► This state of the art low-friction motor oil combines fully synthetic base oils and advanced additive technology. The powerful MFC (Molecular Friction Control) technology prevents the formation of deposits while simultaneously reducing frictional losses in the engine. This unique synergetic effect provides optimum protection from wear and a flawless running engine. Improvements can be seen in reduced fuel consumption and extended service life for the engine. The advanced oil engineering is further underlined by the distinguished green fluorescent color. Nate Vincent is here to take you through some of the highlights of this new offering from LIQUI MOLY.

LMAO!
Thank you for this review. Summarizes what I wanted to know about the additives, the base oil, and why it's green. Great application for my use in restoring a 1999 GMC Safari where I need to identify location of leaks. AND IT'S QUICK! Thank you again.
You're very welcome, glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the breakdown, Nate!
This oil is great! i changed the oil on my Cayman this july and you can hear the difference, the engine runs much more smoother than mobile1.

I'd like to know if a molygen product will be produced as 4t for wet clutch system motorbikes.
I use the 4t Off-road 15w 50 in my bike and am very happy with it. And if molygen version will come. I'll be happier for sure. ☺️
Liqui Moly directly told me the only additive that you can use with this is MOS2 but at 4%. I have 2 jugs already can't wait to try on my next oil change.
Of course they would tell you that MOS2 is the only additive to be used. It's their additive.
There is another LM video where they recommend to avoid using any additives with the oil since they engineered the oil to be perfectly balanced. The video hosts one of LM associates.
@@KainOfNosgoth Actually no. They were very clear that they DO NOT advise adding any other additive but I insisted that if I were to add an additive which would be convenient thats when they told me about MOS2 and 4% max.
@@Gave-rf1hr
OK, makes sense.
so basically, one 300ml can of mos2 per 7 qt oil change (b8 s4 quantity), instead of 1.5 cans of mos2 using LM leichtlauf
@@beamerino yes, I haved used the same method in 2 oil changes and car has been running very smooth for about 15k km (I change every 7k or 8 monthd ) so it works !
Hey 👋 I have a 2013 VW Golf TDI. Is this oil compatible to be used for that diesel car?
What's the oil change interval on this. I know other manufactories say you can go up to 10k miles. Don't see why this would be any different. It is full synthetic right?
I got this for my 2020 Civic andy wife's 2013 Smart ForTwo. I plan on getting it for my 1979 Dodge W150 Power Wagon as well, now that i know about the leak detection.
How does this compare to using standard oil and Ceratec?
I just purchased molygen 5w-30 yesterday. I have a 2023 Acura tlx type s. I used ceratec with Mobil 1 synthetic on my last oil change. Is it ok if I drain Mobil 1 and add molygen to my car? I know the ceratec is supposed to last a while in the engine before needing to be replaced. Also I’ve seen some people using molygen motor protect with their molygen oil. Would that be more appropriate to use as an additive instead of the ceratec?
What’s the max use temp? HPDEs get my oil up to 285F
Which one is more molybednum ?
Special tec aa or molygen
(5w20)
Does it work for Diesel engines too? Bc on the label has the icon of start/stop and gasoline diesel ☑️
Why cant I find Molygen 5w30 recommendation for 335i N54? Cant find this compatibility anywhere and I wanted to know the scientific reason as to why?
If I use a magnetic drain plug would that have any concerns since it has tungsten?
Plz recommend engine oil for MG hs 1.5 turbo ?
Can we use this oil for gm vehicles like for a chevy?
which one is more better ....LM 5W30 special tec AA or LM 5W30 molygen ??? and could it hold until 15000km in middle east ??
guys need ur help, my car Mitsubishi Asx has 100k mileage on it. Which liquid moly should I use?
Hi, I have a 1000cc WegonR Car (Pakistan) model with K series Engin and run 8 thousand kilometers, I want to ask which engine oil grade I use (like 5W40), here the minimum temperature in winter is 0 degrees, and in summer 51 degrees centigrade grade.
What happens if you use ceratec and molygen together
Stuff is badass, just put it in my 2019 wrx and it fking flies now. Engine is quieter and I feel noticeable HP gains with this oil, no lie. I'll definitely keep using it. Liqui Moly FTW
Last oil change at the shop was a different liqui moly and i just put this in its smooth af.
@@monsignor4699 dam that sucks, subie works tried to recommend me some other liqui moly but they're wrong. Feels much better now right ? Ima switch all oils to liqui moly , especially the transmission. Fk Subaru OEM oils , cheap as Fk.
@@georgiteofilov1370 feels way better I have a 2008 audi a4. I was also 500 miles over due for a change. It feels rejuvenated, quieter and smoother. I also changed the snub mount.
Does climate and weather matter? I live in pacific northwest, WA and I've always been getting 0w-30. Is it safe to switch to this brand and type?
@@walletphonekeys, The first number is cold weather performance. W= Winter so the 0W-20 or 0W-30 will have the same cold weather performance. But the second number is more important in your case. What does your vehicle recommend? Most people that switch from the manufacturer recommended oil goes the other way. Meaning they go thicker and say from 0W-20 to 0W-30. Not the other way. If you switch the oil will have less viscosity at operating temperatures. On a newer vehicle since the tolerances are tighter it may be OK. On an older vehicle I wouldn't. Check on what oil your car says it takes. And honestly I would find a good quality oil in 0W-30 and stick with that if it calls for it. Whether it's Liqui Molly, Motul Amsoil etc. A high quality, proven company.
Can it be use on mercedes m272 m273 engine?
Hey I know you said you don’t need to put Ceratec in with Molygen but for the past two oil changes I’ve put both in. Would this cause any issues? I’ve only noticed a little extra material on my drain plug magnet, but that’s it. Is it possible that it came from all the additives in Ceratec and the Additives in Molygen?
Hey bro thank you for sharing your experience with us can you please tell me how your engine, is it still good do you notice any changes like sound or performance . Thanks in advance
As someone who bought this from ur website, it doesnt come with the little flashlight. I got 3k left before next change will order again.
So do you not need the additives anymore?
So will they still tell you to use Ceratec with this? Ok you answered me 😃😎
Can we use in Toyota passo 1000cc
So I use additives like BG products MOA in my oil and 44k in my fuel. With this oil would I not run the moa oil additive anymore?
No
What is the difference between the SAE 5W40 Molygen and the 5W40 Molygen (Synthese Technology) and is one better over the other? I have a 2008 W204 C300.
Synthese Technology means synthetic blend and is not fully synthetic. I don’t know why they would have 2 versions of Molygen? But all of Liqui Moly products are not 100% synthetic or it would say “100% Synthetic” on the bottle.
Can you use this in a regular car like a Toyota 4 runner or is this only for cars that require that particular additive
No car to my knowledge requires the additive, it’s merely a preference. The big one is make sure your using the correct weight of oil for your vehicle. The reason there is many manufacturers is because each has their own recipie. I personally recommend liqui moly in all vehicles because of their background and their products show that. A 4 runner probably would benefit from liqui moly, but any other brand won’t hurt it either
At what duration should I change my motor oil? I live in a humid climate with temperatures of 28+ Celsius. I usually do not run 7500-10000 KM within a year. So after how many months should I change my oil. I am using Liqui Mol Moligen 10W-40. Toyota Mark X GRX120 2500cc V6 97000KM on the clock
6 months and 5000 kms if you drive agressive or one year and 10.000 km if you drive normaly.
Hi, I used the Molygen 5W40 along with Ceratec in my car. And later got to know that it is not recommended. Should I expect any damage to the engine or just less/ no efficacy of the extra additive? Please suggest.
There just no benefits of doing so thats all

