I come back and watch this so often. Saw them a bunch when I was younger and this reunion felt like they never stopped playing. So glad I got to see it in person and so stoked I can rewatch it here.

Still one of the best shows I’ve ever been to in my life I’m the guy at 56:20 during Cecilia that’s screaming into Jordan’s face. I was 24 years old. This is almost 10 years ago.
It was my first time seeing the Blood Brothers live, I couldn't have picked a better show to go to. The crowd was amazing and the Blood Brothers killed it. If you ever get a chance to see them live, do not hesitate. Buy those tickets the second they go on sale.

Found this after rediscovering this band as they were a giant inspiration to me in my younger years. This is exactly like the first time I saw them when I was 17, fucking pure electrifying violence. Mark is a drumming GOD. They are each individually such powerful performers/musicians
The drums at the end of Vital Beach brought a tear to my eye.
This makes me so happy.
I find that all the bands I love the most earn their repeat listens by the fact that if you listen to each individual member you will be blown away and you can't believe the sum of its engaging parts in all its combinations of listening potential with this much going on. I know it's weird to some of you kids, but I'm talking about Blind Melon as well as Blood Brothers. Listen for content, not style. PS Ha I write my most longest and craziest comments on BB vids, must be the mood I get in when I listen to this manic shit.

I'm so jealous of everyone who got to be here. My brother turned me onto the blood brothers when i was 10 or 11 and I've loved them ever since, but 22 now I've never been able to go see them and chances look slim of ever being able to see them.

Caught them in Seattle. Hometurf advantage! But despite the absurd amount of hipsters with full video gear, none of them got footage. It was the Showbox's 75th, there were cameras brought in, but not one decent video. Props to Frank (or at least I assume it's Frank) for catching this footage.

The Seattle show had neckbeards with cameras everywhere, but as far as I can tell, nobody professionally filmed it. It should have been filmed, a Blood Brothers reunion at Showbox's 75th anniversary, but that is putting too high of expectations on Seattle.
Yeah. I am a native. Been involved in the scene for 20 years now. Things are stagnating here. Really the most exciting local things to happen in the last couple years was the waxwing and blood brothers reunions. I guess the fleet foxes were alright, (I prefer father john misty) and ravenna woods are awesome, but really, it just seems like there's a huge gap where bands ranging from the likes of KARP, the BB, botch, akimbo, unwound, waxwing and so many others used to be in Seattle alone.
Now there's barely anything at all. I just started a punk band with some friends, (members of ravenna woods, yonder, waxwing, monogamy party, and akimbo) hopefully we'll be able to address this issue with a drive like jehu/jesus lizard hybrid.

Never saw live show i went to got cancelled but Got to meet and drink with them minus Johnny. Mark and Cody were THE nicest dudes. Makes me sad to not understand how tight they played, I know why they laughed when I brought up Jungle Rules Live.

I was at the Santa Ana show on their return tour. It makes me extremely sad their set list was half of these songs. We even chanted for an encore for about 10-15 minutes and nothing. I still had the time of my life and consider my life complete that I’ve had the chance to see these amazing dudes play live. Would give my left nut to see them play one song in the pit one more time. The best band ever. This live performance is perfect and thank you for uploading it.

they sort of re-do the set near 36:00, sound quality isn't the best but with how raucous their recorded sounds are, this is to be expected, the setlist provides nice variation amongst the albums
