I agree- I never really understood all of the hate for him when Iron Man 3 came out. I think he was a great way to ground Tony, and he's an awesome inverse to a lot of the other MCU heroes in that he's poor and has nothing to get on by but his wits and brains- like Tony in iron Man 3. What's most interesting about Harley in the MCU as of recently is how he can be juxtaposed against Peter Parker. One could make the case that he's just a proto Peter, but I've also seen a lot of people complain about the MCU Peter because he does't struggle financially or have the every day "working man" problems of traditional Peter in the previous film iterations and comics. Harley, however, does have these issues- and I think pairing Peter and Harley together for at least a few scenes somewhere down the line could make for a really interesting three way foil between Harley, Tony, and Peter, as well as between Peter and his comic book counterpart, if that makes sense. #BringBackHarleyKeener
I wondered who that guy was - but I'm not so into these films that I started digging for the info. Thank you very much for letting me know! I liked this character a lot in Iron Man 3. He and Tony learned important things from each other.
