My jaw dropped when you said Jackie O style! Are you an amazing looking 60 year old or are you schooling yourself on vintage? You know label changes, old school brands and terminology that just goes with the experience of age...how do you know these things!? Honestly, this puts you on a whole other level of reseller. I'm super impressed. And as a 60 year old myself, I am enjoying hearing about newer brands. You're helping me keep my wardrobe from getting dated. Thanks Ashley!!
I rarely comment on anything, but always watch your youtube videos. I have learned so much from you & love that you continue to give updates/examples of your listing process. You are one of my favorite youtubers. Thanks for always being helpful & keeping it real!
When my boys hit 18 years old (they are now 33, 34 & 35) I bought them a Pendleton wool blanket as one of the Christmas presents every year for about 10 years. They didn’t really understand their value at the time, but they do now & they absolutely love them (so do their wives). I figured they would always have a nice blanket collection, but if they decide one day they don’t want them, they can sell them or pass them down. Anyway, great video! Thanks!
I just want to say that I have learned a ton from watching your videos these last couple days. I usually sell more homeware items but want to broaden my demographic. Thank you for posting your finds and explaining about the brands, textures, etc. I never would've thought clothing resales could bring so much until I sold a jacket for $60 that my son picked up by accident at Goodwill. That definitely piqued my interest!
This was so exciting to see! I recently found a Loro Piana Sweater at the thrift and I got to relive that moment all over again watching this. Love your videos thank you!
Thank you for sharing your magnificent finds in the wild. It pays to look in all categories at GW and different locations. Thanks TJ for holding down the fort at home so Ashley can find amazing items.
I love Loro Piana because thrift stores have no clue. I found one of their storm jackets with a few holes in the cashmere lining and still sold it for $500.
Hi! Lori Tata gave you a shout out and that's how I found you. I really enjoy your videos! Your tips are so helpful, and I just plain love your energy! hahaha. Keep on thrifttin!
Goodwill prices in my area are more expensive than ebay! Some are more than the original retail! I need to come on a shopping vacation to your area😉. I'm not a reseller I just used to love getting a cart full of affordable fun outfits. Now I watch you for the thrifty dopamine hits😂.
I can’t thrift clothes for resale anymore. $7.99 for LOFT $9.99 for j. Crew outlets $15.99 for a north face pullover…you get my point. It’s sad. I can’t even shop for myself anymore.
that's what I was saying. Goodwill is way too high! your saying $7 for dresses no no no , My Goodwill 14.99. So this isnt realistic at all. I do like watching your channel but I just do not get where you see these prices
Same! I live in NYC. When did Goodwill become a consignment store? Crazy! I don't have time to resell anymore anyway. It was never my FT job but good extra side hustle. Once in a while I still see something great priced really low but that's rare. Usually it's for an under the radar brand or someone just didn't bother to Google the brand. I'm okay with that! Save the goodies for me! Lol
I think you are amazing Ashley, superwoman! I sell full time on ebay, have a store just like yours. Its soooo time consuming, I have no idea how you do it with young kids. My kids are teenagers and pretty much look after themselves now which allows me to do this full time now after years of part time when they were younger. Hats off to you girls, you are doing a great job x
Hey Ash! Thanks for another fun video! I don't think I'm in the minority saying that your thought process and strategies are really interesting and helpful. Definitely not a tangent, really appreciate hearing how you go about your business! Thanks
I can understand why people dislike the dub. Personally I think the dub VAs do a fantastic job. Sub nails it as well. But when I do rewatches I typically stick with dub. Glad you all are enjoying the show!
I wish we has goodwills like this in Canada. My local one has very little in the way of high end clothing or furniture. My lock store also looks a little grubby
I recently found a Loro Piana 100% Cashmere Sweater for $1.00. I heard the brand from Jack and Ryan. I felt so lucky and happy. It was excellent condition. I think it's a men's sweater.
Free fly is one of my favorite brands to sell, they always sell within the same week of listing, and usually, $30+ ☺️ their iteams are usually made of bamboo, so they are super soft and breathable.
My goodwill would have those Boden dress priced at $50 LOL... you have a crazy good Goodwill. I cannot even believe you are finding those brands/names at the Goodwill. I thought they shipped that stuff to the online auction.
You are absolutely doing a fantastic work on pictures. I love the colors you chose and the brands. Keep up the amazing work you do. You can only do what you can do don’t stress yourself! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Yay!! All of my Boden thrift finds from this Goodwill haul have already sold for $30-50 - so new Boden is definitely something I'll keep looking out for!
Ashley every time you share a brand I'm ALWAYS LIKE I HAVE TO FIND THIS😂 (magnolia pearl is next) thanks for the intro to these new to me brands!!❤❤❤ Great Haul! I'm like a hawk looking to eat all these brands😂😂😂
