Your videos have been helpful , i looked at a lot of different scooters such as the varla eagle one, the zero 8x, zero 10, zero 10x and many others but i finally settled on this apollo ghost 2022 and got lucky when i ordered a few min ago cause they have 15% off all scooters so i saved $330 now i just have to wait for it to arrive. Anyways thanks for making all these scooter videos.

Hey Tim great video. I was wondering do you think Apollo would ever agree to a comparison video of the 22 ghost and the 22 city pro?? I know the ghost is supposed to be off road capable the city is a super commuter but I'd still like to see and hear a break down of the specs comparison as well as a ride comparison. Thanks man.

    • @TimsElectric
      @TimsElectric  Рік тому +2

If I get a City Pro 22 I'd be delighted to compare them :) :)
They are very different however...much less power on the City (but still dual motors on the Pro)
The big thing is that all three will hit that 20mph/32Kph cruise speed which I like and feel safe doing on the city streets :)
I'll do a review/comparison as soon as I get one to try :)
      Great Idea :) :) @Antt Mann

    Hi Tim
I was thinking that the reason that the stem may not be able to hook into the deck is that the catch on the deck maybe installed the wrong way. Try turning the hook around so that the opened end is towards the kick plate.

@@TimsElectric ok the same issue for fold-clasp has come up now! It seems the hook is soft and is bending to weight! I took a single longer ride today no stopping 15km! Had to shift weight a few times to back foot and I know at times I was on the hook!
Yah from memory to the hook was parellel to deck now its pointed downwards slightly my fix will be stainless steel carabiners until apollo redesigns!
IMO it seems they did not closely look at girth of new stem effecting clasp system need to remember it is .5 inch bigger than old stem!

@Digi mine , I just went and measured to confirm a suspicion I had.
I measured the Zero 10x/Varla and it comes in at 40" and I thought yesterday while riding it that the handlebars seemed lower than the Ghost.
I measured the Ghost and I was right...it's approx 41" but I think I could rotate it up a bit more to almost 42"
Bottom line I'm happy with the height on the Ghost.
      However I'm only a bit over 6'
I've tried other scooters like the Dualtron X which was just way too low...but I'm really happy with the height of the Ghost :)
And as I mentioned I think I could rotate it more up..if that makes sense...when I screwed it down out of the box it looks to me like a simple thing to loosen and rotate but I'll leave it as I like the height :)
