This show had the most coveted "Let's trip with Primus" Zoltron poster and a mind-blowing version this song. Southbound Pachyderm is basically their Stairway to Heaven
I thought 16 minutes would be too long... Man was I wrong

And they got the entire Desaturating Seven album!! Lucky mofos with that setlist and seeing that extended pachyderm with DANEY FUXKING CAREY?! I just saw em perform that Rush album few weeks ago. And it was fucking amazing. I missed out on the Desaturating Seven tour...maybe they didn't come to my state, but one song I'll forever wish to hear live now is "the scheme" it's a shorter song too. So they could fit it in easily in the middle of Tweekers shit. I just wanna see and hear that bass intro knowing that song is coming...preferably sizzling like dem der

@@logicalschizoid_intp9698They didn’t say they were the best. They said they were two of the best. That means there are multiple “best drummers” in the world besides just these two. I would have thought that someone with logical and INTP in their user name would do better. But apparently you’re not among the best at being logical so that causes me to question if you’re actually an INTP.
Even a sober mind can appreciate awesomeness of this caliber. Drugs just amplify it.

So right IMHO. Never heard anything like them from Bonham, Pert or Moon. Bill Ward (Sabbath) also is amazing.

David Jean les said when they had Brain for the Brown album they went from having Neil Peart ( Tim Alexander) to John Bonham (Brain ). The analogy is spot on.
Tim Alexander has always been one of my favorites. Those beats on Sailing the Seas of Cheese and Pork Soda were just next level. He was the first drummer that I just couldn't interpret. I would here something like "Eleven" and try and replicate it and think, HOW IS HE DOING THAT?
You are right on that analogy. Though Les has always said that Tim made it sound like he and Ler had actually practiced. :)
As I live in New Zealand. The only way I get to experience awesomeness like this is by UA-cam. Thanks for posting this, and other great performances.
Seen this band 11 times from 1991 to 2018, from Lollapalooza 93 and Woodstock 94 to a local gym in Billings MT, this band will NEVER let yo down!!

@@janterrirocks Yeah I saw them there once, it was so sweet to see them jam from so close. Then like you said, after the show he kind of hung out near a door to the stage so you could walk up and say hi if you wanted I guess.

Two of my favorite drummers
I saw Primus open up for Rush and became an instant fan in the early 90's. Really wish I had gone to one of their standalone shows!
My first concert was Pink Floyd at age 14 at the Tampa Bay stadium, I saw a ton of other bands, than around ‘03 or so I saw Primus in a nice small venue in Tampa . I’ve been to a few concerts since then but those two were equal in the performance and entertainment and Primus is just these three dudes but they sound like a damn orchestra.
There the....Funk/experimental/ whatever the hell the genre of music Primus even is technically-Version of modern day Cream basically, as far as best Trio groups all time go I think they'd have to be Cream, Primus,and Rush, its gotta be those 3!, best trio groups all time.
I feel like the universe just took all my favorite things and threw them into a madlib, and this video was the result.

Lollapalooza '93. Tool,rage and primus with naked woman on stage. Last night of the tour....best night ever. My com pilot was good friends with the dude running the gyro ride and we gavehima ride home from tour. Backstage was mega Ill til 5 a.m.
