The first time I heard of the Comicstorian, it was when he was a guest on the "Kraven's Last Hunt" Back Issues, and I remember thinking "Who is this...interesting man?" The first time I met him in person, I stumbled upon him at Keystone Comic-Con. My brother was there, so that was a fun shared experience. The last time I talked to him face-to-face was either New York Comic-Con 2021 or 2022. Both of us were talking about the Hickman-less era of X-Men. Thinking on it now, I wish I had to told him how loved he was. This was before he started on his journey, but I also would have wanted to tell him how welcome he was in the One Piece community. How comforting it was that he was there in my feed every day.

Sal said it best that Bennys been a consistent part of his life for more than a decade and it’s hard to even envision the next decade without him💗love to all who are struggling ❤celebrate his life together

Hey Sal, just wanted to say sorry for your loss. Benny was a legend and will live on forever with the joy of comics he brought to such a wide audience. You 2 have been a part of my life for well over 5 years at this point and brought me into comics in a way I never was before. You guys rock, and I hope people realize the importance of the work you guys do.
Wouldn’t have blamed you if y’all took some time off. Thank you for still being able to get an episode out this week. We all appreciate it.
