That would be amazing wouldn’t it. But such a lot of work for these cuties. I would just love to look around the sales more especially as the things they find are no existent in the UK. So interesting, even when you don’t buy it. X
Agreed. Considering how loaded the place was with vintage items, I would have found a way to prop up that patio roof in order to search the rest of the storage totes. What was in the metal case blocking the cabinet door at the beginning - maybe a sewing machine? Seems like they just brushed the surface given the almost 20x resale return expected?
I help set estate sales. The things we find range from stuff that may be 200 years old to dozens of totes of brand new clothes. I found hand written letters from WW2 written in the most beautiful script ever, which was donated to a local museum. I also uncovered a steamer trunk that was wrapped in a huge ratty quilt. Inside were 2 hand stitched family tree quilts that was dated 1887. The family had no idea it was IN THE SHED!! the trunk apprased at about $900 but they were told to insure the quilt for $20,000!
I had letters from my great grandmother. They were written in German. As a teen I got rid of them. I am so sad I did not donate them even if it was to a high school German class. If I had them now they would have been at least 160 years old.
I have to tell you, Kayla, when you hold up shoes it makes me laugh. In the last video I watched when you guys were in Goodwill, you were holding up a pair of men's size 11 shoes which is my husband's size and I'm a very tall/big woman so when I'm buying shoes for hubby they don't seen odd in my hands, but seeing you holding them up, I cracked up! It looked like you were holding up the Friendly Giants shoes.❤
Absolutely love both of your channels! You're the best at finding amazing things!! I truly respect you for keeping your voices low. Its really irritating when your in a public place and someone has there phone on speaker and they are loudly having a conversation. 😉 Keep up the great work Kayla and Matt! ❤️💙
I just started watching your channel as of 03/21/24 I watched all that day. I just can not get enough of the both of you. You both are so cute together. I love the joy and happyness you both share with one another. Including how you work together on looking and making purchases. You both are just the best and make me on a better mood. Your daughters cute too.
I'm surprised you didn't buy the wicker seashell purse, those are going for between $75 -$100 used right now. I love your videos, thanks for the content.
This has to be one of my favorite videos you've done. I could have watched you guys digging through that estate sale for another 30 minutes, at least! Have a wonderful week, you guys. I really love watching both of your channels and have never missed one since the two of you got together.
I live to dig! So much fun! I literally have very vivid dreams of me digging in an estate. I can remember everything I was finding when I wake up. Been doing this for 30 years and still get so excited! Do what you love and love what you do!
Driving me crazy... the whole time you were in that little room (where Matt was handing you the purses from the other side of the room), I kept saying out loud, to the screen; " turn around, on that shelf there is a pale green/aqua Haeger or Roseville pottery vase with handles!!!" 8:25, 8:43, 9:15.. right behind Kayla's right arm & shoulder. LOL I love this video, wish it were longer.
I somehow missed this video for a year. I took a screenshot of your Scottish boxes so I could see what they really are and your ad came up in Malaysian dollars. I've never seen anything like that before. Very cool!
This was a gold mind. You found a lot of really cool items. It's great you do this. Not only do you make a living off of it. You save amazing things that would probably end up in a land fill. What a sweet couple you are. Happy Valentine's Day. I also wish your videos were longer
I truly prefer the “dig” sales more than set up estate sales. It’s more fun finding “buried treasure “ and the prices are usually better with the pile pricing. That was a great sale.
😅Matt you made my day, especially after the day I had, really really mashed my right hand on my caravan door trunk, yesss, OUCH!!! THANKS YALL FOR ALL YOUR VIDEOS, I can't get enough of you both, God bless 🙏 ❤️ and I hope YALL had an amazing bless valentines 💖 ❤️
U two just keep better & better together!! I just watched the closed estate sale! I love how you both get so excited!! Keep up the great work & videos I look forward to every one y'all do. Stay safe
I bought a butterfly art tray with wood inlays at a garage sale for $8 worth at least $175 it’s in pristine condition and art deco the man who sold it too me bought it in Germany around 1942 when he was stationed there
Absolutely a wonderful estate sale as always Kayla & Matt. I thought she was going to pick up that straw purse that I think would’ve brought some good money.
