I've missed you! Your videos are so relaxing to watch, I think I just really love your soft voice. Do you think you'll make any videos in relation to halloween?
I've missed you too! Omg thank you, that's so kind 🖤 I'd really like to film at least one halloween video this year but I can't guarantee it. I'll do my best to make it happen though! 🎃
YESSSS THIS IS AWESOME!!! so many bones oh my gosh, I get days like this sometimes where I just find treasure after treasure and it doesn't stop until I decide to go back home.. so happy u got such a lucky day and that u filmed it for us! thank u for making ur vids I loooove them so much
Yesss omg I love those super successful treasure hunting days soo much! 'it doesn't stop until I decide to go back home' - I definitely feel this! I just know I would've found more stuff if I had kept going but I was so tired 🥱 Thank you so much too, it was such a pleasure to film this and hang out with my yootoob friends again 🖤
Oh my gosh your back!!! eeee! I missed you so much!! Your one of my idols and your the one who introduced me to oddities I’ve been collecting them for a couple months now and I enjoy it so much! ❤
omg thank you so so much!! 🥹🖤 I'm super happy for you that you're enjoying oddity collecting so far, it's such a fun adventure when you're first getting started 😊
I love these videos!! Makes me jealous of what you can find where you live. I usually just find deer bones. I will definitely be scavenging sometime this week, this video has given me inspiration
Yeee thank you! 🖤 Aw I wish I could find deer bones! I'm always finding sheep, although they're my favourite to work with at least haha I hope you find some interesting finds this week!! Happy scavenging 😊
love the video and yes your voice is so peaceful to listen to and love how much you know about the bones and the terminology cause that's what I find super interesting too is bones but hope you have a great day or night 😊
Thank you so much, I'm really pleased you enjoyed everything! 🖤 There's a great youtube video on bone terminology that really helped me remember a lot of the names because I used to watch it everyday ahaha Let me know if you'd like a link to it! Hope you have a great day or night too and that there are many wonderful bone finds in your future 😊
I am not a professional and I can be wrong, but as far as I know, a kangaroo could have only 2 teeth on one side because it was a young animal, molars are only indigenous, which is why a young animal with milk teeth does not have them. Thanks for the video!
Oh that's such a good point, I never even considered that! It is curious though that the skull plates aren't less fused if the animal was that young 🤔 I really need to learn how to estimate age by the skull's teeth already, it would help a lot haha Thank you for stopping by and for your input! I'll definitely look into that more 😊
Hello handsome, Im so glad to see you're ok and doing well. I love your videos and you've really helped me embrace being myself, i go back to them often because they are comforting. So thank you soooooo much, may eventually do my first proper book vlog, ive wanted to do one for ages, as I love reading to and read alot this year. so excited to watch your nature vlogs again. Again thank you, you're the best. xx
Hey Isabelle, so good to hear from you again! Omg that truly makes me so happy - I'm so glad they resonate with you in that way and I'm really pleased you've found the courage to embrace yourself 🥹🖤 I love that my stuff gets to be someone's comfort videos because I often do the same thing where I'll rewatch certain youtuber's videos in the background for comfort and familiarity 🥰 I would love to see that book vlog if you end up making it!! How many books have you read so far this year? My goal was 35 but I'm in a bit of a reading slump and am starting to fall behind 🥲 Thank you so much too! 🖤 ily xx
@@CorvinSometimes oh wow thank you😃😋🥰, no seriously I wish I lived in Australia sometimes cause of the wildlife and nature there, I have one or two oddities, i collect skulls and crystals, because I collect them as I go. 😅😆 I haven't read nowhere near that many but would like to get to that stage at some point, I read i think 6 or 7 this year so far, I just finished the first Narnia book, cause i have them, but never read them, I read Haruki Murakami Kafka on the shore, whose one of my favourite authors, you may like his stuff, but a little incesty....sorry lol, also read Agatha Christy like the big bulky novels, Harry Potter i have to read every year just to remember important aspects, and a fantasy novel. Im currently reading The Moon dial by Helen Cresswell and The strange power by l.J.Smith. Ive read a couple others but i would have to have them at hand to know the authors names. I love books, how can people not read. x😂
Australia is kind of a double-edged sword in that way - like it's definitely cool that there's so much wildlife here but it's kind of scary in the summertime with all the snakes, spiders and swooping magpies that come out ahaha Sometimes I wish I lived in Canada or something. I'd rather deal with the angry geese than worry about kangaroos wanting to gut me lolol Ooh what skulls and crystals do you have? 😮 6-7 is still pretty good!! And everyone has different schedules so I definitely understand if people can't read 35 in one year haha What was Narnia like? I've got all the books too but still haven't read them yet, so I'm curious! Aha thanks for the incest warning, you know how I feel about that after my book review 🫢 I've definitely heard of Agatha Christy before, that sounds super familiar 🤔 Totally agree, reading is the best! I don't remember if I've asked this before (sorry if I already have!), but are you on GoodReads? I'd love to keep up with all your reading if you're on there 😊
I actually found a bunch of bones in the woods just outside my house, but they seem to be cut up so that's strange, maybe someone just threw out some bones from a chunk of meat
Ahh yeah I find cut up bones like that sometimes too! It'd definitely be from chunks of meat or hunting scraps. They can still be good for making stuff with though as long as they're not cooked 🥲
Omg hi fishy!! 🖤🖤 Fancy seeing you here haha We definitely need to go foresting together one day, that'd be so fun! Yeee thank you, my wind breaker says you look cute too 😝 I'm sorry I never got back to you on insta btw, my phone was being a dick for a while but I think I've fixed it now so I'll return to our convo asap 💜
WOOOHOOO IM GOING BONE HUNTING SOON CAUSE HUNTING SEASON IS OVER FOR NOW WHERE I AM. I feel like I never have much luck but I'm going an area around where hunters go so maybe
Thank you, I'm so pleased you enjoy them! 😊 I'm currently trying to downsize my collection of uncleaned bones a bit (currently have about 8 crates of them!) so I might have to wait until I'm on top of cleaning/selling everything before I can film another one 😭
Hello fellow aussie! Sorry about my delayed reply 😅 My understanding is that we can scavenge kanga bones but we can't sell them without a license (same goes for most native animals here). But it may be different state to state though, so don't take my word for it haha
Hi, Are you Australian based? I am looking into starting a bone jewellery shop but I am not sure if I need to have a special license or something… I was just looking or some advice :) thank you
Omg sorry I took so long to reply, I didn't mean to! 😭 But yes, I am australian based too. This may vary from state to state but afaik for here in SA you only need a license if you're selling any native animals (but you can still scavenge and keep them for yourself without a license). When selling native animal parts you also need to provide a special form for the buyer to sign and keep a record of all the native animals that go in and out of your possession if you're selling them (you get a neat little book to do this in when you purchase the license). You can get a 'basic license' that covers most common native animals here but for other native animals you'll need a 'specialist licence' and so on. The licenses get more expensive the fancier they are. You'll also need to publicly display your license number where ever you're selling native animals. I personally don't sell any native animal remains anymore because the forms and licenses made it too hard (I just let my license expire and never renewed it lol). But you can sell introduced species without any of that!
I do have a very old video on my previous channel about good spots for bone hunting here: ua-cam.com/video/ftA7K2EcUEE/v-deo.html I know it's super low quality and I sound like a squeaky toy (I was like 17 or something haha) but I do hope it helps! Happy scavenging 😊
Thats amazing how you just find so many bones so perfectly laid out I combed my forrest looked under all the leaves but theres nothing Where do the dead go 😔
Love these oddity scavenging videos you do their so relaxing to watch 😊🥰
Thank you, I'm so happy you like them! I wish I could make them more often, they're so much fun to film 😄

