The car is on 215/55/17 Vredenstein QuatracPro Tires with ~3,000 miles on them. Clips were taken with a combination of ESC on and off. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below!

Owned an Alltrack Se Manual 2019. Sold it during covid and got a Ford Ranger FX4. Worst decision I ever made. I will never purchase a vehicle from an American company again. Found a used Alltrack SEL with 27,000 miles so I can trade in the ranger. (Did I mention that my 2021 ranger has shit breaks, confused electronics, and a motor that runs like it was made from a Chrysler factory in China. From now on, I only drive Volkswagen! Also got the wife an SEL Atlas. What a beast!
VW makes some solid cars!
just bought a used 18 for this reason. Its a lil screamer in S. Red. Love it. Thanks.
With the right tires, it's great!
@@BrendonWagner ok Mr. Wags, what shoes should I buy. We have about 2 deep snows a season and the rest of the time its rains or is hot. STL. Home of the CARDINALS.
@@lilredscout This year I ran vredestein quatrac pros, which are all season sever-snow rated tires that did great in the snow. I'm super happy with them if you want to go with an all season. I've also heard good things about Michelin cross climate 2s
@@BrendonWagner thanks ...
Did pretty well I’d say. Next time +1 the tire size for more clearance
I agree. The OEM tire size is 205/55/17 and I moved up to 215/55/17, but in the future I may go slightly bigger.
It's nice to see it doesn't plow
Please tell me what tires you all run in the wintertime. We get two good deep ones a year. Otherwise, ice and rain. Suggestions for winter tire usage?
For the first winter, I ran the Falken Sinceras that came with the car and they were terrible. Last winter, I had Vredestein Quatrac Pros, which were also all seasons, but they were severe snow rated, which means they are almost as good as snow tires. If you don't want to have a dedicated snow tire set, I would go with the Vredesteins, or Michelin CrossClimate 2s, for I've heard good things about them as well.
Tires do back the difference, I run snows on my mini all year in Colorado
For sure
Yaaaaaay. Brandon is back... mad he has a trailer hitch receiver. Curious about that.
Haha thanks! I can make a video on it, and I think I have install clips that I can put together for a video if you'd like.
@@BrendonWagner interested!! Big thumbs up!!!
@@samsacre I'll be going up to VT this weekend, but I'll record and upload one this week.
Hey! Sorry for the delay, I recorded a couple versions of the tow hitch video but they didn't come out well, I'll get a good version uploaded sometimes this week.
too, i thought of tuning as well. Keep me posted here as to what you all have done.
So far, everything under the hood is stock because I wanted to keep the warranty intact. I may do a turbo upgrade or a flash tune in the future though.
What a great car. Too bad they quit making them. I guess I'll just find a nice used one for my kid to drive then I can drive it a little. :)
It’s an awesome first car, safe, not too fast, and practical! I agree, it’s a shame they don’t sell them in the US anymore but I guess the market and money speaks
one more thing, someone mentioned below a button for traction? AWD yes, but something else here. Turn on or turn off something. Please refresh my memory.
I'll upload a youtube short in a couple of minutes to explain how to do it!
Are you kidding?? what snow? perfect snow tires
They’re solid tires, even though they are technically all seasons
Are you tuned at all?
I wish! All I've done to the car so far is tints and a tow hitch
@@BrendonWagner just tuned to APR Stage 1 on my alltrack. Wow is it quick but flashing back to factory to sort out a possible transmission issue. If I tune again, Will go with integrated engineering.
@@colsonzack Nice! I'm debating between tuning it now or waiting for the warranty to end.
What trailer hitch did you install? Just received my Curt 1.25”.
@@colsonzack I have the ecohitch 2" which I use for just a bike rack
