I did laugh at Matt finding those vintage diapers. In Australia we call them nappies. He said these are what people used back in the day. Well remembering my day the nappies were cloth and we actually washed them.😂 💖
I used cloth on my first two and had planned it for my third, but she had cardiac surgery and was on all sorts of meds and special diet, so I had my hands full. I conceded to using Pampers. But I remember using diapers like Matt's when I worked as a nurse in newborn nursery.
Kayla, you've inspired me so much! You've given me the courage to try reselling on eBay myself, and I've sold almost $1500 in 2 weeks. Thank you for being you! ❤️
I love how excited Matt was about those retro pampers. I hope he can 'snap his fingers' and get a high sale price on them. I love watching you two interact. ♥️ I've even gone back to look at old videos. Thank you both for sharing your adventures.
Hi Kayla & Matt - just food for thought … if you buy yourself a vacuum packing machine, you could use it to suck things like pillows/ blankets etc. into way smaller shapes to ship. You can also use it in your kitchen for food storage. I laughed at you guys saying the old Pampers is what people used to have to use on their kids, when, no, we used to have to use square cloth diapers, lol 😂 That bamboo lamp was a green tag! (Or does that only work on clothes?)
I used to live in the Bitteroot Valley in Montana. They have a 50 mile garage sale every June. It goes from Darby (where the show Yellowstone is made) to Lolo. If you ever wanted to go to Montana and drive through mountains and work at the same time, you would love it. Lots of antiques and western items. Just thought I would share for anyone interested.
My sister passed away January 6th and the Clays Mill Goodwill was her favorite, she even worked there for awhile. My favorite was the Meadowthorpe Goodwill that you went to in a recent video, found some great vintage stuff there over the years.
Pet peeve alert, this is from my customers at Penney's, "when you pull hangers, drop them down and take them out the bottom or turn them sideways before bringing them out the top and stretching the neck"
My goodwill in Northeast Ohio outside of Cleveland has started a new discount program if you buy $30 you get five dollars off if you buy $60 you get $10 off and if you spend $90 you get $15 off. Also they’re continuing their 100 points to get an additional five dollars off so you could make $20 discount $190 which isn’t too bad but they should be giving back because they’ve been price gouging every since 2020. Great video as always
If you ever see a purse made from old bright colored phone cords, GRAB IT! They sell for a couple hundred bucks. Pampers was the first company to make disposable diapers. They came out in the 70s and they looked just like the ones you have in your hands. They were fantastic for the first disposable diapers. I remember being 8 years ago and changing my younger sibling's pampers. Baby wipes hadn't even been invited yet. Lol
The diapers made me feel really really old,I remember when disposable diapers came out,I had to use cloth diapers and rubber pants when my daughter was a baby, yes I'm very old.
I had my first child in 1969. My plan was to use cloth diapers because I couldn’t imagine using paper on my baby but the hospital used disposable and sent us home with a box of Pampers. I never looked back. 😊 And yes, you had to use diaper pins to secure them.
The mesh Jansport is a beach bag. I got one for each of mmy kids a few years ago. If you live near salt water may need to give the zippers a touch of WD40 once a season, but they are GREAT for being near sand/water.
OMG!!! Matt, you're looking fabulous. And Kayla, I love your facial expressions when you see a wicker shelf. I'm surprised you don't have a dozen of them at home.
FYI jansport has a lifetime warranty. You can either send them back or take them back to store that sells them and they’ll replace them. No matter the problem
Hello from Michigan! Our Goodwill stores have crazy high prices. I walked in the other day, and women’s sleeveless shirts were $6.99!!!! They are paying their employees more, but I’m not paying those prices!
I don’t even go to my Goodwill. It’s mostly junk. I have only found a couple items ever in goodwill that I’ve resold and it wasn’t in my area. I never even find anything for myself.
Kayla and Matt, those Pampers would be perfect for canal boat liveaboards here in the UK!! They use them to mop up their engine bay! And, I have that same bamboo shelf in my kitchen! Love your videos, both of you 💜
OK in my opinion the lamp with the pick up -- it's definitely mid-century modern and it also is HALF OFF - The tag was green! WISH I live nearby I will be there in a heartbeat!
Kayla, SO GLAD you got the shelfing unit, but I would have HAD TO take the bamboo standing lamp too- even to resell on marketplace! OMG what amazing finds!!🤩
Those mesh Jansport backpacks were made around 1999-2000 forward (post Columbine), when schools wanted to be able to easily see what students were carrying in their backpacks. My kids all had to switch from backpacks made of solid nylon to mesh ones like this.
Pampers came out in the 70's. If I'm remembering correctly, they were $3.99 a box. Grandmom thought that was too expensive so she talked me into using cloth diapers.
Omg I sold a whole bunch of those vintage pampers years ago. My grandmother owned a store near Boston and we found cases of those that sold for $75-$120 back in 2009! Fun fact…adult “babies” use them 😳
Thanks to you guys I started checking out pillows when I’m out thrifting and I just found a pair of Pier 1 Import gray beaded reindeer pillows that still had the tags inside the zipper and they originally sold for $39.95 each! They still look brand new too so I’m excited to get them listed! Thank you again, I always seem to learn something new from you two!!
Love the vintage disposable diapers. I was born in 1954 and had severe allergies. My mom had to use these exact type of diapers for me. No sticky tape. She had to use safety pins.
You guys never disappoint. Is Matt in KY full time now? Sorry I’m nosy. When I say my prayers every night I pray for a man that will work this with me. I’m so happy for both of you. I just hate that you live on opposite sides of the US.
Talked to a manager at my local Goodwill and asked about what they send off to Goodwill e-commerce. I was told any and all sports cards get sent off. Any antique items with value over $20 go to e-commerce. Any gold, silver or platinum jewelry goes. All computers and tablets. The banger …. ALL VINTAGE CONCERT TSHIRTS get sent out!!! Thanks to hearing all that I will likely stop going daily and only go once a week.
I got excited when ,liners came out to put in the Terry towelling nappies! Over the years if my having babies I went through from Terry nappies to disposable nappies. Those days of pegging out Bright White nappies gone, but, I did miss the challenge of keeping them White with my old Burco boiler…
Kayla, love your content I learn so much. Example you had a video on finding saladmaster someone was selling a huge box of it on facebook marketplace for 25 bucks!!!! I grabbed it so fast lol. Keep up the great content and the education.
The Pampers are from 1973, my first daughter was born and the diapers cost 1.00, for the box, but I had to use pins to keep the disposables on the baby, I live in Pa, 40 miles from Philadelphia, It is so unbelievable how this stuff is still around
Our Goodwill has higher prices and the stuff is not even anything that special. I very seldom go into ours anymore. I was told about two in area north of us. We went to one of them and the only thing I really liked was a candle holder. It’s prices had gone up. I’m glad you two are finding some sellable pieces. 😊❤
OMG....I had the doll with the chopped hair in blonde. She is from the 70's. I wish I still had mine. Too funny, because I was searching for one on the internet the other day. They are very hard to find and are very pricey. Too bad her hair was a mess. Love you guys!
OC try spraying with the pink stuff and it will clean them up! Ok another add on I worked in a furniture business for 16 years and when the chairs were warped we would put our knee on chair and twist opposite of the warp! (Like popping your back)😜
Hi Kayla and Matt another great video today 😅 When I had my first son i had to use cloth diapers. In 1970 as a divorced mother those diapers would have been a luxury 😀 thanks again for another great video!!❤ Blessings your friend Joyce from California HUGS 🫂 🤗 ❤️
I did laugh at Matt finding those vintage diapers. In Australia we call them nappies. He said these are what people used back in the day. Well remembering my day the nappies were cloth and we actually washed them.😂 💖
Nappies in the UK too

