As a mom I'm watching this as my 11 year daughter surprised me on mother's day. Even I should know these things - especially as I still menstruate it feels different when ur baby girl becomes off age🤕
I just got my first period a couple days ago and my week has been horrible. I'm getting mixed emotions sadness, angrier than usual, I didn't expect it to be that hard im only 11 , but my mom and older sister helped a lot. buying me pads and all that stuff. anyway, this video was very helpful.
I really needed this when I was younger, I started my period when I was 7 years old and I had no idea what was in store for me. And on top of it I've been so 'graciously blessed' to have endometriosis which is so so extremely painful and I wish they would have a video about that too. To educate younger women if they experience extremely painful cramps that keep you in bed balled up, throwing up, dizzy and feeling like your uterus and lower abdomen are in a blender. Oh and forget about eating cause you have no appetite when you're in pain like that. I know I'm ranting but it's a real struggle and I've been dealing with it since 7, Wow that sounds actually crazy. But that's life and you gotta do what you gotta do to get through.
ugh, so sorry to hear that you have to deal with that! Thank you for sharing your story, it may encourage others to visit their doctors for a diagnosis.
I'm 16 and FtM, I have my menstruation for years and even through I hate myself, my body, my cycle, I still watch this and it hurts so mutch, knowing that if I was born in right body I would never experineced this. Could you please do a video about periods of trans folks for the ones who are too shy to ask someone or to inform themselfs?
Hi Alex, thank you for sharing and for the suggestion. There are a lot of awesome people that share their stories about menstruating while trans. We like to follow ThePeriodPrince on instagram.
I prefer to say whenever I have my period "The Red Beron is flying again" or "I'm reenacting the exodus, I'm going through the Red Sea again" That video is good btw, explains menstruation in an understandable, calm way and the animations are sweet ^^
I wish I was a trans female. no periods but experiencing woman life I’m a cisgender female, sorry if this came off as offensive, also trans people are valid!!
Got my period at 9 I'm 22 now and it still 'kills' me every month and its NEVER regular. Once went 50 days without having one - couldn't have been pregnant, u might think thats lucky but the anticipation is bad and it made my next one horrendous. I've watched some videos that say one can loose 3-5 tablespoons of blood but I definitely loose a lot more than that. The only way I can slightly get through it is with TXA a drug usually used by emergency services to ease traumatic bleeds!
...... I’m 11 and I’ve been experiencing all the symptoms at 1:54 & my mom keeps telling “you’re gaining figure” and “make sure you’re prepared” (I’m not)

Story time We were in school🏫 and our uniforms are fully white.we all were quite young and had no knowledge about periods. Then my friend got a red stain on her skirt and I was shook and told her that she is bleeding. She got scared😱 and started crying😭. Then a teacher came and sended her home. Next day we all where waiting for her and when she came, she told us it was normal and every girl had it.😮😮 And we all started begging God to not let that day come but it is what it is 😄😄
