  • Well show season is over, and now you are stuck watching me do photoshoots on Location.
Made our First stop to Murrays in Fort Worth Texas to photograph his 61 caddy, and take a quick tour/look at projects.
Hope you like the video because we won't have any more shows till probably February, and this is what I normally do everyday haha.
Thanks to Heath for taking the time to show us around, and for cleaning up the caddy for a photoshoot.

The 56 2dr Ht on the lift stripped to bear metal is my Nephews. Was my brothers, and was bought back in 1967. His son Mike M is taking it to a new level by having Heath do more than restore it. Thx for sharing the tour. My oldest son and I just came from there today Jan 18th, and when I asked Travis "this car looks familiar", when he said Mike M. it made my Day. I know Heath since 2008, and watched this young man and his company grow for 16 years. I put Murray Kustom Rod at the top of charts when it comes to Top Builds. Bears Rod Shop (Retired Now).

Oh my what to do? Stuck with John for some truly badass rides. Best thing I've seen since Bellos Kustoms. That Caddy! Winning the Less Is More Award. Well just one nit to pick - the chrome exhausts pull just a little too much attention. Otherwise perfect! Keep 'em coming.

    • @NotStockPhoto
      @NotStockPhoto  8 місяців тому +2

😂 you say that now let’s see how everyone feels in February.
The exhaust fits a style from a bye gone era of customs that heath was trying to emulate so it’s not for everyone style wise but is perfect for an era.
Thanks for taking the time to watch.

Love it. Happens to be the exact car I would want built and close to identical at the detail level.

Yea this one runs the fine line of being a crowd stopper when you roll in, but can still pile the family in it to go to town.
I love a mild custom, and Heath knocked this one out of the park.
Thanks for taking the time to watch 🙏

Awesome video! Just discovered your channel. Great to see you combining photography with cars as episodes. As a fellow car photographer, your eps are right up my alley!
This ep caught my attention as I own a custom 61 Caddy myself. I named it Rebelene as I've always liked the name Maybelline but felt the car had a male vibe to it.
Keep up the great work while I spend time watching more instead of working. Thanks! 😏😅

Congrats on having one of the coolest cars to ever roll out of the factory……… cars can have dude names it’s ok 😂

if you drive it you need mirrors, not only by law but you need them to be safe, change lanes all that.. small chrome ones hang em off the A pillar bout half way up, you can use the style that clamp on with a wing nut tensioner, maybe 2.5" diameter, a smaller motorcycle style that clamps on, remove for shows, use rubber or hard plastic where it clamps to gutter, or you can hang it off of the top of the door frame as far forward as it goes ..
me id go real fancy even for the temp style, teardrop pot for the mirror stand, no noise, streamline plus looks cool, all the stand would need to be is maybe 3.5" long, bend it nice, tapered teardrop so it cuts the wind, same for the mirror itself, the wind side wants to be conical, not extreme but so its quiet an looks cool, the other end is a gutter clamp with a wing nut tensioner to come off and on real quick, or even a spring loaded trigger ..
you really don't want to drive a car with that caliber without mirrors, that's begging for it, and it restricts your capability when really you want to improve it as much as possible, most aren't driving $200,000 customs and are insures, so not hitting you isn't their priority, their phone is, or something else, and for those who are not insured? double uninsured no jokes... never wanna learn that one the hard way . . keep it clean and original, mirrors help do that
