Great list, man…completely agree with everything you’ve mentioned. Only thing I’d add to it (don’t think you said it) is to see as many pitches as possible in the first few innings inns of a game. Obviously swing at the beach balls but be picky in the beginning of games. This allows you to settle in and figure out how your opponent is pitching. It can also unnerve some players knowing that you aren’t swinging at every pitch or very close pitch. Taking a close strike and waiting for something you see really well is a huge advantage.

Super helpful video. I can totally relate to a lot of what you’re saying with this only being my second year playing. I haven’t played a ton of Ranked because I care too much about my record (currently 44-8) - but I would definitely be better if I played it more.
I recently switched to button accuracy for throwing as well as pinpoint pitching. For me, though, Strike Zone 2 feels the best. I know it’s a little further back but I play on a 32” monitor with my face right up to it - so it works well for me. On SZ I was chasing too many balls in the dirt.

Your right about strike zone my oppents have to throw 50 circ change or curveball in the dirt b4 I realize it won't be a strike lol but anything in the zone I crush. Also plate discipline is huge I have none lol
I think a huge tip oh chev does this he starts his pci inside middle and works his way out u wanna be later on outside stuff so it makes sense. It's my first year I'm 110-45 I think it's pretty good for my first year
It’s not a bad idea I just wouldn’t recommend a technique that I personally wouldn’t use
@Cjuck12 yea it's all personal presence I got a buddy that starts his pci in the dirt and he's 1000 rating he's a dawg

i started to use zone with no PCI and ive been hitting a lot better
I heard some people say they enjoy it. I’d recommend going to like a 20% opacity so you’d at least still have a pci
I'm 43-3 in ranked... All on all star, I basically make sure I have elite pitching lined up and just play a handful of games per season. My record is definetly stopping me from playing ranked more. I'm far from elite but I feel like all 3 of my losses came in the same week and lag was terrible.
I find br and events more fun because they don't affect my record...i even hop into casual games sometimes just to not worry about the record and running into lag issues.
I prob need to get over it to get better. But not a fan of losing especially when I feel like the game itself does it to me.
I'm such a meh hitter. I gotta work on my timing and pci. I'm way too inconsistent. I'm never toxic unless my opponent was first. I just wanna play the game and move on so I only dish it back in those cases.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but SDS has unfortunately patched the captain glitch. I've yet to figure out a work around. Seems like a bad move as the game is already dying. Take away a feature that made it more interesting to keep playing.
More bad news, they further patched this so that "grandfathered" squads have been stripped of the boost.
Almost like they're just trying to kill off the last of the player base that had sine interest in still playing. Makes no sense.
Yeah because honestly it hurts theme teams and team builds more than god squads
I think 40 at bats is all the sample size you need to know if the avg is above 300 explore other options. Havent used donaldson once all year but I guess ill use him now 🤣
Different for everyone, last year Mickey hit .250 for me for a while and ended the year hitting.440
@@CJ12KYT good to know man thanks I gave up on soto who was my best hitter last year and mickey after 40 at bats sitting at 180 with each but maybe ill give them another go
Yea my captain glitch isn’t working, captain disappears when regular card is in the lineup, might be patched
It worked for me a couple days ago. But the pitchers did that for me. I couldn't do it with Pedro. Like you said his captain card wasn't there when I tried
It has not and will not be touched at this point of the year, captains dupe card has to be at 3rd or a secondary. And you can’t do 3rd baseman captains
