For me, I prefer simple basic patterns, vs. anything more complicated, so adding fun quilting helps make any quilt a lot more interesting. Most of all, I appreciate your home machine quilting videos - it speaks to a lot of us who can't afford to send them out or who don't have access to a longarm. I welcome all your videos. Lovely quilting, and great poodles. I would never complain about your fur babies. When we lived on the farm, we had 12 cats and two dogs and about 15-20 chickens and 26 turkeys. All these beauties lived outside or in the chicken house. I would talk to them all. I have very sensitive skin and I could not touch the cats or dogs, as I'd break out in a rash. But I miss them very much. Thank you for sharing. :)
Yeah I just love animals 💖 they can bring so much joy into your life, ya know? But for some reason, some people just dislike them. Oh well 🤷🏻♀️

I only use my Juki for FMQ.
About 2 weeks ago, I noticed my feed dogs weren't lowered.
My brain kinda went bizzerk trying to figure out on earth I've managed to fmq with my feed dogs up.
Well, now I know it's because my stitch length is set to 0.

Yes the line is called "Pips" and it's from Moda!
So after u glue the piece down. Will pressing it help it stay better?
No, the pressing just helps the glue dry a little quicker lol I was impatient 😂

Question. After you finished quilting, do you do the binding & then wash it or wash it before doing the binding. I’m really a beginner so not sure. I think binding first or the edges would not stay nice. Thanks for your patience with me 😅
Great question! And yes, you’re correct. You’ll need to bind your quilt before washing otherwise the raw edges of the batting and fabric would fray like crazy! 💖 Thanks so much for watching!

Thank you, love the dog mat. I've used the Elmers glue stick on a Jean quilt I'm making, it works great. Thank you for the tip on the feed dogs and stitch length, I might have to try it on my Singer machine for smaller items. Last time I FMQ with it, it started acting up half way through my project. I had to unpack (we were moving) my Husqvarna Platinum 16 to finish. I enjoy your videos, pets and giggles! Don't stop being you.

Hello! 👋 so glad to have you! I actually didn’t know 505 made a glue stick! I’ll have to try it sometime, but I always use Elmer’s School glue and have never had an issue with it! And the template is actually MSQC brand! They’ve been coming out with a bunch of cute templates lately, but oh my goodness, it would pair really well with that Tula Pink fabric line! Nice to meet you, Pattie! 💖 I’m in the middle of Missouri!