FYI: People use old ashtrays as paint brush holders.
I was just going to post the same info!
Great idea
Ashtrays are good for the patio for outdoor smokers. Personally I wouldn't encourage it, but some people don't mind.
Or use to put jewelry in, near a bathroom sink.
I put all my treasure that I find detecting in one, silver coins, rings, and pendants.
I found one of those ash trays when cleaning put my Mom's house, it was my Granmothers and it's orange. So cool/retro
Definitely from the '50's. I remember them well.
I love how excited Matt was about those retro pampers. I hope he can 'snap his fingers' and get a high sale price on them.
I love watching you two interact. ♥️ I've even gone back to look at old videos.
Thank you both for sharing your adventures.
Yeah I’m super curious what they get for those pampers, please share!!
There are tabs on the diaper which sticks to the diaper. Can not use pins. 😂
Can't wait for next shop just lv watching both of you 💐💐
THE BEST PART OF MONDAY IS YOUR VIDEOS. THANK YOU
Totally agree! ( :
A friend of mine found boxes of Pampers at a flea market, and made hundreds of dollars on them. They are definitely sought after.
Hi Kayla & Matt - just food for thought … if you buy yourself a vacuum packing machine, you could use it to suck things like pillows/ blankets etc. into way smaller shapes to ship. You can also use it in your kitchen for food storage.