I do most of my stuff on my wood floor in natural light and it works great! Only tricky colors are purple/gray/blues because my oak floors pick up so much warmth...I have to take those up to my bathroom where there is gray laminate 🙃
I'm just saying, always always list things in every season... I'm in Florida and I always buy new bathing suits in the "winter" so I get a good deal on it lol
I was just in SLC last week, and went to the bins and a few thrift stores, and I just have to say, you are a magician to find all of the stuff that you do. I experienced a lot of very picked over bins and not much in the thrift to pick up.
That Pendleton sweater was so good! Sad that someone washed it incorrectly 😭 I have the blanket you popped up to show the comps on. I got it in a big textile bundle I got for $10 😳 I intended on selling it but accidentally fell in love and had to keep it. Oops! I’m always so happy when I see you put out a new video!
Come shopping with me in California! Prices aren't as low exactly, but there's nearly always a designer find or two each trip, so its worth it. I've been thrifting and reselling for 18+ years and LOVE it so much. Come visit - it could be a business expense! ❤️
For future reference (coming from a USN sailor) That "Anchor Jacket" is apart of a female United States Navy Dress Blues Uniform (2nd class), the skirt would have probably been there too. They may be cute but they are not comfortable! A lot of sailors on my ship bought them secondhand so I would encourage you to pick them up. I have no clue what they sell for now, but twenty years ago when I was enlisted they went for about 250.00 new.
Hi suggestion for photographing. If you need a different color/pattern backdrop to make product look great try an window shade. Installed high on wall, raise when you want white wall or lower for a pattern, like bamboo or whatever you find at the thrift
Talking about picture perfect. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to return clothing from Amazon because it looked amazing on the model and / or the pictures themselves. Glad to hear your advice, I've been thinking about selling on ebay but I can't invest all that money into supplies right now. I'm currently looking into information about ebay selling. I'm confused on a few of the subjects.
I just recently discovered your videos. I absolutely love them love. I’m an older lady (57!), I’m just starting to do some reselling. You’ve taught me so much and you have such a great personality that is positive and fun. What state are you in?! They have awesome prices there. I’m in Minnesota and our Goodwill jacks up their prices. I’m so looking forward to watching more videos 😊.
Hi, I never comment on YT but I have to say thank you SO much for your videos. You changed my life and taught me so much over the years. I found you when I was laid off during covid and desperately trying to learn how to resell my families items to help cover bills and keep our home during a really hard financial time. I loathe wasting & fast fashion and have always been a thrifter (reluctantly from childhood, aka way before it was cool lol), so reselling was a perfect fit. It’s been a casual thing on PM and FB Mkt for the last few years, but I’m finally getting started on eBay. I love your photography tips at the end of this video, do you happen to have a getting started on eBay or more tips videos? I have watched these from a lot of other resellers but no one resonates with me as much as you do (and you’re never annoying, which to be frank - is rare on YT lol) I appreciate any feedback and as always - thank you for being you and for sharing so many great videos ❤ aloha, Sarah
100% agree with photographing white products - luckily I painted all my doors black last year so I always photograph white clothing on the black door & everything else against the white walls
Love your videos! Great haul holy crow!! That’s like a dream haul! For your eBay do you send out offers as soon as possible? My girls is 5 k a month too! I feel so inspired omg
I like the wood!! I don't think it always has to be white like most people do; as long as its a clean, symmetrical background that doesn't distract, i say 👍
Such good finds - and I loved seeing your photo setups. I'm trying to get where I can raise my ebay monthly, and I always wondered a VA would help, but I have control issues. Seems like it's how I thought and the time to review is about the same time as it takes to list it myself! Thanks for another great video.
I need you to come spend like a week in my town, not even to just shop, but to send your lucky price vibes at our thrift stores. I never see these kinds of prices, but even at Goodwill. I honestly see empty lidless RAO sauce jars for purchase at the goodwill here for $4. I also saw an empty container of Pub Mix (label still on it) at the Salvation Army. Like, what?? Please help us, Ashley!
That dress form is such a great idea! I think, after seeing how great that Boden dress looked on yours that I will be investing in one. I sell a lot of dresses, but I think they would sell better & faster if I used the form. I’m wondering if there was some kind of deal with Boden online because I too found a lot of Boden (many new label) at the thrift all together on a new rack. Makes me want to go check for more! 😂 Thanks for another great video! ( I always look forward to seeing them!)