@CorvinSometimes You're welcome you have a great day and hope you have more great finds ahead!!
Right back at you, my friend!! 🖤
Kangaroo bones reminds me of canadian deer bones ❤
I can see why! I think kangaroos in general are kind of deer-like (they have similar looking faces imo), so that doesn't surprise me haha 🦘🦌
That's quite a few skulls and bones for one area...
It certainly is! I did walk/explore for about four hours though, tbf haha
Hellloooo(from a fellow bone hunter located in Australia) can we take kanga bones? They are protected to idk .
Hello fellow aussie! Sorry about my delayed reply 😅 My understanding is that we can scavenge kanga bones but we can't sell them without a license (same goes for most native animals here). But it may be different state to state though, so don't take my word for it haha

What country? Really cool that there is kangaroos:)
Australia 😊
Do you have any tips on bone finding? I can never find any :(
I do have a very old video on my previous channel about good spots for bone hunting here: ua-cam.com/video/ftA7K2EcUEE/v-deo.html

where is this place? Australia? I thought this video was so cute
Yes, Australia! 😊 Thank you so much, haha 💜
🤠👍👌🦋❤
Looks like hypodontia lack of natural grown teeth
Oooo interesting! Thank you for your thoughts on this, it's really cool to know what could be going on with this roo 🦘
Thats amazing how you just find so many bones so perfectly laid out
I combed my forrest looked under all the leaves but theres nothing
Where do the dead go 😔
It was such a lucky day, it's extremely rare I ever come across so many bones at once!
I'm sure they're out there waiting for you, keep looking! 🦴