That bamboo lamp was a green tag! (Or does that only work on clothes?)
The diaper conversation.... 😂😂😂😂
They are young.
I used a giant safety pin to fastener the diaper.
@@kulecter99 How well I remember. 😊

Matt is the chiropractor of Wicker furniture 😂 12:00
I’m 52 years old and I remember my Dad using that exact same ashtray in the house.
Pet peeve alert, this is from my customers at Penney's, "when you pull hangers, drop them down and take them out the bottom or turn them sideways before bringing them out the top and stretching the neck"

The diapers without the tape has to be at least 53 years old!! I looked it up and pampers started putting the adhesive tape in 1971
I was going to say, my son was born in 1973 and I don't remember Pampers without tape. Never knew that they made those!
Love watching you two. You really complement each other so well.
The concept of people collecting old diapers boggles my mind! But good BOLO! :)
@@hjördis4yes, very good call.
I was thinking the same... 🥴😆
The diapers made me feel really really old,I remember when disposable diapers came out,I had to use cloth diapers and rubber pants when my daughter was a baby, yes I'm very old.
those pampers really leaked, my oldest used (he is 51) a boy and he would shoot out the side!
When you left the "funky" jacket behind @4:49 I died. I guarantee that would've gone for some good money! Nice finds today!
I need that boomerang ashtray for my Airstream. Use it as a spoon rest. Folks shopping for movie sets go nuts for the Pampers & "such". Great finds !
I had my first child in 1969. My plan was to use cloth diapers because I couldn’t imagine using paper on my baby but the hospital used disposable and sent us home with a box of Pampers. I never looked back. 😊 And yes, you had to use diaper pins to secure them.
0😅
The turquoise ashtray is also Mid Century Modern & you could probably get more by including that in your listing. Love y'all 's videos always 😅😅
I watched Matt's episode with Jack at yard sales. He's such a cool kiddo!
The mesh Jansport is a beach bag. I got one for each of mmy kids a few years ago. If you live near salt water may need to give the zippers a touch of WD40 once a season, but they are GREAT for being near sand/water.
You two are so sweet, you always ask each others opinions and laugh ❤
It was better without the fat lad, who thinks everything is COOL!!!!!!!
I love the way you treat each other so kindly!! Great example for others!!
That jean jacket was bedazzled
Thanks for sharing. You two are the favorites, enjoy every video. Let's go yard sales.
OMG!!! Matt, you're looking fabulous. And Kayla, I love your facial expressions when you see a wicker shelf. I'm surprised you don't have a dozen of them at home.
Love watching your thrifted finds,Matt your such a kind sweetie'.my those vintage papers 😮
Kayla, I loved the happy dance! Great finds again.
FYI jansport has a lifetime warranty. You can either send them back or take them back to store that sells them and they’ll replace them. No matter the problem
Love wicker!! Just found 5 beautiful rattan chairs for 100 and sold them for 900
I remember those Pampers from 1975 when I had my first baby. You two are great❤👍
I was thinking 1972ish….i remember them from when my brother was a baby.
Remember the Pampers. Son born in 1975. Didn't work for little boys. Went back to cloth. Lol.
I'm screaming at the TV! You are not watching for the green tags!!! The purses that you left had green tags!
a couple did
That Dooney bag was a GREEN tag. $20 at 1/2 off was probably a buy if condition was correct.
The Jansport backpack has a lifetime guarantee. Broken zipper, tears in them or rips, send back and the send you a new one!
You could use that ashtray to hold your crafty paintbrush’s while painting!
Hello from Michigan! Our Goodwill stores have crazy high prices. I walked in the other day, and women’s sleeveless shirts were $6.99!!!! They are paying their employees more, but I’m not paying those prices!
You can find brand new shirts on the clearance racks less then goodwill is selling them for.😊
I love the”Snap your fingers”…….😍😍
I love waking up Monday and here you guys are with a new video. Starts my week out happy
That was a nice vintage ashtray. A very good find.
Matt zoning on the punch needle pillow..good find. Western shirt ..on point.
I use to push my cousins around in a diaper box in the 80s lol😂. It was like their own little car. The boxes were more rectangle than yours.
The prices I’m seeing at Goodwill lately are pretty ridiculous!
Meaning to high or to low?
Too high!
Too high
Here in NJ as well!
I don’t even go to my Goodwill. It’s mostly junk. I have only found a couple items ever in goodwill that I’ve resold and it wasn’t in my area. I never even find anything for myself.

