    I was the kid who won the chance to be in The Mask II. Wanna know what they did instead? When they eventually found out that Jim Carey had no interest in doing a sequel, I received $5,000, a leather jacket, a bunch of THQ games for the Super Nintendo and, when I got to talk on the phone to the woman who voiced Princess Toadstool (which was ridiculously awesome) on the cartoon, I got asked, "is there anything you wish you had from Nintendo"? I already had a N64 so I said I'd love Pilotwings 64. One week later, that's what I got in the mail.
    Nintendo is and was a fantastic company. I still have one of the letters from then and the jacket.

      Nearly every gaming magazine back in those days had someone answering letters in a humorous, often offensive way. Seems like that all went away in the early 2000's.

    • @agonleed3841
      @agonleed3841 7 років тому +8

      happycrank Ouija board is synonymous with kinda magic, spiritual, speaking into the void.
      Luigi is the second player in Mario Bros. Sometimes the BEST player gets Luigi to give the shit player a chance to play. So When Mario Dies, Luigi goes further. Showing whomever is Mario player all the traps ahead. And when he dies, Luigi, then you could technically say his ghost told Mario where to go.
      Plus it rhymes. Luigi, Ouija.....idk. It does.
      Take all of that or just part of that, and you still should get the joke

    Looking back after so many years, this is my favorite episode after all, I’ve noticed something kinda funny and a little creepy. When the Nerd is facing the camera, you will notice that his neck has a really weird tan and yet his head is at a much paler tone.
    This leads me to believe that in filming this episode, in order to get the lines right and look at and hold the magazines he’d cut of his head with editing software and then paste his head saying the lines later. It’s kinda genius, and after watching this time and time again, I’ve never noticed. Huh neat.
