Directly North of the lighthouse (starter area) there is a "town" shown on the map, which is actually only a single house, and it contains tech. After building the ATV, craft an axe, pick and 2 stone spears, and drive through the trees (North) to the house, and either kill the zeds or stealth into the house and grab the tech / loot. After cleaning up the area, jump onto the road and continue to wherever "base" is going to be. Super helpful to literally have your first tech a few minutes into the game.

It looks like that you have to earn the points to learn different tech, so you need to prioritize what you learn first, no use learning the fridge tech until you have power tech before hand. This could be great new idea for this game, I love it lol.
This reminded me of an incident when a person pays the cable bill only to have the electricity shut off. Talk about having a cart before the horse!
The Infected is my favourite game to watch. Can’t wait for the series!

wow, not even 5 minutes in and this looks like a whole new game IMO, super happy to see they re-vamped it and can't wait to see what's to come.
Yeah, I haven’t played this in ages, started a new game today and was immediately thinking “WTF?!?”
I can’t remember how the game started, but I know there wasn’t an quad, or even seasons.

Loving this update so far. Make sure you take a good, thurough look at the tech. There seems to be several changes to it. For instance Butchering is now a learned tech, barn too. Great video GameEdged!😎👍
Oof the grind of this game. I agree the vambies need some work. The tech points is a huge upgrade. Good video though, can’t wait for more Sunkenland!

You can disable the trees from respawning for a more challenging playthrough, as well as to see how your presence effects ecology over time.

red wood forest is my favorite place that's where I started building a base. I do mise the zambies we had before.

You CAN turn down the damage the enemies do, you CAN choose how they attack, or you CAN disable them entirely. So you can customize how and when you encounter them.

I know the enemy AI still needs work, but I actually like the direction he took the enemies as far as looks. Monsters is actually out of the box these days, anything other than zombies...

That 4 wheeler just isn’t worth the trouble to me. The truck is ok though.
I love the new map, but EU4 keep crashing on me after a little bit of play so I reverted back to main branch. Will wait till it is available there.

GE THIS is the game you have to wash your hands before you eat 😁 I know I bug you. I'm sorry. I'm in the same boat. Green Hell and The INfected wash your hands, Subsistence don't have to wash your hands to eat but you do to avoid infectinations LOL IDK what they'll do with sunkenland and mist.

I feel the same about the enemies. I am at the point now that I just turn them off and play it as a normal survival game
I watched someone play this a while ago & it looked pretty cool, but I was put off by all the roadsides looking the same. Literally every road I saw traversed just had big rocks on either side, no variety.
Has this been improved yet?

The last update had turned me off of this game. The adding for a whole new map then adding in all those new crazy enemies had just killed me enjoyment. I liked it with the vambies. Willing to watch the game again because its gameedge.
