Because you can not find a solution to a problem unless you respond it. Testing, tracking/tracing, vaccination creation, etc.
San dro prevented, exactly, which this one wasn’t, poor response.
He’s Ripped and a genius . I wish I could be as composed and well spoken

Jealousy , this is a master in his art and a IQ few could compare, do you think for one moment he is intimidated by you. HA HA
Real important note about the smartphone thing: it's entirely voluntary, but widely used.
"Fish rots from the head down. A lot of your problems begin with your commander-in-chief." Pretty much sums it up.
I'm watching this multiple time, just to really understand and realise what he's saying, I understand it but rather it's unbelievably true fact.
I get what u mean
Bingo!!! Thats all I can say! Except. ..we have no commander in chief😔
4:30 "You have the 25, 50 best universities in the world"
love the videos bloomberg, thanks for informing us of what scientists are working on!
Can someone explain to me why is this plan called "Crazy"?? ROFL
for clicks
or some people just dont know common sense after all
It's not crazy for them. But Iceland's entire population would fit inside an American suburb, so their methods aren't going to work everywhere, especially not a place like NYC (NYC's population is 23 times larger than Iceland's.)
@@exiles_dot_tv But as he points out, you have that so many more resources, but your not using them, easily 23 times more just in the NYC
@@exiles_dot_tv it would work, USA has 1000x the resources iceland has. You just need someone to make a plan and follow through.
5:02 "complete lack of coordination" -true faxxx
Testing tracking and isolation not a full blown lockdown thats what everyone should have done but privacy is more important to most people than human lives
Microsoft will be creating a tracking app
But I will not get a chip in me I don't care how important they say it is
Crazy plan? It’s common sense in epidemiology rofl
That was a great interview where can I see more of them and this journalist
“I buy my reagents from the US”. Wooooow! I’m so fed up. I’m an ICU Nurse and I work on an all COVID unit and there is so much data outside the US that shows a more efficient and coordinated way to treat this disease and minimize the spread and infection. Mean time we are here losing patients by the thousands dying alone, a lot of them in a foreign land. It is my dream to one day travel and see how different hospital and governments and health care systems operate. I’m in need of a Hail Mary.
Wish he was on our team.
Marc Bryan Art what you need is someone off your team. Less is more
@@bayjrid0110 TRUTH
He hit the nail on the head... It all starts with the commander and chief...coordination
Amazing interview, from a no BS guy
Iceland has fewer people then Honolulu, population density of 3.4 per km2. Must of been a nightmare controlling the virus under those circumstances. 🤦🏻♂️
This is so interesting Iceland is a fantastic country. I loved it there I visited in 2018 they have a really interesting culture and a willingness to learn. "The fish rots from the head down ".
Thank you Ashley! You rock!
Thx for watching!
This doctor can lift bro!
Thank you for sharing this story!
In Ontario, Canada's largest province, the virus affects females significantly more at a rate of 3:2. The sample size is statistically significant with over 350,000 tests to date. There is likely to be regional variances, would be interesting to see why.
Malik Chabou I just posted for NS 62% female 39% male
4:39 Karl drops the mike. Shuts down any excuses. Love it.
Imagine how all this would have been approached if America wasn't ran by a rotten fish. So many wasted lives to come.
Yeah, but it is only the old, the sick, the poor and some black...
"It's just the flu", said no one with a half a brain ever.
Thank you. I enjoyed that interview.
If it weren't that cold there I'd move there in a minute
NYC gets colder than Iceland. It's not so bad.
Very impressed by this geneticist and his handling of the pandemic. Bravo to you and your countrymen.!
The US didn't even tested 1% by today.
USA 1% population is more than Iceland's whole population
@Day Time Just an educated guess but i think the USA has way more production capacity for tests than Iceland. How this translates to potential test capacity in comparison to the population, no clue.
I hope the American people will make it through this difficult time with a little damage en fatalities as possible.
@Day Time Iceland has about 330000 people
@Tobby Isiba This should make the distribution easy and European cities are even more dense
@Day Time but you also have 334 million potential workers... No excuse.
Though I don't know much about it, I want to go to Iceland...have no idea why. It just seems like a very interesting place to visit. This just makes it higher on my list.
When you are looking a beast in the eyes you have to do whatever it takes. Brilliant
He is so well spoken and precise with his explanation. Why can’t nativ speaking medical professionals in media talk like him.
Excellent report “Hello world “
Highly informative & eye-opening
I want him to narrate documentaries, he has a wonderful voice.
He is also truly brilliant in explaining complicated thing's in a way, everybody understands.
Remember to practice PHYSICAL distancing, not SOCIAL! Reach out to your loved ones and stay connected!
This video is way too short Bloomberg! :)
Thanks for the upload.
The U.S. is an embarrassment. Every leader outside of the U.S. is in disbelief on the mayhem in America.
Awesome info! thanks for sharing 👍
Iceland population is only364,134 so how can you compare them to USA.
It's the approach used to deal with the virus that is being compared.
@@KarleneE 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was a really fascinating interview. Would of been great if it was longer than 7 minutes though! Could probably listen to this guy talk about his research for at least half an hour and learn a lot.
"fish rot from head to toe"
Hey man, if you're going to put quotes around it, get the quote correct.
"A fish rots from the head down."
Your version is striking because, although it attempts to capture the essence of the saying, it falls short since fish don't have feet, or toes. Jesus.
I like this interviewer and his questions. I definitely enjoyed the guest as well.
"About 10%"
"10.5%"
Damn, dude is all about the accuracy
Love , Iceland. Beautiful land. Hopefully can go back someday.
He is buying his reagents from the United States...wtf. I just watched someone else say we lack reagents...I believe this Iceland guy... we have the reagents but we lack leadership
The fish rots from the head down. You got that right.
please, interviewers, put a shoe box under your laptops and raise that to the level of your head
Great interview.
Hottest Icelandic man I've seen in a long long time . And I used to live there ....
It's a little easier to handle the problem when you population is only 300,000. That would be the equivalent of one city in America.
True but USA has better resources and people to handle the pandemic...
i’m from iceland and i’ve been there in the testing..
The game changer was honesty and transparency. No politics and conflict of interests.
