Goodwill is so expenseive in Los Angeles that its almost the same as new retail. Ross is cheaper.
It’s getting expensive in NC too. I feel like videos like this is why. They realized they could make more money, upped the prices, took the bags away from us, and they get all their product for FREE. It makes me crazy.

Okay I’m gonna give you a little tip on when things are “customized” if it’s embroidery a lot of times you can take a SEAM RIPPER you can find it at Walmart easily and use that to remove the embroidery. You do have to be careful but literally it’s so so much easier than using scissors to remove! My grandparents have done embroidery for many many years so I know a thing or two about tips and tricks for that. 😉
My grandmother gave me a Lanz of Salzburg nightgown every year for Christmas. I hated them. Who knew I should have kept them!
I'm all for hitting garage sales and such and flipping, but flippers are absolutely ruining Goodwill. People don't donate items so suburban housewives can make some spending money. Single moms and others rely on being able to find reasonably priced items.
I would have more sympathy for that stance had I not been in a huge warehouse complex that was being refilled constantly by the rejections of all the local thrift stores in Houston. Housewives have gone through it and rejected it mostly by the time resellers even look at it. There are plenty of things for everybody locally and more than even the poorest nations in other parts of the world can take on.
The step before it goes to that warehouse or a dumpster is a bin situation . As a reseller, I have found amazing things in the bins that were priced super cheap and nobody ever picked up. It is foolish to expect resellers not go to the thrift stores when they are probably among the best supporters of the charities that run them.
Get your azz up off the couch and buy it first then.
Anyone else want to find the person or people that made Ashley think she’s not enough and…”talk” to them? Girl, PLEASE know we come to watch YOU. We LOVE seeing your hubby and you two interacting together OF COURSE, but we click super fast on videos because it’s YOU. You are not just enough, you’re more than that. And being a one woman show? AMAZING!!!! It’s soooo hard and exhausting and so many of us relate to that, that’s makes us love watching you more. We are just trying to catch a glimpse at how you do it!! We know you’re not doing it all, or completely alone because you do have TJ also parenting, but you’re doing it. YOU ARE DOING IT and we, strangers on the internet, are so proud of what you are doing and achieving and teaching your kids AND us. Anyone that tries to say otherwise can step on tiny legos bare footed. 😊

I have picked up items that have custom company embroidery on them & they still sell, at least for me. I found a RLX quarter zip up for $4 with custom embroidery on it for a golf course & I sold it the next day at my asking price of $55 so it may be worth a shot, especially if it is new with tags!😉

Wow,huge difference in pricing there compared to Oregon stores. Maybe having the DI thrift stores as competition helps. I'd fall all over myself to see $7 and $5 dollar price tags at our local Goodwill stores, rather than the $12 to $14 we see. I avoid Goodwill here because I can purchase new clothing for less by shopping Costco or local markdown stores.
If I ever visit Utah again I'll definitely check out your Goodwill stores. I wish I'd known about this when I used to live there.
Oh yes, in the Minneapolis St. Paul area Minnetonka everything is higher priced at the Goodwill. I usually just go to the other thrift stores try to find something for myself, but I always look for one thing to resell to put it back in the universe 🪐 and recycle ♻️ it.

We have so many Dixxon flannels in our house. My husband always buys 2 of each that he has. So he has a large tote overflowing with new in package flannels. Lol!

Anyone know where she is located because you actually have to live in a rich area to find all of these name brand clothes at goodwill. Here in the south, the goodwill is filled with Walmart and target clothes.
I shop thrift for me, not for resale, but recently found a lovely brand new Beauville tablecloth. Never used! So expensive, but my GW had it for $2.99! Also, if you come across the Manna tumblers (double walled aluminum) resale is about $25, found a couple for $3.99. They really keep beverages cold, and you can always get new straws.
I have been devouring all of your videos and learning so much! I found a pair of Betabrand pants today on my thrift store’s sale day! And then I found another pair and I caught myself saying “two and it’s true” 😂

Speaking of Kuiu! Only found it twice, the first time it sold quick for $60 and the 2nd time I found it it was NWT! Had some lowball offers so far but I have it listed for $100 so hopefully it’ll sell for a good profit. Its still listed on their website for $130 I think

I’m a sucker for buying Starbucks mugs but never sell them for much unless it’s a state or country series that’s a bit older. Thought I might sell them as a lot just to unload? Trying to get away from hardgoods as the P.O. has been especially brutal on my packages no matter how I carefully ship.
