Using weapons in VR is as cool as you'd think it is. The first time I saw it myself I was like, "shit, I can aim down the sights and everything!" Like you close one eye, bring the sight up to eye level, and pow pow. You'll find yourself naturally getting in to shooting stances, and that feel of just laying someone out in VR is just awesome. That might sound weird, but I'm not a homicidal maniac, I don't even own guns, but god damn it just feels great to mow people down in a harmless VR environment.

When speaking about VD please don't mention internet speed as it confuses people, it's your own network speed that matters , not your ISP speed.

@@haydenhembree7015 afaik you stream your pc directly to your quest via router, it's not goes through internet so your ISP speed doesn't matter. Your router bandwith and speed matter
@@haydenhembree7015 LAN (Local Area Network) versus WAN (Wide Area Network). LAN is the network within your house. It's run by your router. WAN is what your modem lets you access. That's the internet. Streaming VR from your computer to the Quest with Virtual Desktop uses your LAN. How good your experience is is controlled by how good your equipment is.
Internet speed only has an impact in multiplayer games.

Yeah I hear people say they hated it but I love it
I have a blast playing the game. The missions are short, but very immersive. I have a stable 90 fps with my 1080ti and I9 9900K. Besides the gameplay, the mini documentaries in the gallery are of excellent quality and alone are worth the 60$ in my case. Do know, that I am huge ww2 fan. Can't wait to play more!

loving the content you are putting out for the quest 2, would love to see some more stuff as I have recently bought a Quest 2 based in your feedback on it. Loving it so far, not sure about the price tag for MOH though, but it does look like a fun game. I like the look of these types of games where you get to use period weapons and its a little more real.

You look like you were having so much fun with the game's mechanics. Throwing cleavers, single-handed shotgun reloads and pushing people off the train. NICE!

@@budlikycz2445 yh you would still be able to play, i play with very small playspace and dont have any issues. I would suggest getting the quest 2 tho bcos its cheaper than the rift s and it can do everything the rift s can do and more. You can choose to play by connecting it to a PC for a larger variety of games available and better graphics, or you can play with it standalone.
Damn, this game looks sick! When I get my Quest 2 in a few days, I’ll be picking this up for sure!

same, im considering refunding it and buying cyberpunk instead. The levels are boring (shoot 5 guys then get a loading screen) my current playtime is 0.5 hours and most of that is stood in those cutscenes with people talking, wtf did i download 165GB for????
To play with VD you actually don't need an internet connection. Just a good wifi connection (with internet access or not). Make sure to have a 5ghz network set-up for you Q2 and your computer connected to the router with a internet cable.

with that high price tag, they need to have their things alright... such as the bugs, the snap turning, high risk of motion sickness, horrible sniper scope, etc.
I really think it is quite good of their first VR title, but they should have looked at other popular VR titles for some inspiration.

I havent played Anne Frank house but i cant imagine that game can be even less serious than this Medal of Honor gameplay style :D It totally contradicts the gallery.
@@jackalcz2806 Like, true, but I know you're just parroting IGN. I don't know how much of a focus there is on Gallaries, but a game wants to pull you into their world so you enjoy playing longer. Knowone want's to be in the war, we only want to see a fantasy of it. Regardless, making a game out of wars is not going to be accurate as you don't want to bring to life the death and diseases of trenches or the silent screems of towns bombed - all you really want to do is experience the glory of it all.
It is not parrottiong IGN. It just feels to me that killing nazis is made like it is fun and they totally dehumanized them. Like here, have fun while these stupid nazis are charging towards you, or kill these stupid nazis chilling there. While normally, they were also normal people that were forced to fight in war. It should feel like it is neccesary to kill them when they try to play on this serious string. Sure maybe enjoyable that you survived and kill them. Instead of them killing you. Like i just dont like how serious they try to advertise this game and then make this cartoony style game without depth, that is just about shooting nazis. They also said this game is just about shooting nazis. If that is what IGN said or whatever review company. I agree with that. Because it is stupid combination, and not dignified for veterans that participated in those galery clips.

But, regardless, you are right, but VR can only do so much and although the incentive is not there, I'd argue that mindless killing is what it feels like to be in a war. There's no point - it's not a necessity. It's just killing for the sake of needing that person dead. But I mostly agree with you.

Played it,loved it! The Emersion in room mode is absolutely replicant of being in a war!
I had sore legs and I wasn’t carrying all the gear they would of! The ducking is realistic when he says “keep your head down” that is hard to do while walking forward let me tell you! I was walking like a crab while holding the smg up in the air! Getting on scope is tricky and using bipods. The game has bugs but if this is the start of vr games I’m very excited for the next Medal of Honor! And it’s good to see respawn back to making what they love! WAR GAMES!

If you’re planning on playing this via virtual desktop wirelessly on quest I suggest not buying ANY games through oculus. Buy all your games on steam.

This looks amazing ! Great video as always. My only question is what are the difficulty settings like and what difficulty is this video on? I always like playing games on the most intense difficulty so I don’t end up beating a 60$ game in a matter of hours in one sitting lol. I’m going to have to build a pc for this game for sure!

As die hard medal of honor fan, i was a little disappointed, the load screens are getting on everyone's nerves as well as how unoptimized the game is but im sure they will patch it up in a month, have no idea why it is rated M feels rated T. its descent but just needs several things tweaked before it can become great

The “awkward silences” are when you are supposed to make eye contact with everyone to see the look in their eyes such as a look of fear about the mission. It is the moment you are supposed to link with the character not throw things at them xD

Respawn is a great development studio, just a shame that their lack of vr experience really shows on this game. Hopefully it can be used as a means to improve their next game

VR is really starting to gain some traction in recent years. Finally AAA studios are taking the platform seriously so we might see more polished, high-budget games come out in the next years.
People need to buy headsets for that to happen. But resplendent are the original dev team at activism on who created cod modern warfare and that put cod on the AAA list.

@@FG-td4vs quest plays mobile games it doesn’t have the power to run AAA rpgs for a meaningful and lengthy campaign with expansive open worlds. No with quest 2 you live in a box with windows. Unless you plug the link cable in and connect to a pc but then isn’t “no wires” a selling point for quest? Not to mention Facebook is a slimy corporation. It’s easy to sell big numbers when you have a huge platform to advertise to.

I’m using an RTX2070S and it works fine. The minimum spec is an RX480 which are real cheap or get the RX580 on an AMD multi core cpu work fine. Some people are shills so never trust just one source.

Looks insanely easy. Watch Mike laugh with glee after shooting two guys without any feeling of danger is...lame to say the least.
Its got great detail and looks alot of fun in parts but still that old school feel of being taken along a set path it needs a multiplayer or a large free roam area of objectives if multiplayer looked this clean it would be amazing

@@chris9989 I had the same concerns, but I've seen people run the game just fine down to an i7 2700 and a 980 ti, so im fairly sure the minimum specs are just exaggerated

I’m so glad Medal of Honor is back from the dead, taking back its rightful place from Call of Duty.
Essentially, we're paying $60 for nostalgia because every review I've seen is negative to luke warm positive. What a disappointment. I LOVED the original MOH for Playstation back in 1999....sigh.

Take half of that to get VorpX to play CP77 in VR and spend the other half on something nice :D
