Best band ever!
I get chills watching this. The Downtown in Farmindale introduced me to hxc gigs. I can even see old friends in the crowd. I went there all the time for shows for about a year until I was 15 and I had to abruptly move to Ireland, where there was f*ck all gigs in my town, never mind hxc. "You Come Before You" came out around the time and it really spoke to the situation I was in at the time, (family falling apart, etc.). I still listen to it all the time and it still makes me well up like no other record. I'm finally gonna see Poison The Well after over 20+ years of being a fan this summer in the U.K., I'm definitely gonna cry. Thank you Poison The Well, The Downtown (RIP) and whoever posted this beautiful video x
Jeff’s ability to go back and forth between singing and brutal screaming is unmatched. It’s really hi-lighted in this performance. There’s still no one that touches his scream to this day.

This may be them in their absolute prime. Goddamn. Definitely coming back and revisiting this often. Love how good they sound.
Oh man I was at this show and played here so many times before it closes down! Seen TDEP with The End here, we played a secret show with GlassJaw here! GlassJaw was in town and asked if they could open up for my band and said fuck yeah! Daryl and Beck use to come to the studio I was doing session work at and I was Daryl's plug for that 🔥 for a year until I moved to FL. So many good memories here and Port Jeff music hall along with Amityville. We played so many shows at every venue from Hamptons to Upstate NY. Besides touring we played at least twice a week!
Was such a massive fan of this band around this exact time. Sadly never saw them live. I was such a punk dude in the 90s, and these guys got me into hardcore. Will forever love their music.... awesome..cheers for sharing.
You still have time to catch them. I got to travell 1000kms to see them. Twice. They are playing again. Hopefully they came to Europe again.
This is one of my favorite concerts of all time.

They were on fire, best live energy craaazy.sick... Saw them in '03 in Ft. Lauderdale at the Factory....They were sooo strong...This period is so beautiful and fn violent the best! Derek Miller leaving is one that will live forever as crushingly sad....Love them sooo much, met them all many times...Incredible band

Although it's in 480p, I'd say that quality is underrated. Sometimes it looks too good.

I remember it took them 30 min just to start.
Was this an off-date from the Deftones tour? Maybe that ended right before this. Can’t remember if it was Sept or Nov that year that I saw them and Denali open for Deftones in Philly at the Electric Factory.
