I used mobil 5w30 fully synthetic in my creta 1.4crdi it was so smooth experience and average was also improved ❤️ i will recommend you to try mobil 5w40 fully synthetic and make video on your experience

Theres a reason for this shell hilex the viscosity is usually higher . Therefore may not give the sporty engine response but sure as hell increases the life span of the engine

Please recommend best engine oil for Honda Amaze diesel 1.5 BSIV. I use Castrol Magnetic 5w30 atm. I live in Maharashtra....so cold weather isn't an issue.

While cruising on highways on more than 2.2k rpm there is preheater error symbol blinking and if i restart the car there will be no error. Any guess for the faults?

Sir one of the active engine system is malfunctioning , before i can say anything about it , it's better that you get it scanned first
Have you used Castrol Edge OE Professional? That also comes with VW 505.01 approval. What other options are there besides Toptec & Castrol? I heard somewhere that Meguin oil also is a subsidiary of LiquiMoly?

Sir i have used ceratec in past, before this channel existed , and coincidentally i poured it when i was using shell helix , to be very true , i didn't felt any difference from ceratec

Sir Xcess has also 505 approval , if you want to then go for XClean , but availability is an issue

I used both ... motul 8100 X-cess in past and Shell helix 5w-40 ultra in my swift vdi...What I noticed is Motul is slightly better in terms of delivering more engine smoothness (less noise), pick-up and mileage too was good...now mileage dropped with a difference of 2 kms after using Shell and engine too feels under powered sometimes in first and second gears

Sir the best way is to go with the oil recommended by the manufacturer, just check the grade and try some good brands in the same grade . Like liqui moly

Have anybody tried motul xtec 5w 40 for vw polo 1.5 tdi. I would recommend people to stay away from shell helix i am currently using it for almost 10 months it's horrible. There is so much lag in the mid even high end is dead. Even the Castrol is way better.

Sir all three of the above oils except toptech have old approval of 505 , and as far as my understanding goes, approvals are all about the additive package engine oil has , and only toptech has the required approval 505.01 , so most probably it will outshine all three of them

Sir , to be very true , i am always hesitant to go for castrol , not because of the quality but how much of counterfeit products there are in market , as castrol is most probably the most popular brand , and people who want to earn money on fake products will copy the popular brand

@@yourDIYneeds Thanks a lot. I'll check it out. Again the problem with VW is their specification 502 504 505 etc. Most of these from Shell and Liqui Moly are good. But because of any specification issue if any complication happens the service centre guys are waiting to blame us and suggest any repair to make money. That's why I am being cautious.

I think Toptec 4100 is not a full synthetic oil. In that case from a wear perspective which one is better Shell or LiquiMoly?
It depends how each country defines Synthetic oil.
For example here in Australia it would be classified as a fully synthetic oil (since although the base oil is derived from crude it has been heavily reengineered by people in white coats),
Whereas in Germany an oil can only be called "Fully Synthetic" if the base oil is completely man made (nothing from crude).
So is it just a more processed version of mineral engine oil.... no
