I hope he realized it was immature, and doesn't do it again, because I have been a Stevie T fan for a long time and I wouldn't watch him if he still does these kinds of things. However, his channel isn't targeted towards children, and youtube is 13+, so children aren't meant to be on itm
Stevie’s exact comment was “really, really, really?” (In a joking tone while making a funny face). Then, he said ‘I’d hate for someone to come sweep pick over your playing’ and he played his guitar. If you consider that bullying, you have to be one of the softest, weakest, and most fragile human beings on planet Earth.
Picking on that girl who is learning, developing and showing it to an audience is sickening. Luckily at her young age she is already more mature than Stevie T, so she'll do just fine.

Just for giggles, I showed my kids a snippet of one of his videos. For obvious reasons I wasn't going to show all of the content, both of them looked at me and asked "what is wrong with him?" To which I said "nothing, this is how he acts." They both looked at me and said "he's stupid and annoying" and walked out of the room. A tear of joy came to my eye knowing at least to this point I have raised kids to recognize sub-par content and actions/views obviously intended to insult rather than be constructive. Great follow up video.
As someone who had been bullied for most of my early years, Stevie's behavior makes me so absurdly pissed off. Being on the receiveing end of this type of behavior was borderline traumatic for me, and i don't want to imagine what it would be like for someone like Richard Benson. It's absolutely deplorable
It’s quite clear that Steve was bullied growing up. He thinks it’s due to his appearance most likely, not taking into account his horrible and tasteless personality. Now trying to overcompensate for all of that by not only being a fantastic guitar player (which he is, undoubtedly.) but also an over the top, loud, obnoxious bully. Usually, people who are the most insecure are also more likely to gravitate towards bullying. What makes it the worst is how he tries to mask his bullying as “parody” and makes sure to put a 12 second disclaimer at the end of his videos that “it’s all in good fun and I actually like the person I just roasted to oblivion about their art”. Long story short, Stevie is just an internally sad dude who uses his “humor” to cope.
I was suspended from high school in 1980 in my freshman year for literally knocking out a huge 6`6 12th grade bully. He was the son of the former principal. I fractured his nose and blacked both his eyes with one punch. I lost my temper but nearly everyone on campus saw it at first recess. My dad gave me 20 bucks and took me to our fishing camp on a nearby lake and dropped me off while I was out of school for three days. I grew up doing chores on a 5 acre farm. I loaded, unloaded, chopped, stacked, and carried inside all our firewood each year and weeded three acres of crops and mowed the rest with a push mower, hauled hay, ran 175 fur traps, walked miles hunting, lifted heavy bags of fertilizer, harvested crops, fed and watered a lot of animals, and I wasn`t the right guy to be bullying. I was vindictive too and dangerous. I had an encounter with this same bully years before the only time I went to the town pool. I had never seen the guy before but he reported me to the lifeguard for stealing his diving mask...MY mask, and they took it from me!

He makes a video about Stevie that is meant to start drama and get views and then puts ads on that video. Sounds to me like he’s doing exactly what Stevie does and is just trying to make money. If he really wants to put his money where his mouth is he would turn off ads on these types of videos instead of capitalizing on drama. Videos with parodies of intellectual property characters from cartoons don’t necessarily mean those videos are made for or targeted at children. The whole Adam and Eve sponsor gives a new meaning to the shameless plug thing he referenced in the BetterHelp video. Its weird that people still consider metrics as a valid gauge of anything. Even as a kid I was smart enough to make my ages on all these sites 18, so you can watch whatever you want. And that was when the internet was still reasonably new, I imagine kids now have more of an understanding of it than we did at the time.
They do. I have had to delete three of my sons accounts. When they are teenagers, they don’t realize how much danger there is out there and they think they can handle anything. The first account I deleted for him was when he was 12. I have a stubborn, headstrong boy. It will stand him in good stead once he becomes a man but, for now, he’s giving dad gray hairs!
I think he said that he wants to basically help people get on the right track with the audio audit and when they dont do that then provide his viewers with information on how to deal with it. Like when stevie t makes kids content and then does an add for an adult store

