After watching your video. I went to the website and purchased the same one. Will be adding it to my Rolex and Omega collection. Among many others. Appreciate this specific video. Looking forward to more.
Thanks for the excellent review, lots of great detail. I'm very impressed with the "matte" finish, it actually seems to have a satin lustre. Bonus points for the date change slo-mo 👍
Thanks man. I should have done a high frame-rate shot. It would have been more clear. I’ll have to do that in the next review with an instant date change.
I enjoyed your video. I believe the coin edged bevel was designed that way for symmetry do to the screws for the tightening or loosening of the ball bearings of the bezel. My guess. How many specific winds is ? That should come in the owner's manual of course. How scratch resistant is it? Maybe not like the cold hardened steel Damascus. Definitely a lot more scratch resistant than the high polish. Been looking online for more reviews on that specific model, couldn't find any.
I currently have Sinn 556i , & lusting after the Sinn 104 . I totally agree with what you say about German engineering 👍🕊🙏. Another cool thing regarding the Crown . When you are screwing the crown back in it doesn't carry on winding the watch up 👍 were as alot of other watches do . I like the 38 power reserve as give out 28.800 beats per hour 4H rather 3H any day 👍
No chance I can make it to see Jody He is on the literal opposite side of the world. Plus he just had a kid. But I do tend to sell off the watches I don’t wear. About half - maybe more of the watches on my channel are long gone. And I have a kid now too and another on the way so my time to film new videos has evaporated.
It’s an automatic watch. You don’t have to hand wind it. But it is capable of being hand wound to start it up if you have not worn it in a while. So no downside 🙌🏼 Also thank you.
I really like Damasko and I think their Lemania 5100 style (center min chrono hand) will be in my near future, but the black hands on the DA47 are just a little too funky for me.
Great review, the matte version only sold in North America and Australia, not available in UK and Europe. Big mistake Sinn, you are losing many customers.
So here is what watch buys told me - the watch was created for them at their request (the full matte case and bracelet obviously many people sell the standard 104). They don’t currently have any plans to order more but will if the demand is there. So if enough customers want it they will ask Sinn for more. Watch buys said there is an 8-9 month lead time on orders. They didn’t tell me how many they made and the case and warranty card do not specify numbers. I believe that this watch’s is just the case and bracelet from the new 105 with the guts and bezel of the 104. That is unconfirmed but the dimensions are the same and they look identical to me. TLDR: I don’t know but it seems like it’s limited production not a limited edition.
You would have to reach out to watch buys and see if they can ship to you but because it’s a US distributed they may not. If they won’t you will need to get it second hand or find a friend in the states.
It’s only for their us distributer watchbuys. Other then the matte finish I believe it is a standard 104. Because they don’t sell it directly and it’s a limited quantity US only watch they may have chosen not to place it on their site.
If you're going to review an amazing watch brand...please do your homework and spend some time learning how to pronounce the brand name properly. You keep pronouncing it as "Sin"...its a German brand and correct phonetic pronunciation is "Zinn" .. Good luck with the channel.
I did address this in my video. I mention it should be pronounced Zinn. Many watch brands names are pronounced differently in different countries even if it is technically incorrect. I choose to pronounce it Sinn. I understand the German origin and how it is pronounced in its home country. Thanks for your concern
Ive been on fence between polished and matte versions of white dial 104 for a while. This helped, thx!
Glad I could help!
Thank you for doing the crown check and day/date demonstration. That was what I was looking for in this piece.
No problem
I look for those things too😁
Great review, thanks. I had the polished Sinn 104 white dial and would much prefer the matte version in the future. Cheers.
Thanks man!

Great review of a fantastic watch. Just got one for an early Christmas present from the bride. Absolutely melts onto the wrist. What a gem.

Thank you!

The 104 has convinced me that I want a U50 😶 sooo I think that is where I’m headed next.
@@rightwristonly8796 You need to visit ( just one more watch ) 🤗🥳🤪 I identify 🤗🤪
No chance I can make it to see Jody

Still looking to add this piece. Very nice
It’s one only the most comfortable watches I have. It’s what I pick up on days that I don’t want to deal with any odd weight to catching on my cuff 👍🏼
Congrats on the 104!
Thanks man!
Watching this while wearing it on my wrist (same watch on a sailcloth strap) Great review!
Thank you. It really was a surprise to me how comfortable it is to wear.
Nice job 👍! I'm considering a 104 Matt finish in white too. The only downside is the hand winding.

The best flieger along with the Damasko DA47 👍💯

Enjoyed that thanks!
Thanks man!
Just got my red second version !! Love it
Glad to hear it 👍🏼

Hey these matt case says limited edition but how many total pieces are they making?
So here is what watch buys told me - the watch was created for them at their request (the full matte case and bracelet obviously many people sell the standard 104). Can anyone tell me how to get this matte white 104 in here South Korea?
Is there any way I can get this piece?
You would have to reach out to watch buys and see if they can ship to you but because it’s a US distributed they may not. If they won’t you will need to get it second hand or find a friend in the states.
how much is prices for these matte case? thanks
Your best bet is to check watch buys because they are the only retailer for this watch.
But this is not on Sinn web site?
It’s only for their us distributer watchbuys. Other then the matte finish I believe it is a standard 104. Because they don’t sell it directly and it’s a limited quantity US only watch they may have chosen not to place it on their site.
why is this watch now $2400...
They raised the price. Everybody is squeezing what they can and calling it inflation.
38 hrs Power reserve
It's pronounced Zinn. Why can't Americans pronounce stuff correctly? It's rude.
Mostly because we don’t care to try. You’re right that’s how it’s pronounced, just not by us. No one is trying to be rude 😘
