The Cataphract Ekdromoi trio fight is one of my favorites tbh, it seriously caught me off guard the first time

It's cool in theory, but I find the trio don't have good synergy. The Cataphract naturally gets distracted by Kate, leaving the two Ekdromoi, who are weaker then their other encounter since they replace the uber laser lance with a double machine gun, to face you alone, letting you mulch them without trouble to then do a 2v1 vs the Cataphract.
Honestly I think dropping Kate and having this be a true 1v3 would've been way better.

@@IamlordEVIL I agree that Kate shouldn't've been there, but that doesn't lower it very much. I'll also admit that the Ekdromoi are kinda a breeze, but such things hardly lower my opinion of this as a creative and interesting duo fight

@@lordgzstg6181 I haven't played this mission in months, but yeah. If you're having trouble just hang back a bit and let Kate pick her dance partner, try to keep the other enemies between you & them and that should let you focus on whichever one you get.

I think most, but not all, LC’s have countermeasures. The weak sniper ones don’t, but the regular and High-Mobility ones do.

This was such a great level especially the first time. I was expecting maybe some LCs/HC at the end but not that trio. The Ekdromoi are not very challenging but them alongside the Cataphract makes for a great battle.

Is Allmind connected to BAWS? I remember it is an independent weapon dealer in the lore

I don't think so. In the original mission when you are investigating the BAWS facility on behalf of the RLF it appears her drones were the ones that made the facility go offline and killed everyone there. Most likely to keep the secret of the Corel well, that BAWS had kept secret, their own for the Coral Release Project. And in this mission I think it is much the same to stop the PCA from finding the Coral, and test Raven to see if they would be a good candidate for the Coral Release Project.

Afaik, no. ALLMIND is the 3rd party amongst all other factions, working behind the scenes, laying low, and pretending to simply be a support system for mercenaries on Rubicon.

BAWS works with the RLF and ALLMIND doesn't like them. It's sort of implied that ALLMIND is allowing the Corps to win throughout NG++, and that all the other factions are inept without her intervention.

if you stop moving for a second, it turns off your boost mode and you start walking
quickboosting will put you back into boost mode and you'll start skating again