Kayla, SO GLAD you got the shelfing unit, but I would have HAD TO take the bamboo standing lamp too- even to resell on marketplace! OMG what amazing finds!!🤩
I always pick up the SAS bags. All 100% leather grain and handmade. And yes made in the USA.....specially San Antonio Tx😊
Y’all are soo good together! God always has a plan for us all!
Those mesh Jansport backpacks were made around 1999-2000 forward (post Columbine), when schools wanted to be able to easily see what students were carrying in their backpacks. My kids all had to switch from backpacks made of solid nylon to mesh ones like this.
I just love seeing y’all together!!
Idk, that frizzy frizzle tassels, pretty special!😂😂😂
FYI - Pillow technique at beginning is called "Needle Punch" not "Punch Needle"
I notice Matt may be a little dyslexic. Have caught a few things like that.
Pampers came out in the 70's. If I'm remembering correctly, they were $3.99 a box. Grandmom thought that was too expensive so she talked me into using cloth diapers.
Great haul guys ,can’t believe those box of pampers so old , good luck 😊😊xx❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌺🦋🌺🦋🙏
we had an ashtray just like that and plus an orange one, enjoy your channel,
The diapers were really cool.
The wicker stand is beautiful

No wonder all our Goodwill's have is junk... literally
That's why those are found at Goodwill bins quite often. It's so sad.
Great finds guys. I’ve got to say Goodwill needs to come down on some other prices. Seems like I just keep going up.🥰
I got excited when ,liners came out to put in the Terry towelling nappies! Over the years if my having babies I went through from Terry nappies to disposable nappies. Those days of pegging out Bright White nappies gone, but, I did miss the challenge of keeping them White with my old Burco boiler…
So inspiring here in NC❤😊❤ Kayla you’re wearing your turquoise ring 😊 love it
Our prices down in So Tx at all the thrift stores are outrageous!
It's getting ridiculous what they want at thrift stores now
Whooooo it's my favorite couple 😊 love watching you both work together 😊 it's going to be a great video to watch 😊
Old stock is sometimes bought for movies/props. Very cool.
I love that shelf! What a good find 😍
Kayla, love your content I learn so much. Example you had a video on finding saladmaster someone was selling a huge box of it on facebook marketplace for 25 bucks!!!! I grabbed it so fast lol. Keep up the great content and the education.

Kayla love your outfit!!!
Great finds. Y'all my favorite to watch!
"frizzie frizzle" 🤣🤣🤣 Oh gosh Matt, you crack me up!!! 😉
My Dad has soooooo many Harley and Easy Rider T's in great shape and from early 2000's and up. I need to raid his drawers and closet!
You make a great team 🎉
The whicker shelf unit was everywhere in the 70’s. It’s funny how you react to things that where normal in my life at your age.
The Pampers are from 1973, my first daughter was born and the diapers cost 1.00, for the box, but I had to use pins to keep the disposables on the baby,
I live in Pa, 40 miles from Philadelphia,

Baby Crissy!! I had her in brown! Her hair could be short or a long ponytail but i cut the hair on mine too!! 😂
The golf shirt looked like he got caught up in the bicycle chain! Ya'll are amazing!
I love that wicker shelf ......reminds me of Three's Company ahahah
That cowboy shirt has to be a oldie😂 being from Texas I’ve definitely seen those wore at the honkie tonks 😂😂 love the video ❤❤❤❤
oooooo ooooooo ooooooooo thats what matt says everytime she finds something cool
That ashtray is super cool. I remember those in my grandparents house. You can use it for your rings :)
OC try spraying with the pink stuff and it will clean them up! Ok another add on I worked in a furniture business for 16 years and when the chairs were warped we would put our knee on chair and twist opposite of the warp! (Like popping your back)😜
Love Mondays because you have videos!
I remember the first pampers. My mom used them for my baby sister. They were horrible!!we only used them when we went on vacation-camping!
The wicker shelf is beautiful and at a awesome price!
Good Luck guys! I hope you get some great finds! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
LOVE That Wicker Shelf !!! & The old Pampers. I worked for and retired at Proctor & Gamble. And I sold Millions of Pampers over the years.
I had a wicker shelf exactly like that 30 yrs ago. I rescued it from the local tipI loved it. Glad to see they are back in fashion.
