Really love this series. Both the current day version and the retro ones. Retro ones really give that nostalgia of some old great cars and also pays homage to some of the great pole laps of the past.
2012 was when I first started watching f1 and it's safe to say that was the best season to do so. I was hooked. Seb Vettel was unreal in this crazy season too!
Since there have been rumours of the Korean GP returning to the calendar, for your next episode you could try to beat one of the four pole laps set around the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam!
My recommendation for old pole lap time is not official but it was done a British car show called top gear the car was an old f1 Renault when Alonso was with the team
Back in 2011-2012 you could use drs everywhere in the lap for practice and qualy, so if you can tweak the game to allow drs to be used everywhere it will not only be easier, but more realistic.
The 2012 cars were not that quick in terms of downforce, the Pirelli were also under-developed back then (tire performance especially unpredictable in 2012 which is why we had such a crazy season), much less power than today. Yet Vettel was blisteringly quick (for reference the 2019 pole time-fastest ever-was 1:32.0 or something?)
Very strange episode,the car didn't seem to have more understeer than the real car and it looked Ok in the slow corners; that cannot be the only reason you were 3.6 slower, even with DRS everywhere you would have gained like 5/6 tenths; still 3 seconds off, very strange.

If I remember correctly it was Hard and Medium for that race (and it was awful) so you shouldn't use soft