Jesus, you don't realise it until you hear KDHs dulcit tone's how loud Stevie T is, his voice is like a hammer hammering into your brain. I used to not mind him but his content over past few years is poor. Those $200 a pop referrals have obviously paid off nicely, he's got himself a nice house now. Alright for some isn't it...
There’s a few videos of his that I like, mainly the ones that have to do with guitar, like his guitar collection, but a majority of his content is as abrasive as an angle grinder and his voice is like a megaphone to listen to
Jokes and memes aside, this is a big problem on YT that requires serious consequences. I hope YT doubles down on content creators that don't label their content as made for kids, which is fully possible to achieve algorithmically based not only on stats but also on many other parameters. History, engagement, conversion rates and everything they already track.
I got here by the unknown wonders of youtube algorithm and while the issue is serious the difference between this and typical videos feels like when the nice teacher loses his temper and in a stoic manner points out every possible thing wrong with the class nuisance student leaving everyone stunned. I do agree with your last sentences. “Pick either family friendly or not”. As long as he does this he can solve a ton of issues. I don’t know why he doesn’t.
@Бразилец I think it’s just that some parents who aren’t as present in their kid’s life may not know that Stevie T’s content isn’t kid friendly. By a glance it certainly seems that way and might give the wrong impression to parents.
@Бразилец you don’t need to be so defensive. It’s a perfectly rational criticism that a 34 year old successful man should be able to handle himself. Sure, some 8 year olds watch PG-13 movies. It’s not “kid friendly”, but many are able to handle it. What Stevie did however, is the equivalent to Nickelodeon airing Adam and Eve advertising during commercial breaks. It makes it look like he cares more about easy money than he does being a decent role model to an obviously younger audience. While I personally can’t stand him, other people who are sharing reasonable criticism are not “haters” or “Karens” just because they said something that isn’t positive.

Wow, you make really valid points here. Great work. This is a suggestion, but I think Stevie should try and construct a mindset where he can keep doing these types of videos, being the child friendly and mature audience oriented content (minus the "ripping on haters" videos, as they're just uncalled for), and not having to compromise between each target audience - if that makes sense. In short, as an example, he can possibly try and divide his audience between a separate channel and his current main one, meaning that he can make videos suitable for kids within the suitable UA-cam kids age range on a child friendly channel, and the usual content on his main, thus possibly making things a little easier and better for himself as well as everyone else. Sorry if that was a bit of a length-y, ranting paragraph, but it just looks better in typed words than me trying to physically speak my opinion. Lol. Again, great work, dude.
TBH it's not THAT much a stretch from stand-up comedians having to do clean material on late-night TV and having separate uncensored material for live tapings at clubs and audio recordings so I think he could (but sadly probably wouldn't.)

To which I said "nothing, this is how he acts." They both looked at me and said "he's stupid and annoying" and walked out of the room.
🙄

