That was awesome man, seriously I cant believe you got that freaking beaver with your trap the odds of that are slim here, beaver run the rivers hard so they move far distances. So crazy and the phone call at the end was nuts. I just missed death with my 330 almost got my arm by an inch.

Awesome video. Glad you got your trap back. I haven't ever tried to trap a beaver before but if it was me with those drowners I would drill a hole in it towards the bottom so I could put a clip on it so trap wouldn't be able to come off the drowner
Aaron Todd it cant come off the drowner I have a big washer welded on the end some how he pulled the stake and then twisted the s hook off first time I’ve ever lost a trap from beaver

Find a good magnet and do some fishing in between where you had your castor mound set and where the beaver was in the 330. You might just find a drowner rod there.

Nice video, are your drowning them with rebar? how long is drowning bar? Never used them , but willing 2 try it ,looks easy 2 make and better than twisted up drowning cables like I have
Mike W I use 5/8 rebar 8 foot long I get two drowners and two stakes out of 20’ piece

Them drowning rods don't work to well in mud,I put about 8ft of 3/32 cable to a tree the weight of the trap will drown them,if they pull lose.
