I bought this backpack, because I have scoliosis, and am taking up more hiking with my son. He has all the ultralight gear. His backpack would destroy me after an hour of hiking. This Osprey is absolutely the most comfortable I’ve ever tried. Totally worth the money for me.

Hey, I also have scoliosis and all backpacks kill my back so I have been trying to find a good one, even ready to spend this kind of money if it will work for me, but I was wondering have you had your spine fused? Because I have and it changed my whole muscle system so I don’t know if this backpack will help much
@@velsabelsa1707 Heya! I had surgery on my spine 34 years ago. 53 years old now. I have a rod attached to my spine, so my entire spine isn't fused. It definitely does change your muscle system. I've started to workout recently, which always helps. Training with weights and machines has been the best thing for my back for sure. All other bags kill my back as well. This one is so flexible with how you carry the load, which helps a lot. Keeping the majority of the weight off my shoulders, and having the breathing room on my back is what sold it for me. Beyond that, it's an amazing bag to store your gear in.
why didn't you buy osprey atmos - same system, but costs just 200?
People will whine about the price but what many do not realize is that this is how technology moves forward. If it weren't for rich youtubers buying things like this, the rest of us would never get this tech down the line. ;) Thanks for taking the hit for us!

@@tomk3732 the 3d printed lumbar pad. The adjustability of the load lifting points. The waste belt ventilation. The entire ventilation system itself.
All of that, plus the manufacturing cost. If you were to build this pack 20 years ago it would quite literally be tens of thousands of dollars.

I bought this backpack recently (1 week ago) even though I’ve had trouble justifying the cost. I’m a 58 year old female who’s had two lower back surgeries, neck procedures, full shoulder replacement, and knee surgery. All in all, I’m in pretty good shape for the shape I’m in! I hike a lot throughout the entire year, even if I’m stuck urban trekking locally. (Yes, I am that little old lady walking in the city year around, even on the coldest winter days, carrying my gear to a local park where I can brew a cup of coffee and cook my breakfast.) I didn’t come into hiking until the last 3-4 years because bicycling became to dangerous for me. My bucket list includes camping overnight on the trails, so I’ve been slowly acquiring all of my gear and working to build muscle mass to carry the load needed for a 2-3 overnight adventure on the trail. With all of my physical issues, I am always looking for what best suits my limitations. While this pack may be heavier and more expensive than many out there, it has been the BEST for me thus far. Granted, I’ve had it a very short time, but in alternating between my previous backpacks this week, this pack was by far the most comfortable for my lower back, neck, and shoulders. I still can’t believe the difference it makes! I don’t know how to describe how it does it, but I know it was money well spent. My back feels supported and I don’t have the downforce on my neck and shoulders that I feel with the other packs. The others aren’t low end or inferior packs; this one is simply superior. If you have some of the issues I do, but still like to get out there and hike, this may be the pack you’re looking for. Bonus: I feel like I’m being strapped into a professional race car seat every time I buckle the waist straps! It’s that form fitting!

A series of unfortunate events beginning when I was a teen. And a serious bicycle accident. But I move forward and do what I can that doesn’t hurt me…too much. 😂

Back in the day, when we all had framed backpacks, this was a non-issue...I usually find a tree to hang mine on.
Not a problem, just park your BP on something with back support like a chair or similar object - take load off, take it on easy.

I got this last April 4, 2022 and used it for hiking in Peru. It is light and comfortable. I love the fact that it has its own water proof bag. And it has super long warranty. Love it.

