    Do more cooking videos! Would love to see your Chinese style steamed fish! Show how to grill, bake and fry! Another idea is to show Asian dipping sauces. Thai, Vietnamese, Lao etc. Also reactions of family and friends! Plus local beers and wine.

    This seemed like fishing perfection. Only out for a little bit, caught lots of fish you wanted. I liked how you were putting the pressure on cause Sheena’s mom is visiting! 😂 Also I agree and I’d love to see your steamed fish cooking!

    Nice fishing mate. In and out in a few hours. Have you / do you bleed your snapper (as you would a Kahawai) ? I found it a game changer, and now, bleed all the snaps I keep.

      Hi John. Thanks so much for watching. I did bleed all my snapper for a while there. I found it made the flesh really nice and clean looking but didn’t do much to the taste. What do you think? I’d kind of forgotten about it to be honest. Might have to bring that back. Thanks for the reminder. Cheers, Thomas

      @@chasingacatch6017 you’re probably right regarding on making a change on the flavour - but why eat fillets that are pink form blood when they can be clean and white? Plus my young kids are super fussy haha. I remove all bloodlines etc and they are loving the snapper (5 and almost 4 year old) So - if they are eating fresh fish I’m happy! Cheers

      Great point! I’ve just got back from another filming trip and didn’t do it but I’ll have to pick the habit back up. Again thanks for the reminder. So good feeding the kids fresh fish isn’t it. My 10 month old hoovers it down and it makes me so happy!

    • @chasingacatch6017
      @chasingacatch6017  6 місяців тому

      Thanks mate. The reel is a Penn Slammer which is a 3500 size and using an Abu Garcia 6-10kg rod. Let me know if you need more info. Cheers, Thomas
