- This asymmetrically crocheted design can become either a shawl or scarf and easily worn as both! It features a wide panel of 4 stitch basketweave along the side which resembles the look of bacon! This is a wonderful edition to any wardrobe, especially if you want to add a splash of color and texture to your outfit. This design is also completely reversible!

Skill Level: Intermediate
Yarn: I used 3 hanks of Youghiogheny Yarns "Woolly Yak" (20% Yak, 70% SW Merino/10% Nylon, 435 yds, 100g/3.5 oz), in color "Puroclastic," but feel free to use any brand of fingering weight yarn. You will need approximately 1300 yds.

How wonderful, I’m using a thicker yarn, but a larger hook than called for. The first try was the recommended size of hook, but there was no drape, so I went up two hook sizes. Love the feel of it now, wonderful pattern! God bless
