I had a little green spider come out a crow skull, scared me at first but the little guy was kinda cute. Still chucked him out the back door though lol
Imagine going to somebody's house and just seeing a bunch of animal bones laid out in their yard Edit: I know how it feels to be the person with the bones laid out, I got into vulture culture and had a bunch of goat bones out on a table drying. One of my friend came over to my house and was very confused
Something I do to whiten skulls I find is soak them in a container of BIZ laundry detergent and water, I use BIZ specifically because it has enzymes in it and the enzymes dissolve residual tissue and another thing it does is dissolve grease (sometimes bones have grease in them that cause discoloration so soaking them in this could help with that) Personally I also got a fish tank heater to put in with it because the heat helps speed up the process of dissolving any tissue left I saw another comment talking about whitening the bones with hydrogen peroxide and that is a great way to do it! It also completely sterilizes the bones at the same time. Another way to whiten them is by leaving them in the sun for a long while, which gives a more natural whitening. But if you do the sun whitening method make sure the bones are completely dry before doing it because if the bones dry too fast they can crack Here’s a link to a twitter post showing an elk skull I found recently! I cleaned it with the above method with the laundry detergent because of how much dried tissue was left on the skull still twitter.com/standbythemutt/status/1361609863424475139?s=21
seeing that big spider, dang. recently had a huge stink bug crawl out of a cats skull I was cleaning and it sprayed on me when I was pulling it out, 0/10 wouldn't recommend
Dude I love bone hunting I'm partial native American and I do alot of bone crafts such as making bone knives and bone necklaces and sell them to people I know, u low key seem chill lol
if i have enough money and if you sell on etsy or depop then i would probably buy some teeth from you since i’m trying to get a collection of bones going
Where do you live that there's this many carcasses for you to loot? I'm jealous. If you find any squirrels their jawbones make good earrings... drill them with a pin vice and you're set. I made one pair for my friend and I had several people ask me for one but I don't find squirrels very often.
Very impressive! I don't think I could do a skull, with how fascinated I am with creatures, it doesn't make sense why I will literally evaporate if I touch tissue.
if you wanna whiten them and have a lot of patience, you could sunbleach them! it takes a lot of time but i know that a lot of other people do it and it seems to work for them really well, even though i have personally not done it before.
How in the world did you find all of those bones? I walk in the woods all the time, and have only found a few broken deer bones, and a bird. I dream of finding a skull!
Have you tried walking near roads and train tracks? Animals get hit all the time. If you have someone breeding goats, cows or whatever nearby you could try walking around there, some of them dump their dead animals near their properties.
If you keep borax and water you can crystallize them and they look really pretty you can look them up pictures of them or you can make them into hats by getting a hat and playing them on you can make jewelry out of them like I have teeth earrings You can paint them and hang them up you could take some of those rib bones and grab some hip bones or you can glue hip bones together to make petals ribs can be a stem
Best way to whiten is developer from the salon I use 20% vol but 40 is best, use that in hot water and soak until white. Peroxide can be pricey so this is cheaper and it won’t make the bone brittle over time. Best to seal with a top coat. I watched a video and seen someone using mop and glow.
You could make some cool art look up some stuff on Pinterest, like painting on them, or making mandalas/ patterns with smaller bones in a picture frame
Do leave bones you don't really want in the forest. They're a really important part of the ecosystem, bugs and stuff especially snails need their calcium. I do like the end results, I love teeth!
Why is no one talking about that massive ass spider that shows up when they're cleaning the skull?
I was absolutely terrified
I jumped when I saw it-
That gave me chills ✨✨

i would also recommend looking at prices that people usually sell this kind of stuff for so no one tries to scam you!

Cool video! I'm starting to collect bones, but I have a very small collection.
This is so cool.
As an aquascaper, watching you use that aquarium for bones hurt my soul x)
As a landscaper I imagined you planting flowers at the bottom of a swimming pool

Mix the developer with water^^
How long do you let the bones soak in the developer/water

fun times!!
you are ever good at finding bones and you can do witchcraft with them. :)
how do you tell your mom you need to wash your bones without sounding insane?
I'm hiding mine in plain sight and cleaning them while she's gone 😭

Really cool
is the smaller bucket hydrogen peroxide and the bigger one water? or is it something else
are there any goat skulls availble for purchase? and hydergen peroxide will whiten them
Muy buen video y excelente trabajo. Pero no olvides usar guantes para tratar con esas cosas.
I suggest displaying them on your wall, and use hydrogen peroxide to whiten them
Ive heard that soaking in pure hydrogen peroxide whitens but idk if you want to get that much peroxide cause thats a ton of bones
Spooder 🕷
SELL THEM ON ETSY PLEASEE
I WANT TO BUY ONE STOP!!!❤❤🙏🙏🥺🥺🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
where are you located where you find soooo much!? hahah
Hydrogen Peroxide for 24 hours to whiten.
I have bird skull
Hydrogen peroxide will whiten them, could put together the skeleton and make a European neck mount
Industrial hydrogen peroxid works second best ,.. use protective gear
Soak them in a 50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. Try a couple first.
Paint them! That’s what I do with mine :))
Stop using chemicals, rain water and sun.
You will buy it for my modile phoned cases.
Penny for thoughts?
