- Hello UA-camrs! We have almost made it to one of the biggest events in the rowing calendar. Henley Royal Regatta. Before that there are the qualifiers. These qualifiers are for all those that were not deemed worthy by the stewards and are given the opportunity to race down the course one by one to make the few spots remaining. This year I am taking part in the qualifiers to try and enter the Diamond challenge sculls, the men's elite single event at Henley Royal Regatta. Really happy with how this video came out. A friend of mine was also trying to qualify for this event, he didn't quite make it, he's only 19 so he'll try and be faster for next year. Still glad so see that you made it this year!

You had to dig deep into the pain-cave for that one Cam (with some scary dips to strokeside!). Onwards and Upwards for Tuesday big man - get some quality recovery time and fuel up - remember, food is fuel (including uncut pizzas) 😎

Food will always be fuel. I always say this ironically to colleagues because we work with crude oil and fuels.

Is there another qualifier or you are in the main event?
Is there a requirement to enter the qualifier or can anyone register and race?
Anyone can enter the event. The Henley stewards select who has to go to qualifiers and who doesn't based on events raced in that season. Generally if you're international you don't have to qualify. Qualifiers is the one event in the video that you have to race if the stewards didn't think you're fast enough to re qualify. No requirement to enter the qualifiers but it is a lot of effort to go through for just a jolly.

How does the empacher compare to the hudson?

Is it just me or did Aram's feedback have some effect? Still a bit t-rexy with the arms but otherwise the technique is really starting to get there!

As you can see in the video when putting the camera on the boat, it's a 360 camera
