Every variable (temperature and precipitation) only runs when the variable/distribution part of solar radiation is selected instead of temperature and precipitation on the bias corrector tool.     Hi, I am working on river modelling 2D - I did run the model with without inserting the bridges and weir in it, but recently i inserted the bridges (using option - SA/2D Connections), i am not able to get the profile(in SA/2D Coonection Editor) for some bridges, for this itried 1. by entering the bridge data for the unavailable profile 2. by selecting the option cut terrian length (this option is not heighlighted for unavailable profiles) i dont know why, please give me a solution by explaining why and how, it would be appreciated, thank you.

      Hi, It seems that you are using DEM in decimal degrees. I said in the video that you should change the coordinate system into UTM and then use HAND software.

      Hi, Actually it's hard to find the main root cause for this error. Still, I recommend you generate meshes again, try to digitize your domain more smoothly, and in RAS Mapper right click on the 2D Flow area and select compute 2d meshes again to make sure that the geoprocessing issue is done.

    Hi Sir. I have doubt. You gave Flow Hydrograph as Input for flow data. Then why you are giving Precipitation as another input to flow data? Is it correct simulation?

      Hi Ravi, yes you are right. But keep in mind that I'm modeling a real river so it has its own input in the river section and precipitation creates extra and separate runoff. For Urban cases, you do not need to define input for upstream BC. Best

      Hi, You can go to the hydraulic parameters section and then select the arrival time, and compute the map. After that, you can find a map of arrival time

    Why the water surface elevation in the profile lines is not horizontal? Inclined at the banks and also WS line not properly connected. What are the reasons and how to rectify this error?

      That's a good question, but keep in your mind that this models is a 2d, not 1d model. In 1d models the water surface is horizontal but it's not true for 2d models and due to the flows coming from both sides to the main channel the water surface is not horizontal.
