I feel your videos help me a lot in learning about hec ras. I hope you can help me on how to create storage area in the 2D flow area and how to connect them in sa/2d connection. And i have another problem about how to connect urban drainage with rivers in 1D hec ras.

Sorry for my previous question, it may be too long to explain. Maybe I will simplify the question on how to make the relationship between drainage and rivers in ras mapper. I am still confused about how to create cross sections for rivers and drainages and cut stations and elevations from the terrain data.

In HEC-RAS you can simulate hydraulic parameters and it is not for catchments and watersheds. If you take a look at my previous videos about flood inundation mapping and learn how to create cross sections and other things.