That butterfly box might fit into an extra large pizza box. I use pizza boxes all of the time for plates and platters and small pictures. Your might be too thick, though, but the double sides on pizza boxes make for safe shipping.
Amazing pick!! Thank you so much for the content. FYI - pewter for the most part is not valuable, but if you ever run across pewter dinner plates (even with heavy utensil marks), they can be worth some money! Sold a set of 10 for just over $100.00 and not fragile, so super easy to ship.
What a great estate sale . I went to 1 about 6 months ago and there was a huge snake next to their storage building . I kept on thinking i hope they dont get snake bit . That place was piled up big time with totes holding up the roof. Love to watch you guys but it ends to quick.Your #1 Tennessee fan, Dianah
Whoa! You guys hit pay dirt at this estate sale! Thanks so much for sharing! That was a great tip/invite to go there! ( : Thank you friend! ( : I wonder how the person lived there, it was rlsooo small and sooo filled with items! Not cheap items either! ( : Wow! Great haul! So fun seeing your excitement too! Great job! ( :
Oh my gosh! I know it's not up your alley LOL, but my eyes went IMMEDIATELY, to a 1952 Rca Victor Blaine Am Radio, BAKELITE tube radio, that was on the shelf, beside the glass pitcher with the apple painted on it-at about the 06:50 marker. I recognized it immediately. One set or the other of my grandparents, I don't remember which, lol, had one.
A while back Kayla missed a black Tole painted wooden plate and several of us commented on it. She didn’t miss this one! I see things and tell her to grab it while watching. Like she can hear me. lol
@@janhaley1212 one thing I enjoy tremendously about our little Kayla, is that she not only reads our comments, she listens to her fans, and their suggestions. I find that highly admirable.
Hi yall! Love your channels. I really want to start pickin, but the old man says no. I get so jealous of the purse finds, yep...I'm a purse ho. Y'all have fun. Stay safe!!
I’m talking hoarder but you guys scored. Love watching you two work because you balance out each other’s strength’s and weakest areas in the game of reselling. Hey, you need to head to the edge of the mountains in North Carolina, restores in Lenior, Morganton, Caldwell County restore and there’s all sorts treasure places to shop. I live in South Carolina but not far from those areas. Anyway looking forward to more videos. 😊❤
You TWO sure know how to find some good finds, I wish I had a pinky full of your energy and also look forward to the end of your videos to see what everything potentially sells for. GOD LOVES YOU and WE LOVE YOU.
I hope you guys gushed to the owner about how much you admire her taste. That often means much more to most owners who are selling all of their stuff off for so little. I love those turquoise lamps! And that Bakelite pitcher is such a great find!
I love the butterflies wish I lived in the states...was wondering why you left behind that purse with the plastic over the flowers and I think a seahorse...and I saw a vintage blue radio on the shelf I thought you were going to grab...love you guys.
No waaay! What an amazing opportunity and amazing scores! After you are done shopping a place like that do you ever feel like you want to go back one more time just to make sure you didn’t miss anything? ❤
I thought that might be a Van Briggle on the shelf as well! You know Van Briggle, the quality is nice! If you have ever held in your hands, great craftsmanship! Also marked with the chapel window , Van Briggle on the bottom. Love your videos. Matt you reminded me of a “gentle giant” in a trolls cave tucked under that “ homemade pergola”. If that is what it supposed to be? Wasn’t sure!?
On the recap when you are showing the teddy bear there is a huge bottle of Pine-Sol I just paid $60 plus shipping for a vintage bottle just wanted to give you a heads up of what they are selling for another great hall thanks for sharing
From watching too many utubes, I’ve noticed that small wall art of needlepoints and crewel work sells well. Always check out the walls. You’re on the mark 97% of the time. There’s some small older pottery that ships easily. I’ve shopped estate sales for over 40 years and have only made 2 inexpensive purchases that were bad. It’s difficult for me to buy on eBay due to the cost from making a profit. I love watching you both!
Glad you two got the invitation to visit this sale!! First pick of it all. My daughter had a phone just like the one you found YEARS ago...cool to see it again. Love your videos!!

Straw purse would have been a good find.

Lucite handles
Right, I was surprised it got passed on.

It's too funny to watch you pick up vintage things that I had in the 70's! I actually had that towel! Lol😊
Me too! Are we vintage?😂😅
I have those towels in avocado green and also the gold, but they are used for dog baths.
Yes, we are; and I still can't believe my mother gave away all of the Tonka toys and bicycles from my youth.
Did you expect your mum to store them forever?
