My first album of Irish music: Old hag you're killed me. Never heard more beautiful music, never a more beautiful language. It was like coming home finally. Been hopelessly addicted to Celtic music ever since. ☘
Cant fecking wait for August when they back again ...sound as good as ever ...Paddy Glackin really adds to the sound.....such a pity Michael is no longer with us
De gnáth, ní bhíonn fonn orm freastail ar chomharcumann mo laochra cheóil fadó. Ach nach íontach an chomhlúadar anseo, beó, bríomhar agus an sean-gliondar ina gcroíthe. Is í seo an ceól sa Ríocht Dé ! 🥰
B’fhéidir nach smaoineamh ar an gcaibidil seo i saol an Bothy Band mar teacht le chéile fisiciúil an t-aon bhealach le machnamh a dhéanamh air - b’fhéidir gur smaoineamh é an Bothy Band atá á rá arís. And yes I’m stealing from Gladiator.
@@narmstrong69 ....maith thú as ucht an freagra álainn sin. Mo léar go deó ionsaí an aois orainn. Cheap mé go raibh Tríona ' análach' go deó agus lag intí féin an oíche úd a bhronnadh an ghradam saoil uirthí an seachtain seo chaite. Go mairfidh síad uilig chéad.
Real musicians carrying the legacy of generations before them, and the true universal language
I don't think that I've ever seen a reunion performance this filled with fire and life. Yes! Yes! Yes!

Thanks for the comment. Do you want me to add to the description? Thinking we should mention all members including those sadly no longer with us?
Don't forget Tommy Peoples. RIP.
Mícheál Ó Domhnaill missing but never ever forgotten
Couldn't agree more
Micheal. The man with the black velvet voice. So beautiful.
Only discovering this band at 61

Superb musicians, each one, great to hear them playing together again. Thanks for posting.
Tommy Peoples was irreplaceable as a musician and a man. God Rest. Also, this is wonderful to see and hear.
What a supergroup....great Belfast audience enjoying the night.
The same tune from the video from the 70's. You are the best Irish band for me!

Brilliant
Very emotional
Nice music considering they are a bunch of Worzel Gummidge cosplayers!
