- Description
The Sinn 104 is a classic everyday watch. I don’t think many watches in this price range deliver on this level of engineering, finishing, and aesthetic appeal.

Great review, I've owned a 104 for two years now and can't get enough of it
One of the all time best everyday watches for the money, ever.
This watch is gold, Jerry. Gold!
Your wife would really like the Oris Aquis 39.5 mm dive watch. It's one of the best watches with a bezel for smaller wrists. I just got the tools to size a bracelet, so I'm going to buy a bracelet for my Sinn 104. I love the brown leather strap I bought it with, but I think it would be nice to have a stainless steel bracelet for summer.
Good call on the Aquis. We have been eyeballing that one for her. She really likes her Chris Ward but is intrigued by Oris. I like the leather on the 104 as well but am more of a runner strap guy for the summer. Thanks for watching the vid!
Love your review, love your style. I coincidentally took delivery of my Sinn 104 on Dark Brown strap with the stunning Dark Blue sunburst dial. Absolutely blown away with it.!
Honestly one of the very best watches I have ever owned. Thanks for watching!
It’s rare that I see a review which says something I haven’t heard before, but yours does, refreshing, thanks!
Appreciate the comment and thank you very much for checking the video out!
Great review! I like your honest and direct style. No gimmicky buzzword, just honest facts.
I didn’t like the 104 at first, just looked odd to me with the day date. Than I saw it with Arabic numerals and I fell in love! It really is a true pilot watch !
Seriously considering the 104 so your review is very welcome.
Very well presented by the way 👍
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and dropping a comment. It is one of my all time favorite brands and that model specifically.
Great down to earth review my friend. Just ordered mine on a rubber strap. It's my first grail watch. Looking forward to it's imminent arrival. I'm normally used to 42mm watches so I'm hoping it doesn't look too small on my 7.5 inch wrist. Keep up the good work sir.
I love the 104! Congrats on the purchase! I liked it best on a rubber strap as well. It looked a little small at first for me but I really came to enjoy its size. Wear it in good health and thank you for the kind words!
A great review. Feels like you invited me over to your home to talk watches. I agree Sinn watches need longer power reserve. The watch movements they use don't justify the prices anymore after all of the price increases.
Thanks for the kind words! I think a boost in power reserve would be my number one request for Sinn. Cheers!
i disagree. when i was looking for a simple, high quality everyday watch, having an ETA/Sellita movement was a huge selling point for me. being able to service your watch anywhere and for a reasonable price is a great advantage (especially when you are planning to own the watch for decades...who knows if you are going to find spare parts and expertise for like a yema in-house movement in 30years time?). sinn uses top grade, so they basically have chronometer precision.
I found this video to be very fun and interesting. I really like the 104 and it's on my radar. Keep the great videos coming.
Awesome! Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.
Thank you Sir. Nice job. Power reserve not a problem for me. If I had that watch, I'd never take it off
Fair point! :)
Great review!!! Like your style. Love the watch!!!
Thanks for watching
The Sinn 104 is on my list. In fact it might be next!
Based on the vids I’ve watched on your channel, I think you will like it.
Great review! I really like the A version as I am drawn to military style (field) watches. The numerals give it just that military vibe without making it much less 'elegant' than the indices version. I bought a Hamilton Khaki Field as my first automatic watch past summer and vowed this would be only, everyday watch and I would not get drawn into this watch-chasing game. Now I am however really stoked to get a Sinn. I think I should just stop watching watch reviews!
Thanks for watching and the kind words. The Hamilton Khaki Field is awesome! I have a review coming soon on a Hamilton. The watch bug is tough to fight off, welcome to the sickness :)). Merry Christmas.
i got the one with the I indices. really wish I would've gotten the Arabic version. seems to have a lot more charm IMO
I go back and forth on which one I like best :) they are both awesome!
Great Vid, love the photography aspect (always use the skx as ref watch !) , got my 104 Anthracite dial today, lovin it, i though wht you guys on the toob think too
Thanks for watching and the kind words! I love the Anthracite dial. From a strap changing and photography point of view that dial is SUPER versatile! Congrats on the purchase!!
I prefer the sticks over the more rare Arabic dial you have. It really is a great every day. Too bad they keep shooting up in price.
It has me looking at Damasko real hard (like their cases). Cheers.
I’m working at n acquiring a Damasko for comparison as well. Thanks for watching!
Great review, it’s on my short list, along with the Ollech ad Wajs C1000, which you may know ?
The C1000 is a very sharp looking piece. I am aware of them just never owned one.
I’m going to try and see one at a dealership once the virus issue is under control . That said, I keep looking at the Sinn website . The white dial with the dark leather looks fantastic
Nice review on the Sinn 104, I’ve been looking at this for a while for a one watch collection. Looks good value for money. Haven’t been able to try one on as dealers are few and far between here in Australia.
Thank You for watching and for the kind words! I think the Sinn 104 is definitely a strong contender for a one watch collection. I feel your pain on dealers, the only one I know of in North America is Watchbuys.com. Be well I hope you enjoy the upcoming vids I have planned.
One watch is NOT a collection. Owning 1 watch is just owning a watch. Don’t call yourself a collector unless you actually are truly into the hobby. Thanks
Randall K lol. You can be a watch enthusiast, own one watch and enjoy the genre or watches. Does owning one watch make you a collector, no but I’m more interested in being an enthusiast. I have so much to learn and experience and if someone likes watches but for whatever reasons only owns one watch and wants to wear that watch the rest of their lives that is awesome in my opinion.
What kind of rubber strap is that as I have the 104 but isn't fitted to the case as the band you have? Thanks.
Looks nice, dont it?
Just found that someone asked and you stated 3 rd party Amazon. Any other info please. By the way have a lot of watches and this watch is amazing and somehow makes you fall in love with it.
Here is what I used for the strap. 20-22MM Rubber Diver Strap Band Omega SEAMASTER Planet Ocean Clasp Curved#45DP www.amazon.com/dp/B07DHM91G1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ZODFFbFTB34FG
These are Western Arabic numerals, originally from India. The ones the Arabs use are Eastern Arabic numerals.
Trivia of the day.
I learn something everyday!
Hm so a PO fitted strap will fit to the 104 case? This is excellent intel. Do you think a leather strap made for Planet Ocean would work too, or just rubber because it's flexible?
I think rubber due to the ability to “force it” a bit. Although I didn’t have to really force it much, just some finessing:)
@@neverenough_time5362 Thanks! I am not big on rubber straps, but always like a strap or bracelet that mates to the case. Maybe ill try a made for PO leather...
Great Vid! What strap is that?
it a third party rubber strap I found on amazon. it was advertised for an Omega Seamaster Professional. It fit the Sinn with a little patience. I love it.
It's a true statement
Fact check; true :)

Awesome! Welcome the watch love covenant!
What strap do you have on the Oris? I have the same one and I'm looking for an integrated strap.
I found it on ebay. It was an item listed as a strap that would fit a rolex sub. I'll include a link. (I have no knowledge of this seller and am not affiliated in any way.)

@@neverenough_time5362 Awesome! Thanks for the info, I'm going to try it out. Was it easy to install?
@@cruxae Glad I could help, it was easy to install!
Will you give me that Sinn if I buy you dinner?
Please keep the sinn, I will un-friend you so fast.
The Sinn is awesome for sure. I’m looking at acquiring the dive watch...stay tuned
