Not to mention a fight is way more than a punch and is a punch even the right solution for that problem open hand strikes, kicks, knees, elbows, a tool carried on body. People want to cookie cutter every freaking thing. Keep at it Mac!
I hadn’t worked out in like the last 4 weeks, I did a hiit workout with my 75 pound sand bag this morning, I feel like I just got done with an 1.5 hour BJJ session 😂 just gotta get back at it tomorrow and hope it gets easier day by day
Oh yeah, the Cossack sqout is a but kicker. I've been working on my pull-ups. I can do a handful slow, 12 fast. I've only been "working out" for a few months, so I haven't been eaten up over it. I'll get to 20 or 25 soon enough, and then I'll just maintain them. I can do push-ups forever, though. Lost close to 100lbs over the corse of last year trying to put on 20lbs now. I'm 33 years old, and something about that 30 number told me I ought to kick it into gear. I thought I'd better lose the weight while I still can and gain the mass while I still can.
Silly question (and I’m not trying to actually be “silly”) - what brand of pants/jeans are you wearing in that video? I usually wear Levi’s denim. I do have a couple of pairs of Kuhl and one pair of Prana, but if I try to train in my jeans, they’re not as “loose” as a pair of shorts.
Made me laugh you saying waiting to get critiqued on punching…while we strive to be the best it’s about fitness and beating down the wannabe in the street who picks a fight with someone who is mean, strong, fast, and has a general idea of how to throw a punch we aren’t training to be professional fighters just professionally minded citizens.
Pat Mac is a personification of operational fitness a lot of people should pay attention to this
This is incredible advice. Hard fought training wisdom.
More of this best series !!!

I could be wrong but the high shoulder rotational exercise with that metal trapezoidal weight reminds me of a Bulgarian sandbag exercise.
Brutal workout! 👍👍
I've never done lunges, once I recover from my compartment syndrome it's to the bands, thanks Pat Mac

Halo is the name of the first strength exercise
The kneesovertoes guy would disagree with you about not letting your knees go over your toes.
Like trans centric worky out for both strength and movement