If you're willing to put in a little effort, there are ways to stretch out 100% wool sweaters that have been shrunk. You can probably find some videos on here showing how to fix them. Love that Pendleton sweater you found!
hola!!! me encantan tus videos!!! patagonia es una marca Argentina que hace referencia a un sector del sur de mi pais Argentina, es excelente la calidad ya que en ese sector hace mucho frio! mucha suerte!
I found a pair of Loro Piana shorts for my mom to sell. Retail $600+, sold for $115 overnight basically. Some were sold for $150 but she wanted a quick sale!
Out all of all the dresses . I could only see selling the Jessica McClintock dress. I am not sure what Goodwill you go to but I do not go there anymore because the prices are the same as retail like Ross. So I do not go anymore
How would they know it’s the floor? I photograph on my floor too 😂 the sun comes through my sliding glass door so I get good photos and crop so you can’t tell it’s the floor. Easy to use my yard stick for measurements
Who told you that? A fellow reseller? I don't have time to do eBay or Poshmark anymore but I was active for about a decade and always photographed on the floor, hardwood and tiled. Never had trouble selling. Even high end items. If I was doing this FT I'd probably invest in a nicer backdrop and just lay it on the floor so it looks nicer I guess... But I honestly have no space for additional props and things.
@@SL-lz9jr a large mom group that I’m in was discussing it, and the majority said they wouldn’t purchase something that was photographed on the floor. I agree with you though that it doesn’t seem to be affecting sales numbers, and it’s definitely easier than having a huge setup. I like putting a backdrop on the floor personally.
I found a pair of Golden Goose Trainers this week. I have never found them. They fit me so I am torn. Not my style but I may keep them. $600 sneakers....🎉Yay!
My local goodwill tags any good brand “boutique” like Lulu, Patagonia, even Levi’s jeans and marks them up. It sucks! Patagonia for $18 and jeans for $12. Regular prices at my goodwill can be $5-8 for a top 😢 I do find some good stuff especially on the new racks though!
The first 100 people to use my code HAHM40 will get 40% off their first order of Hungryroot bit.ly/4bNImIo !!
I would love to see a video of what sold and how you shipped them
My jaw dropped when you said Jackie O style!
Well this is just about the kindest comment I could get!! Thank you!!
I’m 58 a little too young to remember the Jackie O style of clothing but I have seen photos and videos. She always a stylish lady.
I rarely comment on anything, but always watch your youtube videos. I have learned so much from you & love that you continue to give updates/examples of your listing process. You are one of my favorite youtubers. Thanks for always being helpful & keeping it real!
Girl!!! Your Goodwill is AMAZING!!!!! So many awesome finds!!! Thank you for sharing tips and fashion advice! I am learning so much!! 👏🏼👏🏼

