I was there tonight. The crowd was ELECTRIC. It was AMAZING such great energy and she felt it. The arena erupted with applause for her so many times. She really fed off of it. Magical night! Thank you M!!!

+Milton Medina Would be interested to know how the crowd differed in mix from those that went to the MSG concerts. I went on Thursday night and the crowd was pretty responsive, though it was definitely an older crowd - 30s and 40s.
Now, the tour is PERFECT!!!!!

i was mad when i first saw the setlist and this song wasn't on it. it's a single, it's the best song on the album, and madonna herself said it was her favorite. i'm so glad she added it.

This is so unlike her (I think) to add or change something once a show is on the road! Please perform this in Detroit! This is the Madonna I fell in love with in '83.
+triamericano Well, she added Holiday, Everybody and Music to certain cities for MDNA plus Love Spent at the end so I don't think it is THAT unusual. Ghosttown isn't my favorite from the album but it would have been almost the only time a single wasn't performed on a tour so for that reason alone I'm glad it is there, at least for now. :)

I'm glad she sang this. But I would have preferred a theatrical number with a video backdrop and dance routine from the video. But can't be done now because she intended to leave this out of the set.
+BoraBoraSharkBoy I agree with you in that this song definitely deserved a proper performance BUT after having surprised us with it here in the more intimate section of the show, I can see how it had a huge impact on the crowd... obvious by their standing ovation and loud reaction. I wouldn't have gotten the goose bumps and tears when I saw her tears if it were just part of the show. After all the crap in the media, it seems she is just going straight to the REAL PEOPLE now and this was a really honest and sincere moment between her and her fans.
Apparently, one of her dancers said on FB that they intended a bigger performance of this song but it didn't work so it was cut from the set list.
Madonna has said that she enjoys performing it so, as the fans clearly want it, we're getting it like this. Amazing. It really works and I hope she keeps it :)
She has never connected with an audience this way ever before.
She wasn't the only one crying. I was a MESS when she finished this song. This was the best concert I have ever been to...madonna or otherwise. An unforgettable night....she had that audience eating out of her hand.

While I am glad she performed this song on this tour, I have to admit it deserves a "proper" performance with choreography like the video coming to life, fitting in the show, and this is a good place for it as a gypsy wandering into a ghosttown, but i hope she keeps it in there.
Normally, I'd agree with you, but this is beyond sweet. She seems so sentimental on this tour.

+Willie Pelissier I don't think this is like her at all, to add something to a show once it's on the road. She is really generous on this tour and the crowds and reviews are reciprocating the love big time. I hope she keeps this. I am torn tho like you, I agree it deserves a proper performance and wish it were incorporated into the show but if she keeps this here for the rest of the tour I think she'll get an emotional reaction like this on every upcoming stop. At least I hope she performs it in DETROIT!
triamericano I think this is her most fan-oriented tour. After all the crap from the media, fake profiles, avatars etc, I think she's cut the crap and gone straight to the REAL people...
+triamericano This is not like her at all, but we did get Beautiful Killer and Love Spent on MDNA, so maybe this is a "newer" thing she is doing. I know from what I have seen on social media, a lot of people, including me, expressed how we felt GT was not in this tour, and maybe, she somehow caught wind of this, and she included it. She has to know from the crowd response it's a keeper! We were teased all summer with the setlist, and songs like Rescue Me, take A Bow, we thought we were getting, and not seeing them included makes us hope social media can make a difference. It's ultimately her show, and she can do what she wants, but it will be smart if she picks up on the resources she wasn't able to in the past. A lot of tours had that one or two songs that went "missing"- I know I wanted Bad Girl, Rescue Me, and TUTBMP in the Girlie Show, for example, and I know I'm not the only one who felt like that. Now imagine if 1993 had facebook and twitter- I bet one of those songs will have shown up at some point, or all of them. I noticed an increase of this since the S&S tour - incorporating other songs not originally on the "main"setlist. I love seeing such great reviews, but this isn't the first tour Madonna smiled and looked happy. I think more people are being a little less judgmental - and surprisingly after the way Holy Water is performed, but maybe some people are opening their eyes :-)
Please it's so important, can anybody that was there tell me at which hour start the show and at which hour finish??? Please answer....