Meanwhile Stevie T is 3,000,000 subs, had his own signature Keisel guitar, and his growth bought him a huge house. That audience ain't kids. Nor do I care if some kids watch his content. Wake the f^ck up - kids watch PornHub ! Stevie had zero responsibility to change his ridiculous clownish idiotic potty-humor comedy style or content. If people on here are THAT concerned about kids on the internet, StevieT is the LAST worry you need to have LOL Perspective, people. Perspective. Take your devices away from the kids, and keep them OFF the internet completely. That is a parent's choice, not StevieT's responsibility to change one iota of his content style. Content that attracted 3,000,000 subs, by the way. Obviously he found a niche. These nitpickers didn't.
I am just now seeing this. I had no idea, thank you for the information.
Yeah, SpongeBob is a kids show. However, there is a lot of innuendo and references in the show that only adults will get or understand.
Was PeeWee Herman for kids or adults?
@@stringspicksandfiddlestick6388 I think those 'kids' shows" were made with adult jokes that fly under the radar to make it tolerable or maybe a little bit funny to parents who had to endure them.
Steve does it to pander to kids, not for other reasons man
Yea. That doesn’t make it right to sell buttplugs to the same audience
@@stringspicksandfiddlestick6388
Considering he started in Cheech and Chong movies it seems fairly clear to those of us who grew up on that stuff who he was aiming for.
It's one of those you don't notice untill you have kids.
Stevie T's channel is not for kids, which is obvious from the examples you showed.
I'm the father of a 5 year old daughter who loves UA-cam, and I have definitely learned that there's a ton of content targeted at kids that is no where near appropriate for them. I strongly believe that it's every parents responsibility to ensure that the content their child has access to is appropriate for their age. However that doesn't mean that content creators who target kids aren't responsible for ensuring their content is appropriate for the age group they're making videos for, so I found these videos on this Stevie T guy to be harsh, yet completely fair. Additionally I wanted to say, I just found out about this channel yesterday and I think it's great. I think you have far less subs than you've earned
My 5 year old girl loves horror movies and Metal so she's especially difficult to filter her content.
@@johnnyede9781 good parenting bro, if she likes those genres she seems to be a strong a smart little girl but be aware, the internet is almost imposible to control so keep an eye and keep head banging together
@@johnnyede9781 Well since you like accusing people one could argue you showing your 5 year old child horror movies is child abuse
@@MybeautifulandamazingPrincess some kids are just edgy, and I think it depends what kind of horror movies also.
In all honesty. Who cares. Thankfully they at least are watching a semi educational channel over jake paul. I'm not defending stevie t but literally 99% of content on UA-cam isn't very child appropriate. it's a much broader issue and specifically targeting stevie t doesn't fix it.
Most people should be smart enough to know that on their own but KDH thinks we’re stupid and need to be told how to think since we can’t have informed opinions of our own.
Yeah agreed. Hell pewdipie said the n word. Markaplier cuses like a sailor. U don't have to like his cheese bullshit but there are wayyyyyy worse content on UA-cam for pedos and other fucking sick people to be on. I rather see kids on his channel when young boys on some twitch thots channel.
@@InGovWeMistrust funny how you have the same comment copy pasted several times with the same 3 likes on all of them. You fanboys really need to go do your homework instead of defending rich peopke on youtube. You'll thank me when you turn 18
@@ileutur6863 I think you’re missing the point by a mile.
@@ileutur6863 I don't see how this is relevant and I see you commenting the same thing over and over again 🤣
Is yt guitarist drama your thing or sum. I feel like some of your arguments are valid but some people don’t know how to take jokes.
So much respect for that girl handling the horrible situation that insecure manchild bully forced on her.
Hi, I watched many videos of Stevie T and I found that they were funny entertainment. I was not aware of the effects it caused, so I watched you're first video on him. Seeing it from your perspective helped me to understand what someone can do on youtube to a person with the help of his subscribers. I think it is disgusting. I have a channel with one subscriber and just some videos in bad quality and even I think twice before I say something on camera. I cannot watch Stevies Videos anymore, because you made clear and revealed what someone can do. Thank you for your investigative journalism. Thank you for widening my perspective. And by the way, sync or not sync I wish I could play guitar as you do, Sir. Stay safe
OK. Old vid but I have to chime in at 5 mins in. I watched a couple of your vids some time back and thought "Smug fucker". Now I watch your vids and think "This shit is well researched and well considered". You have a new subscriber as of this evening.
Your hair is majestic
I feel like that guy is the manager for everyone
Me too
I have 100% liked this video before, yet it was unliked.
I'm onto you, UA-cam.
I'm mostly annoyed that he always seems to be yelling at the camera.
You’ve got a point here, thank you for making me think harder.
Maybe this is what happens to people like myself in their 30’s that grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons, who never stopped enjoying cartoons. I grew up, sure, but there’s a part of me that just wants to revel in the days of Animainiacs… Or Spongebob if you were lucky to have cable TV.
I’m not sure he 100% realized that agreeing to sex toy advertising might be inappropriate at the time.
I do occasionally watch and enjoy Steve’s videos, but you do make some valid points, and it’s a sad epiphany.
fuck does age have to do with enjoying shows, spongebob slaps some of the humour early on is just good funny shit.
@@WookieWarriorz Exactly! Funny is funny. SpongeBob appeals to adults, and it appeals to kids. If anything, maybe Stevie T should make it clear that it isn't a kids UA-cam channel with a little disclaimer or something.
I think you're talking it a little too seriously there capn do whatever ya want I guess but one could argue you're bringing more attention to it sure hope you never do anything that people could see as wrong on your channel that wouldn't be good you know why sharks dont bite other sharks