I've seen a few reviews of this pack, and in most of those reviews (and especially the comments) everyone seems to be baffled by Osprey's decision to make it and no one knows who would buy it. It's pretty simple, though: they don't really expect to sell many of these.
Osprey is trying to exploit the "Halo effect" by creating an ultra-premium product that will make their down-market options seem even more appealing.
I'm wondering whether they might actually produce the opposite affect: people might say to themselves: "well, I can't afford Premium Osprey, why don't I get Premeum something else, instead of a "lesser" Osprey pack..."
@@natiaron8617 Unlikely if they are looking at specific features. Eventually, Osprey will put that ventilated hipbelt on a more affordable pack. Then the thought becomes "I really like the look of that hip belt, but can't afford the $700 UNLTD... oh, this $300 pack has a similar hip belt and I don't need those extra features anyway."
R&D is a big reason "halo" products like this are made. Like Dan says in the video... the designers basically had blank check when they made this and put as many new ideas into the pack as possible. They may not sell many of these (and they don't expect to), but they will get a slew of reviews talking about how great the individual features are. Osprey will watch that response to see which features resonate the most, then start including them in cheaper packs. It will be easier to do so because most of the design work is already done and all they need to do now is change the dimensions and maybe tweak the materials in order to meet a target price point.
On top of that, they're hoping this pack is so far beyond the premium offerings of their competitors that consumers will have better feelings about all their products just by seeing the logo. "Sure, Gregory makes good packs, but Osprey makes the BEST pack. So, choosing between these two similarly priced packs, I'm better off with the one that was made by the same guys who made the UNLTD. They really know their stuff."
To be clear: I'm talking about the halo effect in theory. Of course individual consumers will act differently. We all make our own choices and some individual people will disagree with the reasoning I've presented here. But this is a real thing in marketing and product development used across many industries. There is some evidence it works on a large enough group of people to make it worth doing.
There are also people who will walk into REI, and just buy the most expensive thing there, because it must be the best.
At that price range why not go Kifaru or Mystery Ranch?
The breathable Mesh might be a issue in a single season depending on the material it might catch and rip, no cannot say I am a fan of that pack at that price point I would want durability.

My $0.02 is "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."
That being said, my wife just gave birth to out first child, so I'm finding high end gear just became a whole lot higher, for me.

I have a Deuter Mens Aircontact 75+10 backpack. The ventilation is similar to what you are showing and the Deuter is a lot cheaper at $250-225.00. I’m 5’10”, 275-lbs and I carry 40-50lbs or more and it is not felt. So check out the Deuter. PS: I carry a camping chair. The ultra-light is for those who like it. I’m retired, the trails are not going anywhere and I will reach my destination eventually because my patience is a virtue. 😊
The ventilation is definitely not similar at all. It's a completely different story on this one. The Deuter has a rather traditional padding design, while this has tensioned Mesh everywhere. If you want a ventilated backpack, get the Osprey Atmos AG for around 250$ or less, even on that one the ventilation is on a completely different level from the Aircontact.
Don't get me wrong, the Aircontact is a comfortable pack, but it's not well ventilated.
Trust me, I've carried both on longer hikes recently (my default pack for the last 5 years has been the Osprey Atmos AG 65, and I recently carried the Deuter Aircontact 75+10 of a friend of mine on a longer trip because of the added volume). The ventilation on the Osprey Atmos AG is on another level, not even comparable to the Deuter.
Just wondering what you are carrying to get your pack so heavy. That is the weight I was carrying many years ago before things got so light. Good for you that you can carry so much gear. I am retired and my pack all in is high teens low 20s. I could never carry that much weight anymore. Take care
I bought the Airscape. I weigh 140. I have to carry sometimes more than a third of my weight. I live at the top of the world. You carry heavier stuff when you trek around the arctic. I am 60 +, very fit albeit I had 3 lobes of lung removed due to (never smoker) cancer, a permanently slightly dislocated hip and scoliosis. I carry 45 pounds of gear on average (bear kegs are heavy!!!) I love the airscape back, I love how durable it is, I love the fit, crampons don't rip it or my ice axe hasn't hurt it, most of all its COMFORTABLE, the hit belt is the bomb, it shoulder straps cradle the body. What would I fix? The plastic "hardware" and snap things are not well made. Someone called this the most expensive pack in the world. Hardly . Barney's Sport Chalet in Anchorage was selling Alice type packs for $899.98 over a year ago and I bet they are up to $1300 by now with massive inflation. You pay for comfort. Better cars, better shoes, homes. You can buy a car for $500 bucks. It will not ride like a Lexus or a Cadillac or any other premium vehicle. And OMG! The load lifters. Love your channel. I love this backpack. The price is crazy. I did get close to 100 bucks off. I can not do ultralight because of all the necessities I must carry in Grizzly country and Iglooland.
Just did two back to back 40 mile trips one with the 2020 version of the Aether 70 and then one with the Unltd 64. The Unltd blew my mind with how comfortable it was!! I’ve never had a pack in 25 years of backpacking be so damn comfy. I’m a photographer and really struggle to get my pack weight under 38lbs with camera gear. At times it reaches close to 50lbs with extra water. So this packs robust build and extra weight don’t bother me one bit because it carry’s the weight so well. But…. If I wasn’t hauling close to 40lbs and my pack weight was in the 25lbs range, I think this thing would be over kill and would opt for a UL pack. For me though, it’s worth the price and weight!

