What is this, I come from a shitty day and I get this? A theater tributes update and it has MY USERNAME in the title because you took my silly request...I wish I had a cooler username lmao. Well, that was quick, thank you so much for doing it, guess I needed this madness of screaming Russians especially today! Love your channel so much!!
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Pierre’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation
i can’t believe I stumbled on this comment again. This gave me an existential crisis. I spent forever trying to figure out what physics jokes were in TGC. Then I found another meme with the same lines and I realized it’s like a rick and morty meme or something and i hate you
Why did I write this long of a comment and what am I doing with my life 1:22 AND ANATOLE KURAGIIIIIN 1:48 WHOOO ARE YOU TO TELL ME ANYTHING 2:47 the intense bleep bloops from Pierre and Anatole 3:14 whoooooOOOOAH OH HOW SHE BLUSHES HOW SHE BLUSHES MY PRETTY 3:46 FOR PETERSBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURG 4:02 so loooost and alone whoah whoah whoah 4:09 Pierre’s ‘WHOAAAAH’ in The Abduction 4:20 ‘a love letter’ and ‘happiness freedom and life’ at the same time 4:29 Pierre’s Abduction part is really clear here 4:38 the end of the musical, but not really 4:46 NATALIE NATALIE NATALIE 4:56 iiiii wiiiiill looove you Anatoleeeeee 5:02 NATALIE NATALIE NATALIE 5:43 just say YEEEEEEEEEEEEES 5:55 The Abduction/The Opera duet is strangely great 6:30 hey Balaga ho Balaga hey hey ho Balaga hey- I’D TICKLE YOU ALL IF I COULD 7:04 and up to the porch, this was Hélène’s brother, Anatole Kuragin 7:30 this duet is ironic 7:50 thank God, hell is over
Yep. A lot of other parts lined up mysteriously too, including Sonya’s “a rush of cold air…” and “The whistle was answered and the maidservant ran out,” the beginning of when Anatole goes to abduct Natasha. Plus “This was Helene’s brother” when he’s up at the door, among other things.
Omg this is amazing!!! I've been wanting this for so long, thank you very much♥ Btw, I'm just at the start of the video, has anyone been able to hear the "PETERSBUUUUUUUUURRGG!" part?
Is it bad that I'm listening to this minor scale madness and it's genuinely giving me anxiety listening to it but I can't quit? Is it bad that I'm listening to this while I research high-functioning ADHD because I can't focus on schoolwork? Is it bad that the research is actually making my life make a lot more sense?

russia *intensifies*
This sounds better than Prologue with the two casts in sync
Me: ok brain just focus on ur final u can do this
My last two brain cells:
All I heard for the first couple of seconds was "WOOOOooOOAAAAHhhhh"
IronicAndPunny i literally thought it was just the abduction and then i remembered there’s other stuff happening
this is LITERALLY what is playing in my head at all times
"I cannot follow the opera" me too Natasha.
The Opera won the hunger games and even cheered for itself
*me:* yo pass the aux cord
*friend:* you better not play trash
*me:*
PLAY IT AT THE SLOWEST SPEED POSSIBLE, IT SOUNDS LIKE SATAN IS RIPPING YOUR SOUL APART WHILE SCREAMING IN DEATH METAL ELECTROPOP -
It does
p a i n
This turned on my fight or flight response
I love hearing Marya saying "YOU WILL NIT ENTER MY HOUSE SCOUNDRELLL" as soon as Anatole enters the opera lmao
I dont know i find this kind of funny because one second i hearing charming then the next i hear josh's part in the abduction
is this what you hear when you enter the gates of hell?
Maegan Mcweird no heaven
I love when you can randomly hear helene screaming charming
The Abduction + The Opera sounds so cool
5:15 sounded cool as hell. NATALIE
Do you think god stays in heaven because he's afraid of what he's created?
Why did I write this long of a comment and what am I doing with my life
1:22 AND ANATOLE KURAGIIIIIN
1:48 WHOOO ARE YOU TO TELL ME ANYTHING
2:47 the intense bleep bloops from Pierre and Anatole
3:14 whoooooOOOOAH OH HOW SHE BLUSHES HOW SHE BLUSHES MY PRETTY
3:46 FOR PETERSBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURG
4:02 so loooost and alone whoah whoah whoah
4:09 Pierre’s ‘WHOAAAAH’ in The Abduction
4:20 ‘a love letter’ and ‘happiness freedom and life’ at the same time
4:29 Pierre’s Abduction part is really clear here
4:38 the end of the musical, but not really
4:46 NATALIE NATALIE NATALIE
4:56 iiiii wiiiiill looove you Anatoleeeeee
5:02 NATALIE NATALIE NATALIE
5:43 just say YEEEEEEEEEEEEES
5:55 The Abduction/The Opera duet is strangely great
6:30 hey Balaga ho Balaga hey hey ho Balaga hey- I’D TICKLE YOU ALL IF I COULD
7:04 and up to the porch, this was Hélène’s brother, Anatole Kuragin
7:30 this duet is ironic
7:50 thank God, hell is over
this is what happens when andrey isn't here
Pierre: and ask you for your hand
Natasha: yes! Yes!
