The slow zoom-ins and zoom-outs. I love that edit. I think it’s very creative and it creates this hypnotic effect which feels very calming. Plus it just makes me fall asleep faster haha!

I had a one hour layover in Dallas recently, (first hour ever in Dallas) and I took a LYFT to Dealey Plaza to the see the assassination location, and when I got back I was riding a small high and that is where I witnessed a real Texas businessman six and a half feet tall wearin a cowboy hat, blazer and blue jeans with some sick ass boots getting a boot shine at the airport. Something about that hour just made me want to eat a steak and become an oil tycoon. But then I spotted my wife to my right 15 feet away, annoyed with me she said where have u been? Damn good 45 minutes in Dallas Texas!! That shoe shining was mesmerizing to watch. I tipped him 20 to show love. Glad I found your channel -Jason from Oregon
"Real' asmr is so much more relaxing imo. When somebody is genuinely performing a task it allows me to immerse myself so much more. This is as opposed to roleplay videos where they try but it's not quite as good.
Great transformation, Jason. I have some older Bruno Magli’s that have some wear on the heel and now I think I can give it a shot to fix them. It is the same type of wear that were on the toes of these shoes. Also, what brand shoe do you like better/recommend, Allen Edmonds or Magnanni?

Great video again! Relaxing and sensual listening to the soap being slopped around, the laces being removed from the stiff shoe, the brushes hitting the shoe in a patterned manner, and of course, watching your hair falling forward and gently bustling against your arm are all memorable moments of this video. I don’t know what I’m mesmerized more by; your brushing techniques or your long luscious hair falling down in our face as you work on the shoes. Very sensual indeed.
I thought this was an 'unintentional ASMR' video at first an I thought "hey, the sound quality is extremely good" but then I saw the two carefully placed microphones, good video btw
Now I aint no audio expert guy here, but I do wonder if there was a way to turn down your mic's audio capture capability and then change the levels on your editing software. This would make the audio more "binaural" for those that truly enjoy the asmr part of it. (Basically while you work on one shoe you'll hear out of one ear and not the other (as much) )... food for thought. ty ty for vids, keep shining
Hello Jason, great job. You are the Magnanni connoisseur, don't they have a finishing on the uppers that needed removed prior to adding the dye? Longer videos are quite fun as you can show everything, thanks for sharing!!
These 45+ minute videos are beasts. I can crank out a 15 minute video in about 5 or 6 hours including film time prep and take down. But these 45+ minute videos take me around 10 solid hours or more of work. Sometimes it can be easy, however, sometimes I make more work for myself. Great question!
