looks good but the illuvials seem a bit limited in their moves, 2-3 attack technics and repeated all over again, missing some combos, variety of punches, could become dull gameplay after a while

I think the tft battle system is just bad ... you should control the illuvial in real time 3d battle or turn based and belive me it will be much better than tft sytle you click play and just wait that is boring for the AAA game
I agree. It looks like it slowly spins clockwise too the whole time and that could get old. Are there any other terrains that can be explored? Or is it the same rectangular table top? It's like this Battle Royale on a ping pong table.
Haha… people are playing Axie…( chicken 🐔 battle ) and Iluvium that’s far more a real game and real graphic … you need combos.. are you 🙃 joking!!!
@@greg6509 its only spinning like this to show you all angles. it wont constantly spin in the game. There are i believe 7 regions to explore in overworld. This is just the battle board.

You get to control the camera however you want. We just wanted to show all angles in a single uninterrupted shot.

@@compytv8636 theres an open world to explore, find the monsters and collect resources, this is just the battle element

@@compytv8636 no. The only thing you can buy is ILV. Land sale should be this month. There hasn't been any presale, everyone apart from land owners will be starting at the same position (except for a tiny number of people who won competition draws)

Skymavis should be in rush with their land gameplay or other concept to apply into the game. Otherwise, once this game out and they Axie infinity doesnt offer something more, it could be a threat.

Looks cool but where is the HUD? How does the player know what spell, attacks are being cast? Health levels? Seems a bit is missing even for an alpha. Those items should be the first thing that's created for a battle pvp type game like this.
The animation is incredible! Would it be possible to add a health bar so that we can visually see the increase in effectiveness when we upgrade our weapons & armour? It will also allow us to watch in anticipation as to which Illuvial will get taken out next. Having said that, any further improvements on what can already be seen in this video would make this the best NFT Play -to-earn game for 2022. Very well done Team Illuvium!

Auto battle will eventually be the downfall of Illuvium... I hope they realize this. No auto battle game ever got into the top games of their generation, and certainly won't happen now.
Illuvium will shine for some time, but let's after other great games are being released...
