- Hello UA-camrs! We have made it to a good old fashioned vlog episode of the French National Championships. We travelled South to race from Nantes to Vichy, raced 6 times over the weekend and returned back as French National champions! I really enjoyed my trip to Nantes this year and looking forward to the next part of the season!

Thanks! New ones are currently in process of being tested but won't be released until all tests are complete. Unfortunately no set time for that
I have a comment, and I will state for the record that you know a lot more about rowing than I ever will. But, at age 76, I have been involved in sports and competitions for 60+ years. My thesis is based on your results at the French Nationals. It appears that you are a stronger sweeper than sculler. The Olympic trials are slowly approaching. It would seem that if you could attach yourself to a top pairs team or 8's until after the trials you would stand a better chance of: 1. Participating in the Olympics, and 2. Medaling in the Olympics.

Hey Cameron, amazing video, I was hoping that you can show a little bit more of how you guys strap your boats. Would be very interesting to know
You can see in the video when taking the boat off the trailer the strap is wrapped around the boat and onto trailer
My question particular is. What you do with the extra strap length. I've been told many different things from different coaches. And i'm curious know what you guys do

I have raced with them last year. They invited me over and is good fun! I am not fluent but can understand enough!
interesting to cover doping as this is rarely discussed I wonder how many positive tests occur at international level year round - I suspect EPO is almost certain to be used by some athletes.
For rowing you rarely see any positive tests. I think I've heard about 1 in the past couple of years and that wasn't in the international rowing scene. I would have no idea what is used 😂
Congratulations!! This is probably a dumb question - were those all 2k rows? 6 in total --> you could carry me off in a stretcher😂 I only did an official 2k row once, on a concept2, and it was one of the most excruciating experiences ever!

Yes indeed. Generally you won't see many races side by side that aren't 2k
