I like the mr 3dap but thinking the 2dap is closer to what I need. But will probably just stick with the 3 day. Good vlog I also have the 5.11 72. , think it’s a great pack too but definitely heavy
I agree. I recently splurged got the mystery ranch coulee 40 liter pack. Can carry everything I need and couple changes of clothes. It is extremely comfortable for an old man like me. Pricey at 229.00 but damn it's comfortable.
To each his own I say. If I have a trauma on the road I usually like laying flat, filet it open and all is exposed. Check out the roll out base camp medical kit. You might like that set up. Ty for the comment.
Great vid and review. I love my MR 2-Day pack. Could I get a little more info on the small folding table? That would complete my hiking/camping kitchen.
Ty much appreciated. Amazon has some sturdier ones same dimensions and weight. Search "iclimb" folding back packing table. Same weight as mine. I believe my exact one is not being made anymore. I climb is a great company. Range 17.00 to 30.00. Love mine.
Bernie is the bag person. He uses them for his toys, you know what I mean he has different ones . I am going to share this with him and get him to subscribe.
How comfortable is the waist/transfer strap/belt on the Mystery Ranch? I have a bad back, and tend to rely on a waist strap to carry the bulk of the weight of my bags. Based on images, the 511 appears to have a better waist strap. Thank you, in advance!
Both waist straps are not bad honestly. The problem with the 511 for me was it slid and the weight just would not stay up. Did not matter how I packed it. If you get it save the receipt they have a good return policy. I also have heard similar issues on long hikes.
5.11 is normal double layer nylon not balístic only you have balístic nylon is in maxpedition legacy series for example the Falcon 2 is a better option
2 day assault is 27 liters I now use the Mystery Ranch 40 liter. I can carry all my gear more comfortably. Found the 2 day assault too small for my needs.
Solved my questions when choosing between the 2. Thanks!

As an army medic, I’d like for my bags to stand alone when I sit them down. Specially if I’m spending upwards of +$300

Awesome. Ty much. Will have a video coming up in the future on toys specifically.

@@SurviveOutdoors Thank you! I’m looking at the Rush 100 511, now. That one seems to be more adjustable.

Ty for that. Helpful. I have converted to Mystery Ranch 40 liter. And fifty bucks less.
What’s the litres of the mystery ranch?