That was actually really beautiful (also did anyone else notice “if you love me say yes” “IIIIII WIIIIILL LOOOVE YOOOOOU ANATOOOOOOOOOOOOLE”
Yep. A lot of other parts lined up mysteriously too, including Sonya’s “a rush of cold air…” and “The whistle was answered and the maidservant ran out,” the beginning of when Anatole goes to abduct Natasha. Plus “This was Helene’s brother” when he’s up at the door, among other things.
i dare you to do this again but with both casts
i hate myself too
I think I’ll turn that dare down ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@theatertributes2233 you could do this with ghost quartet?
"I'd get down at my knee and ask you for your hand"
" YES, yes I love him"
This made me happy ^^
I must admit the latter half of this sounds really cool
This is my special hell
OH MY GOSH 7:10 SOUNDS SO GOOD
Kellie Ketchum YOU WILL NOT ENTER MY HOUSE SCOUNDREL
I love how loud the "everyone raise a glass WOAAHAHAO" WAS.
I was gonna say something witty but this completely derailed every train of thought I had bc I can’t think of anything
Can I just say this is the most satisfying? thing, just the slow desent to calm about midway through is perfect
You know that song that if played is supposed to usher in the apocalypse? I think this is it. (And I love it)
I love how at the end it’s just The Opera
This is how hell must sound
*heaven
Two types of people
omg 7:32 helene and pierres overlapping voices made me N U T
i heard no one else around 2:40 ish???
i think i heard the “all the moscow ladies are mAaAAD ABOUT HIM” lmao
holy shit you hear “natalie natalie natalie if you love me say yes” and then natasha fucking goes “I will love you anatollllllllle”
last time i was this early, the great comet was still on broadway.
anyways this is great, thank you for this artwork
I love that you can clearly hear Anatole at the start and letters the whole way through
It's kinda cool when you hear Anatole's part in Letters and in the background Natasha's "I will love you Anatole" (at 4:55)
this is absolute chaos oh my gosh
3:45 for *PETERSBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURG!*
This is so anxiety inducing
I really liked your descriptions at the beginning.
Thank you!
The Opera wins every time
This makes me unreasonably happy. Where has this been my entire life??
grotesque and amazing!
This is the most accurate representation of my thoughts during school.
why am i hearing schuyler sisters in here am i in the wrong musical
W H O W A N T E D T H I S
At 1:23 I heard Marya’s Anatole KurAGIN-
Dude the stomps in the opera behind pierre's singing is half beautiful but also intimidating
I'm so salty that UA-cam DIDN'T GIVE ME THIS NOTIFICATION
Haven't watched this yet. I hope it goes well.
1:07
I CAN HEAR “SUuUuUuUDAY MORNING tIME FOR CHURCH”
5:04 Actually sounds good?
This is what I want to hear at death
ur the greatest comet
(yessir)
Omg this is amazing!!! I've been wanting this for so long, thank you very much♥
Btw, I'm just at the start of the video, has anyone been able to hear the
"PETERSBUUUUUUUUURRGG!" part?

“Natalie Natalie Natalie if you love say yes”
“I will love you Anatole”
This sounds like an anxiety attack
It's beautiful
This is hell
4:44 leads into Anatole and Natasha's holy duet
That's so cool! You can hone in on one song (I found Moscow) and follow it through!
Alt title: What's happening in my mind when you ask what's wrong
Beautiful.
i just hear the ball tbh
I heard Pierre saying get on his knees
I love the Natalie Natalie Natalie (I'll do anything for yooou)
*OOF*
Subscribed
Heh.
I just hear balaga in the back at one point but I can never hear the duel 😂 I’m trying so hard
kinda sounds cool at 7:08 tbh
3:13 I HEAR AMBER SCREECHING
yESSSS
i love this
Somehow both prologues together sound better than this
Could you do the same thing except with the off Broadway and on Broadway version at once
*nervous laughter*
what the fuck
Is it bad that I'm listening to this minor scale madness and it's genuinely giving me anxiety listening to it but I can't quit? Is it bad that I'm listening to this while I research high-functioning ADHD because I can't focus on schoolwork? Is it bad that the research is actually making my life make a lot more sense?
Can you PLEASE do a video on the old, 5 hours long Phillip Glass opera, Einstein on the beach? (Thank you SOOO much!)
Tell me why I mostly heard Lucas
What app did you use to make this?
why?
In the words of Hanschen Rilow... "Why not?"
omg 7:32 helene and pierres overlapping voices made me N U T
What the fuck