So thrilled when I saw you found all those excellent pieces. Oh by the way huge fan of the littlest of your kiddos ❤
Just amazing! Congratulations on your latest GW haul! I enjoy your videos so very much!
Thank you. I loved this video, especially the helpful hints at the end. ❤
Hi! Lori Tata gave you a shout out and that's how I found you. I really enjoy your videos! Your tips are so helpful, and I just plain love your energy! hahaha. Keep on thrifttin!
Appreciate your tips! One for you is to use a yard stick. I always struggled with the tape measure laying flat. Yard stick helps. :-)
Ashley !!! Thanks for taking us along! I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!!
Great haul, and really good tips on photos and how to get the most of your items
Thank you for sharing your point of view. Keep doing you! 😊

You are glowing today Ashley! good vid.
I really love this young lady and her work ethic. Well done. 😊
Thank you for saying "young" haha! I appreciate your kind comment so much!
One word: INSANE!! Well done Ashley...incredible finds!
I learned Loro Piana today! I’ve never heard of that name even though I love Italian brands❤. Thanks 🙏 It’s like home schooling for me😂
That Goodwill was Insane! Wish we had similar in Australia. Also.... how on earth do you look so fresh in a 101 temp - kudos 2 U !

Hi Ashley! What amazing finds!! I found a nwt newer style Boden. It sat for a bit, but finally sold international this week. Have an amazing day! ❤
Yay!! All of my Boden thrift finds from this Goodwill haul have already sold for $30-50 - so new Boden is definitely something I'll keep looking out for!
Thank you for all the Great tips….. Love it 😊

I'm manifesting Magnolia Pearl for you!! You will find it one day! 😆
Awesome haul as always! Also, thank you so much for the hungryroot code. I get my first delivery on Monday. I’m so excited. Thank you again!😘
Yay! We have LOVED using it - delicious, healthy and so convenient. Honestly a dream haha!
Congrats on 300 😊

Love this!! I'm cleaning and going through my death pile this weekend!! It's funny things that you think too wouldn't sell...sell for a lot or quick.
I think it's such a cool flex to know you have a one-of-a-kind Pendleton blanket that you got for $10!! I would probably keep it, too!

My aunt was in the very first Waves class in Pensacola, Florida. I have her training Manual they used to teach the guys how to navigate by the stars.
You hit a dress jackpot 🥰
I love selling dresses. They’re my favorite!
I have white, black, and grey fleece blankets so I can change based on colors. I just don't have nice floors lol.
Love your videos! Great haul holy crow!! That’s like a dream haul! For your eBay do you send out offers as soon as possible? My girls is 5 k a month too! I feel so inspired omg
I enjoyed the video, thank you!!
Thanks for the addt photo tips! 🙏🏻
FUNN VIDEO!! Great Info!!🎉💕
I like the wood!! I don't think it always has to be white like most people do; as long as its a clean, symmetrical background that doesn't distract, i say 👍
You have soo much knowledge!👍
What a great haul. Thanks for sharing. Do you sell on Poshmark?
Thanks for the video-awesome finds!
The Martian is so good! I loved it.
Loved the Gilmore Girls clip!
Such good finds - and I loved seeing your photo setups. I'm trying to get where I can raise my ebay monthly, and I always wondered a VA would help, but I have control issues. Seems like it's how I thought and the time to review is about the same time as it takes to list it myself! Thanks for another great video.
Your makeup looks beautiful 😍
Thank you for the great tips!
Anything with original tags at our thrift stores automatically means it’s going to sell for $20 more than the original tag says. 🙄
Thanks for another great video! ( I always look forward to seeing them!)
Turned out to be a good day for thrifting 😊
On the Pendleton sweater at 9:05. why don't you "unshrink" it? Wash in cold, get it out of the washer then stretch it in different directions and voila, the sweater is now "unshrunk". Hang it on the plastic bar in the bathtub.
Loving watching this!! where are you located? Because my Goodwill is so much more
If you're willing to put in a little effort, there are ways to stretch out 100% wool sweaters that have been shrunk. You can probably find some videos on here showing how to fix them. Love that Pendleton sweater you found!
Thxs to this kind of videos a lot of thrift Stores are changing pretty high on the items, very difficult to make a profit reselling 😢
Blicks has a large-format light gray board. I sell vintage decor, and all the colors pop out very nicely.
12:35 Ive been known to price low to try and quick sell. Then get irritated and jack the price up and it typically sells😂
