That was a PAL thing. The NTSC version included in the Genesis Mini didn't have those issues. And from what I can tell, this release is based on the SGM version. Which is a good thing.

I don't know if there's a cost effective solution for SuperFX chip carts, but I'd also love to see rereleases of X2 and especially X3 considering it's rarity and ludicrous price tag.

This game was never released on cart officially in North America, meanwhile Rockman 2 and Rockman X were common as hell games in which I AM 8Bit wanted over $100 for games that go for what $20 to 30 at most. This is something I can get behind and I will be preordering.
We don't live in Japan, his name is definitely Megaman. Rockman is honestly a pretty stupid name and makes even less sense for a powerful robot than Megaman does.

And they should give the other 4 megamen games because they don’t get enough attention. Reboot Volunt and make a third game to get him off the moon. EXE is the best. A lot of people don’t know how X’s story ended or if it even had an ending. And Starforce was only on DS games which was a crime

It had a limited release via a download-cable service known as the SEGA Channel. After that, no official release came about until the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive Mini released a couple of years ago. This is the first time it is released in a physical cart officially in North America.

You could also grab a Mega SG when they return to stock. It's a REALLY solid FPGA clone console.

Yes, the game is region free and it will output at 50Hz on PAL consoles and 60Hz on NTSC.