To me, this looks like an upgrade to the already amazing aether backpacks which I have and love. If I hiked a ton and long miles I would probably find this backpack worthwhile but it isn't for the weekend warrior.
For someone doing multi-week winter hikes where the loadout will be heavy, this could be a nice option. If you think about it, you can buy a tent for way above a grand.
Does the Aether have the AG system and open like a suitcase? Top loaders are for the birds 🐦

My Osprey Xenith does 85% of what this pack does and I love it. The brain on the Xenith turns into an actual daypack when you want one.
I was going to say the same thing. I have the Xena - women’s version of the zenith. The only thing I wish the xena had that this does is the better mesh back. But I enjoy the brain/daypack more than this Fanny pack situation and I like having the hip pockets and bottle holders on both sides. Plus with the xena and xenith the hip belt can be warmed up and form fitted exactly
Dan, at first the title for this vid piqued my interest, but as I chewed a bit more on its $700 price tag, I stopped the video to write this post and left. While I really want to get back into backpacking after a 46-year hiatus (I last used a beloved Jansport aluminum framed backpack in the summer of 1976 from Tuolumne Meadows to the Valley along the John Muir Trail at Yosemite) and 2 total knee replacement surgeries, $700 is 2x what I am willing to pay for even the best backpacks, and I've seen a lot of nice ones in that $400 and under price range.
I LOVE your channel though, Dan, and am a regular viewer. Your videos are always very informative and based on your vast experience, so your content is greatly appreciated by this old guy. Keep up the great job and stay safe out there!
I have that one, it carries so light. OK, it is diminishing returns as you get higher in price, but what the hell! No regrets, its epic!

I recently bought the UNLTD AG 32. I love it but I quickly found that I need something bigger. It's fine for a day hike or a light overnighter but I'd like a little more since I'm not an ultralight. I'm still learning.
I considered the 32L and came to the same assessment. I wish they made a 48L version and stripped down some additional weights. It would be a no brainer for me then no matter the cost as i have back issues like many.

I've tried a few different packs in my time. I've have now got a kuiu pro Lt. They are a expensive pack also but you can change packs on the same frame etc. So I've done the old adage buy once cry once.
I talked about this pack with a guy I met hiking the Forststeig in Germany (100km/6 days/quite difficult/gorgeous hike) who worked at an outdoor store. He had the theory that a lot of gear like this -- very technologically advanced, very expensive -- gets made as part of a special contract, usually military, and they then work on making a "civilian" version and bring it to market to test. It seemed plausible; I wonder if this was something Osprey cooked up for, like, some elite special-forces branch of somebody's military.
I hope this bag pays off I have tried many and at the point of I don’t care of the price I just want a good fit bag!!

Gotta say as an engineer, that comment of "the designer's dream" is speaking true. Cost constraints suck lol. Also 3d printing depending on the material actually makes it cheaper. Additive manufacturing allows for far more intricate designs with minimal effort and complete repeatability. Trying to make the same design with prior manufacturing methods would have been far more expensive if it was even feasible to create otherwise.
I just got the Talon 22 and I have the same issue with my hip belt pocket, same side. I lubricated the zipper and everything still jams up halfway.
The right pocket however works fine.
Well now that you’ve tried the 700 dollar osprey backpack. I wonder how a 50 dollar military surplus pack would compare.
Probably would be a better pack (the 50 dollar one). I bet durability wise it would be way, way better.
I imagine this pack will pave the way for other models to use the same type of designs and technologies but develop less expensive ways of manufacturing them.
This pack has no new tech - at least no tech that was not on other packs 20 years ago.
If it has any sort of commercial success I bet it will pave the way for companies to start selling more $700 backpacks.

🧐 I’m not liking the one-sided hip belt & side pockets… how about us lefties that can’t grab as well with the right hand? Unless they make a lefty model. But nice pack otherwise, even for the price. Though I’m steering away from pack bells & whistles these days. With the exception of large side & hip belt pockets!! So 2 of each would be nice.
Completely agree! The hip belt needs to be redesigned to add easy-access, functional pockets for often used items, so they are readily accessible. Otherwise, this backpack seems phenomenal. But for $700? I'd have to wait for a really great sale, lol.

