Tony Stark didn't have super powers either, so Sam's suit needs to make up the difference in his lack of powers. He's the new Cap because he's a good man.
Don't forget that Sam has a nearly indestructible, razor sharp shield. Seriously, unless you're Thanos, good luck even denting it. Thor hit it dead center with Mjolnir and the shield didn't even flex. So yeah, you have to be stronger than a God to make it even flex. I also get the feeling that they're making Sam a lot stronger than he, probably, should be. I mean you saw him shrug off the lasers with the shield, right? I'm sorry, but Sam shouldn't be able to do that. I mean, he wouldn't get hurt at all because the shield would protect him. He can just turtle with the shield. But to stand up and force the lasers off? Yeah no. He's not strong enough for that. So I'm guessing either they're going to inject him (God I hope not) or they're just going to say he's stronger than an average human male (this is what I think they're doing with him). Because let's be honest, who actually wants to see a Captain America that can't do Steve Roger Feats?
@@popeye697 True that. It also wouldn't surprise me if his ability to go Supersonic is all Stark Tech. The effect was very similar to the effect shown when Iron Man went Supersonic.
I agree with you but at the same time. It's always funny seeing people use Tony as the example. Natasha is a much better case. She was basically just an extremely well trained human in some kevlar level bodysuits with no helmet. Above most people sure, but nowhere near someone like Steve yet she was involved in basically everything from day one against enemies far beyond normal humans and did just fine mainly through sheer skill. No one ever really questions it either. Sam with vibranium currently has more strength, speed, and durability than she ever did and he can fly. We literally just saw him fly headfirst into a fighter jet and the jet was the one that took damage, then he casually goes supersonic. It'd be nice for him to get the serum sure, but if he never does I think he'll still do just fine with what he has.
Leader! Tim Blake Nelson is back! "Global power is shifting. You're just a pawn." This feels very much like a sequel to Winter Soldier. And that's definitely a good thing.
My personal guess as to why Isaiah Bradley tries to kill Ross is because perhaps Ross was part of the experimentation/torture/confinement that Bradley went through back in the day when they were testing on him. He listens to Ross speak and all he can think about is young Ross making promises and lies and he just snaps.

3:53 My feeling as an (old) comic book reader is that Marvel Studios in phase 4 made the same mistakes from the late 80s/early 90s. After booting out the EIC who led Marvel to its rise in the early 80s, the corporate execs (who stated publicly their contempt for comic books) wanted constant cross-overs, to the point where the individual titles couldn't do much of their own storytelling without tripping over the requirements to the mega-story. That is a way to milk money out of the readers briefly (forcing them to buy multiple titles), but that only lasts as long as the good will from previous books. When their loyalty is destroyed it is hard to get it back. I'm guessing that it is the faceless Disney execs who were going for short-term profits by killing the golden goose. If Feige can find the right writers / directors to get back to the story fundamentals and basics, maybe Marvel movies will capture that magic again.
Feige is the problem. Why don't you guys get it yet? The majority of the Disney board are the problem, the investors are the problem. If you don't fix that stuff, it'll never get better in the long run.
