"Hey There Parenthood" is a podcast where hosts Jeena Wilder, Drue Wilder, and Courtney Lindner delve into the triumphs and challenges of parenting and marriage. I've been following The Schoellers for awhile. This is the first time I've heard the full story of how Tyanna became ur daughter. Jon....I'm crying with cha❤❤ Tyanna has the best parents she could have ever ever wished for!! The best part..like Rhianna said...she fit right on in...lol!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this discussion with Rihanna and Jon. I admire them both along with baby girl. I can't believe we still have to explain why a black child is being raised by a white family or vice versa. Focus on the welfare of that child. Is she being loved. Kept clean and is happy. The story Jon told broke me regarding name calling directed to Tyanna. A child. Good for you, Jon, for taking action against this jerk. I love to see intermingling of culture. There is so much to learn from each other. We are spiritual beings just passing through and experiencing this earthly life. Let's love, it has no color. Bravo to the hosts.

I agree. I use to have a little issue because I thought that white people wouldn't understand us ect. But I think it's BEAUTIFUL, ESPECIALLY WHEN U HAVE A COUPLE LIKE THESE GUYS.
I've watched the Schoeller family from the beginning of their journey as parents. They've done a great job of raising their daughter. I'm an 81 y.o. African American woman who believes there's only one race.

I just love, love, love the Schoeller Family. Every Sunday morning around 9 am my time, I’m sitting and waiting for them to come on. Most of the episodes, I watch more than once. They are lucky to be a family. Right now, I think Tianna is more like Jon…she’ll try anything once.

I'm back. I absolutely enjoyed this episode, it being the most honest discussion from ordinary, young parents each from different backgrounds. Professionals, IMO, could take a lesson.
I hope you four get together again for further discussion on this vital topic.
As I said in my earlier remark, I'm 81; an African American woman. And, I'm a retiree of the US Army.
Being intentional when it comes to spending time and instilling values in your kids are very important when they are young. It was very important to me with my daughter and son as they were growing up. Now they are 31 and 29 and they love hanging out and spending time with their mom all the time. There’s been times my son would call and ask where my daughter and I were at hanging out without him😂. I love the relationship I have with my adult children and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Keep doing what you’re doing Wilder family and Schoeller family! You’re doing a great job!!!👏🏽

I so love the Schoellers and Rianna’s hair skills are better than mine! I’m a multiracial person, raised as a black woman, my daughter’s father is from islands so our hair is very different. Her hair is mine in steroids and I never got it down. But we figured out good product. She’s grown now and takes good care of her hair. But I admire her Rianna (sorry if not spelling it right.) and how much care she gives to Tiona. They are such a lovely family.

I truly enjoyed this episode of the life of a multicultural family. It was informative I believe this is the first time I ever listen to a video for an hour and half. Jeena and Drue I am not familiar with you guys, but I will be after watching this episode. I applaud both sets of parents I'm sure other parents may have learned a few things on all the topics you covered. Jon and Tyanna, I am familiar with you guys did a great job as always.
Oh my goodness! This was so refreshing. Thank you presenters and I will definitely check out your channel. I thoroughly enjoyed this discussion: the honesty, the emotions, the love. I do watch the Schoellers from time to time and the comments on Tianna's haircare are spot on but for me there is so much more to this family. Tianna is surrounded by pure love. You can see that she is secure and this is the most important thing. The bond between the 3 is so strong. May you continue to grow and develop in your commitment to each other.

My first name is quite odd and has twelve letters. The number of times people have made up words that they thought was the correct pronunciation.....😬
I'm black, but my name throws people off big time when they only know me by phone. One lady thought I was French, another thought I was a Pacific Islander. 😊 I love my name!
I've seen a few videos of the Schoeller family, recently. I've been jumping around out of order, but saw the one where they'd only had Tianna (sorry if it's spelled incorrectly) for a day or two, when she took off on her motor scooter and Jon's heart probably dropped to his toes while she was enjoying herself, and yesterday I saw her preschool graduation. 🙂
I think it's sweet that Rhianna mentioned in a previous video that her daughter's biological mother has been called "Tummy Mommy". 🥲

Hey Schoellers. My children are now adults, and for all these years I have not come across any perfect parent. Just keep doing your best, and I have been following you and i have seen that you are doing your best. Keep spoiling her, and balance it with discipline where required.
It's not going to be easy when she is a teenager, all teenagers test parents, just make sure that you don't disagree in front of her.