@@antoniabaker7770 in the US, your typical multi day packs from big brands are about $200-$350. For a custom pack made with Dyneema, Ultra, etc., you might pay $300-$400. Doubling the price of even a custom pack is a hard sell to most backpackers.

For that much money I'd like a choice of colours. A tougher base would be good for putting the pack down on the ground and that goes for all packs.

550.00 last I checked. And well with the cover and all. Oddly my 8 year old 65LAG weights the same more or less 5lbs. Really like Osprey packs, warranty unbeatable. A air port luggage conveyer took out a sternum strap and they sent a new one in about 10 days.
Honestly, I was in the market for a 65L pack last week. The UNLTD was never in my consideration, because nobody has it to try on. Even then, I probably just wouldn't. I was tied between the Atmos 65 AG, and the Mystery Ranch Bridger 65. I tried a few of Osprey's larger packs on (Exos 58) and the hip-belts were very underwhelming. The Mystery Ranch was amazing. Felt like a nice hug on my hips with so much padding, it was very comfortable. Ended up going with the Mystery Ranch.

@@Rydoge7 So much less cushion compared to the M.R. it also pinched my hips a little more than too. I also didn't like how badly the Atmos's brain hit my head. I quite literally couldn't look up because the pack was right there on my head. Just what I found though, different bodies make different results

@@CheeseOnEverything I felt the aether was a brick that kept heavy loads very balanced but the hips were soooo uncomfortable. I’ve been using my fathers aether 70+ until now and it’s why I got the atmos.

Great review! What’s the weight without the top rid? Can you remove anything else that’s not necessary like the tent storage hood & buckle at the bottom of the bag? I’m basically wondering if its weight can be reduced to around 3 lbs.
I don't like hip belt pouches. I find them too difficult to access while wearing the pack. If I could, I would remove them and leave behind. I also don't like the water bottle pockets. Being a bit older and not as flexible as I once was, I cannot get the water bottle back in the pocket while wearing the bag. I buy a water bottle pouch (like a cheap MOLLE type pouch) and attach it to the forward area of the hipbelt for easy access. Other than that, I do like new packs a lot.
I just recently replaced my 25yr old Dana Design Terraplane (nearly 8# empty, nearly $500 new in the 90's) for an Osprey Aether 70plus (a little over 4# empty, $400 new). The crazy thing is that a lot of my old 90's gear is still perfectly good gear, but it is all much heavier than the new stuff I started replacing it with. I doubt, however, that the light gear will last 25yrs like my old stuff. Time will tell.
I do love Osprey gear but it seems SO similar to my new Atmos AG 65 I don't know if the minor extra features and higher end materials would be worth paying triple what I paid for mine 🤷🏻♂️ still, if money is no object then why not.
It makes sense since they're both using the same AntiGravity backsystem. I agree, I have no doubts it's comfortable, but personally I'd rather get an Atmos AG 65 for $200
I wouldnt hate on this bag if it had state of the art features that no other bag has even thought of but this is a glorified version of everything we have on the market and there's nothing new other than 3d printed parts, which as a person who has a 3d printer can tell you, nothing 3d printed at the momment can withstand the test of time. Nevermind weather, heat, and especially cold.
Hi! We’ll I disagree on the durability of 3d printed parts because industrial 3d printers are another world an they can use almost any material. There are car companies which 3d print engine parts and even U.S. army is testing and using 3d printed security mechanism inside huge bombs so I don’t think durability is a huge concern.
I agree the features are not as impressive as I thought. Probably is something to test in person but is definitely a backpack that I don’t need at all right now

Your home 3d printer is not the same thing as industrial machines.
Honestly, it just seems like a slightly newer Gregory Baltoro. The baltoro has all of this stuff and is half the price but is still an incredible backpack.
At least when I buy an expensive tent I tell myself it’s basically a mortgage payment since it doubles as a house. Can’t say I can use the same logic for something that is just meant to hold my stuff.
I bought a new 68L at a fire sale price in plaza des Argentina on Aconcagua from a climber in my group who was getting emergency evac'd due to hape. I'm glad I didn't pay more. The one hip belt pack is annoying. An outer, open topped pocket would be nice to stow gloves, a hat, or layer. It's hard to keep nalgene bottles in the pockets when you lean over (I have to caribiner all mine in so they don't keep falling out) and the worst/most annoying part- it is impossible to get a hydration pack into that zippered pocket. It's way too tight. I couldn't even get a partially filled 1.5L pack in there. And try to get the retention clip on a hydration pack you might accidentally manage to fit in there. I couldn't do it with a helper - the opening is way too small and tight and the zipper cuts up your hands when you try to fight your way in there.
I'm an osprey fan-boy but they could have done a much better job engineering/designing this one.

