      Search snacks. Get savvy about what you can have, and order, online or through a co op, things that are mostly ready to eat. TBH, cauliflower rice is VERY quick and easy, so all you need is a companion dish. Coconut aminos can stand in for soy sauce, so stirfry some fresh veggies and/or allowable meat, and you have a quick, easy meal.

      @@kimberlyk2530 Ahh, I hear you on that - I had a very similar period of food aversion when things were bad for me and I lost way too much weight. I found finding 'easy' stuff that I liked helped a lot (sweet potato fries, for me), and as I started building more recipes that weren't too daunting, one at a time, it started feeling a LOT less restrictive. Also, meal prep helped a lot since it's way easier to cook a bunch and freeze it, then not have just piles of dishes every day and having easy food in the freezer when I inevitably get hungry and want to reach for something that's gonna hurt. (Still have a family who can eat pretty 'normal' so we do have food around that I can't have - but we're finding more and more with these good recipes we're finding over time, that the family would rather eat this way (mostly), too, so that's been nice!

    I have my friends bachelorette party coming up. What is your best way to mix the vodka or tequila? Lime, lemons, water etc? Thank you!

      +Taryn Brecklin ooh so fun! I like soda water. You can squeeze lime into it as well for flavour. Have a good time :)

    Can anyone tell me how in the world do I replace my coffees?

    • @MelanieDevaney
      @MelanieDevaney 5 років тому

      I started drinking Teaccino to replace coffee - the mocha flavor has cacao as its first ingredient and barley as its second so it's not exactly AIP friendly, but it's helped me get off the caffeine - another time I did AIP I had vanilla flavored tea and blended it with coconut milk, have also done this with orange blossom tea, which sounds weird, but it's actually really yummy!

    I'm concerned that you can't abstain from alcohol for even six weeks. You might have a problem.
    Alcohol is on the forbidden list. It's not helpful to recommend it.