At 1:15 he states NOT to use anything else with this oil.
Yes you can use it on special tec
Is it synthetic or conventional?
I used Cera Tec with my last oil change. Is it okay to use Molygen with my next oil change, or do I need to do a normal oil change in between so the remaining Cera Tec doesn’t interfere with the Molygen?
You should be okay switching over. For extra insurance, you could run a can of Engine Flush before switching over to Molygen!

Hey bro thank you for sharing your experience with us can you please tell me how your engine, is it still good do you notice any changes like sound or performance . Thanks in advance
Sound wise, it sounds the same as any oil change. Fresh oil change will quiet down slightly but still noticeable. Performance wise, molygen was great! Really does feel good and engine seemed to run smoothly.
A big misconception is if you reduce friction you reduce wear and this is not always true.
How you figure? Love to hear it. How else is wear not applied? How are you going to get wear without friction?
@@maxpain7197 engine oils contain anti friction modifiers like boron and molybdenum and anti wear compounds like zinc. If you add more anti friction modifiers you can reduce CoF. However, you put too many of one component in say oil, you now have these extra components fighting for space with other compounds such as anti wear additives. Now you reduce their effectiveness therefore increasing wear while reducing friction. These two components behave differently. One has a higher shear factor and the other is much lower. This is why today’s oils are longer lasting and protecting because of the anti wear properties. High zinc oils were used for years but they didn’t offer longevity in protection even though they had a lot of anti friction compounds in them

Robert Gray correct, I am under warranty so I chose not to use it. Otherwise, I’d be open to using it.