When it comes to gear like this, try to remember it's relative and to what exactly. I ride a $900 downhill skateboard at 60 mph because anything less won't handle the speed safely and then there's my $330 Swiss, full-face helmet I won't ride without and the cheapest USED, Stan Bogdan Fly Fishing reel for Salmon/Steelhead you can find will START...at $3000.00 Sleeping bags and tents are already at this price point and this is a Backpack! As essential for form and function as it gets. You will appreciate this Osprey pack MORE, every mile you carry it after the first. Bet on that. 😉
Love the design features, hate the price and can't stand brighter colors on my gear. I know the blues, reds, yellows and whatever are super popular but I have always preferred more earthy colors.

Comparing this backpack to photography backpacks in 30-40liters range, which many of them cost $400 - 450 this Osprey are actually "normal" price taking into account they are gonna handle heavy weight much much better... But there is Arther just below $300

And if that is the most comfortable he has ever worn as an experienced backpacker I‘d say it’s worth it.
Roughly the same weight, ventilation, and functionality of an Alice pack, for 5 or 10 times the price. I'm kind of impressed.

Or through in another $200 and get a seriously rugged, no-silly features, and fully custom fit pack from McHale Packs in Seattle, WA.
So many people don't realize that this is not a product to be sold in large quantities its mostly just to show of what they can do when is money is no object

I carry 25kg+ equipment for my daily Alpine climbing so I always needed versatile and durable rucksacks. I have Atmos 65 (68 l version) - the price was 195€ (May 2021) and had UNLTD Airscape 68 (March 2022) - the price was 620€. Both are great rucksacks and when registered with almighty warranty... BUT UNLTD was 3.2 kg, which was 900 g heavier than Atmos... that is A LOT. I don't see the price difference between 200€ or 600€ as it is the gear I need daily... I think that Osprey missed the target users with UNLTD... not for hiking long distances but travel perhaps, like Interrail trips or so...
I have a big burly ArcTeryx pack that I use for multi-day climbing trips because of the weight of the gear, and this Osprey looks like it would be good for those types of missions, but the price, omg, the price.
Just curious. My atmos 65 squeaks on the top frame when I walk and I kinda hate it. Does the unltd squeak like some of osprey’s other packs?

Can you do a review of the Mountain Hardwear PCT 70L
I have a bone disease on top of minor scoliosis and I don't see much reason to buy the Osprey UNLTD rucksack when I can spend half that money on the ATMOS AG 65.
Last week I did bought all my solo camp hiking gear (have car camping gear for my family) and I spent 2.4k for all the gear. When someone trying to get in needs to do that then considering this bag is almost non-existing. Why spend 700 dollars for this bag when you can get the next best thing with their ATMOS for 300 to 340 dollars? Use that extra 360 dollars for other gear you will need like the boots/shoes, clothing, a better sleeping pad, ect.
I do think this bag was geared towards people who try to collect every single gear out there or at least those that have different set ups to pick from of ultralight or heavy. Osprey might not do this again, so I guess you may as well buy it for the 3D printed support.
I wonder how it compares to their atmos pack. They’re basically the same pack minus the 3D printed parts.
Exactly my thoughts, kept comparing this to my Atmos 50 (version 1) & they appear equal.
@@memathews right? And you get a second hip pocket. Just bought the recently updated version 2 and love it so far. I’m used to using a pack my parents used when I was a little kid that had a 70L+ capacity and a painful hip belt. So nice to have the AG suspension.
@@Rydoge7 Precisely! And Atmos has the front stretch stuff pocket. My v1 50 also has the two side-zip front pockets under the front stretch stuff pocket and the side compression straps can be moved to inside the side pockets so those pockets can expand much larger. But your v2 has fit options my v1 doesn't offer, and your v2 has better shoulder strap padding, bigger hip belt pockets, a sleeping bag compartment, and built-in rain cover--although I get a 3.6 lb weight as a consolation prize 😉 Still, Atmos is everything but the 3D parts and the big price tag, I don't get the appeal except as a branding move (since we are talking about it lol).

