- Medal of Honor Above and Beyond is a real VR game. Totally designed for virtual reality and only playable with a VR headset. So it has some amazing VR functionality. Is it the best VR shooter out there? No... not at all. Is it still a fun single player campaign though? It was for me. It had some flaws for sure, but my review wouldn't be as harsh as some other ones out there just because I am obsessed with WWII and the history around that time period.

Yeah, everything like ammo, equipment, tools, etc. are being hauled around on carts too. It's not about wheelchairs :D

I remember playing medal of honor on my old box, that game had some of the best missions I've ever had in an fps game. It was the one with the first mission being d day and then the submarine one
Frontline. Which pretty much was one mission on the frontline then you turn into a spec-ops shitbird.

It was all downhill after that first mission, can't top D-Day in terms of an opening video game level.

Having played it through myself, I found the story mode to be good and longer than I was expecting .. although the game did feel arcady at times I did enjoy it. What I did like however was that the devs didn't hide away all the the Nazi based material from around the place, it felt like you were actually assulting a Nazi compound or breaking into one e.c.t... being a bit more immersive than companies that tend to shy away from showing it.
The missions felt quite large in their array, from the sneaking into bases to the submarine (no spoilers).
Weapon reloading was alright and was obvious it was desined more for convinience rather than simulation, other than the sniper sights that took me by surprise.
I'd say if you're getting this game, do so with with a pinch of salt. It's good, but could be beter..