I think this will open the door for others to charge more for backpacks if it sells well. While this may warrent the price, I expect next year there will be a lot more $500, $600 packs that are no better than the current iterations.

You can save $200 and come away with much more comfort and capability if you get yourself a completely American made Hill People Gear setup. You won't find it at REI so most won't find it at all, but Osprey trying to charge this much $ makes HPG a no-brainer. Hands down the most comfortable pack at the end of the day.
It's basically a glorified Osprey Atmos AG 65, which I got for $200
Might have missed it in your video list but have you reviewed or used Thule backpacks?? Has been my go to and always worked so never felt the need to try other brands but don't see a ton if others using them. Am I just the weirdo that loves them or are they just not as common lol?
I am considering this pack but I'm not sure about the 64 or if I only need a 50. Can I comfortably use this pack partially filled? The Atmos is my alternate choice.

The people crying about the price point were never going to buy it and were never the demographics that Osprey had in mind. Like me complaining about the price of a Mercedes G-Wagon....I was never gonna buy one...soooo why should I complain that it costs too much....
It's the apple marketing. This is now the most expensive backpack they make so all the other ones don't look so expensive when they still are.
That's just the nature of social hobbying - the most vocal/active participants aren't enthusiasts, they're gate keepers who think it's their right to dictate how the hobby is to be conducted.
It's like the people who buy $2000 LV purses. They think more expensive=best so they don't think twice lol
It's because when this sort of product has success it pushes up the prices for all the other gear.
Remember back when a $400 GPU was the absolute top of the line? And now thanks to people buying increasingly ridiculously priced hardware $400 gets you an entry level sku that is hardly better than the previous gen, and if you want something midway you need to spend $800, and the top of the line is like 2k.
Same with phones, 10 years ago $600 for a phone was really expensive, now there are $1500 phones which is just ridiculous.
On Ospray website, it shows the lid covert to day pack, not Fanny pack. Did they change that?

There are reasons why someone would pay a premium for a pack, but you have to step outside of your own bubble. My pack (Kuiu) in total was about $650. 66L, 3.5 lbs, by far the best hip belt I've ever used, quite adjustable, comfortable and breathable on the back. But why this over a an even lighter pack? Because it pulls double duty for both backpacking and hunting. You can pack out a ton of meat and comfortably carry the weight. That's worth it for my uses, especially compared to the backpacks I see people use that can't handle a mere 30 lbs.
my osprey anti gravity atmos AG65 does most of the same stuff and it was only like $300 or something

I'd consider it if I where going out on longer trips more frequently. The Atmos has been good so far, at that price delta, I see alot I like, but not ~$500 worth of like.
Hard to imagine $700 worth of material there. That’s even more than dynema. Also, it would need to weigh no more than 1.5 pounds. ADJUSTABILITY? No. I’d rather order by size. All adjustability does is add weight, etc.
Next to impossible to get me into anything other than my REI Flash 55.
For how much it coast, I would want the whole thing made of at least 500D

Dan, you know full well that it isn't. It means that the weight of your gear in your pack is further from your hips and back, throwing you off balance and making you work harder as you move around.

Great backpack for people who want to carry 30kg. But then again who wants to carry 30kg.
If this is $700, maybe it shouldn’t weigh 2.5kg. As if the weight doesn’t matter to any of us who are carrying it on our backs.
Like it's $700 and still not made from DCF? C’mon Osprey. Give us an Atmos with full suspension that weighs 1kg then we’ll be impressed.

Exactly: who wants to carry 30 kg. The back isn't the issue. Apparently, this pack carries super well, just like the Fjällräven Kajka, another expedition-grade lugger. However, all of this doesn't change the fact that all the weight you carry goes to your knees, no matter how comfy your back feels...
How much load can this backpack handle?
To me it sounds a bit on the heavy side??

That backpack would have been very helpful when I went on my latest hiking trip on the Western Uplands trail in Algonquin Park in Ontario, Canada.
