I love the Obsidian pattern too! It is so beautiful. I understand not making a make 9. I tried to have a plan like that and it didn’t work out. It’s too much pressure for me. I cast on what I can and get going on my projects. I realize that some take longer for me so i have a few easy wins available when I need to take a break. I’m looking forward to seeing your 2025 makes. Happy Knitting 🧶 😊
Oh as a Greek i believe the island you're referring to is Ikaria. Filoxenia=hospitality. The people there live a very slow and healthy life ...that is what makes them live longer. ❤
I did a make nine list once and found it completely took the joy out of my creativity. I have learnt that I like the impulsivity and spontaneity of making something I really like or need in the moment. Now days, I buy the yarn once the project is talking to me.
Thank you Helle for a lovely mix of kindness, creativity, dreaming and awareness of our impact on those around us. Your approach to projects and allowing yourself to change plans as needed is refreshing. I am embracing slow creating this year in my Knitting and Sewing. Enjoying the process, learning new skills and savoring the results. This episode was like a little meditation on looking forward in 2025!
You've always been one of my favorite podcasters. I love the calm energy of your episodes and the wisdom you bring us. I'm also glad I'm not the only one who ignores their list and hates being told what to do. Happy knitting 💚🧶🩷
Hello beautiful friend! Wow I love sitting with my knitting and baby on my lap and tuning in to your videos. I have found I am so drawn to American designers and allowing myself to full dive in to that curiosity. I find my plans are similar to yours and dreaming of knitting is absolutely a hobby unto itself!
Such a nice selection of patterns you showed! In the Netherlands we don’t have a lot of local yarn stores. Especially in the more rural parts where I live. My knitting inspiration comes mostly from vlogs from all over the world and from my knitting friends. Thanks
Dear Helle, Two years ago, I returned to knitting after a 20ish-year hiatus. I stopped knitting when I moved to my current city, where I could not find my yarn community or a local store that met my earlier experiences. You were my very first knitting video, and I devoured all of your content in short order. It took time for me to find other knitting content that fed my soul in the same way. This is a belated thank you for inspiring me and bringing me back to a long-dormant passion.
Oh my gosh, I just got goose bumps from reading your comment. That makes my whole UA-cam knitting endeavour worth it 🙏🏻❤️ Thank you for sharing and I wish you lots of happy knitting in the future 😘✨
I thoroughly enjoy your podcasts. My plans for knitting this year is to break it into quarters versus a full year. A balance of using some stash yarns and also looking for those new patterns and yarn. I am currently working on the Badger and Bloom sweater, just finishing the sleeves. I haven’t knit a cardigan before until now, I completed the Eva Cardigan, a very simple knit. Thank you for sharing your knitting inspiration, whatever you choose will be beautiful. ❤
I have created plans for my knitting and sewing this year and I'm finding that those plans are really helping me stay focused on what I'm going to knit and sew and I'm not going off at a knitting tangent. I also like to use what yarn I have and try and buy yarn for a particular project. I find it stressful to have yarn and fabric stashed away and not being used or planned to be used. I can understand that some knitters love having yarn available to them in a stash to consider and plan with. Luckily we are all different which makes life more interesting. I would like to knit some lighter sweaters too. With last year's cool Scottish summer I needed light sweaters.
I like your train of thought of planning and dream knitting as that sets a pathway for new ideas that just come to surface on their own. Dreaming, whether barrowed from something observed or something one invents, is what leads us to new accomplishments. It all starts with the dream. Very cool video, Helle. Thanks.
Thank you for your lovely calm video! Such a welcome relief of crazy news channels I've been watching. I like planning, but not long term planning. That's the joy of a hobby! Rosie
I am 100% with you on falling asleep with knitting in my thoughts/dreams. It is so soothing to me to let my mind drift towards patterns and yarn and all those lovely things! I don't remember if you've mentioned using CaMaRose Midnatssol before. I'm using it for the first time. I'm sensitive like you, and I think it's going to work well for me. Maybe that's something to hold with Drops Air. As for planning - I tend to think about 4-5 projects ahead at the most. I'm not terribly fast, and I don't like to accumulate excess yarn, so planning in tandem with my actual knitting and allowing for new inspiration to invade my life works best. :) As always, love your content! Thank you!
Oh what a fabulous podcast! I have already watched it twice for inspiration. your aesthetic is beautiful. I especially liked your bin of harmonious subtle colours considered for your fade. LOVE your podcasts.👏🤎
Thank you for so much inspiration! Even if half of these patterns are dream knits, we only have so much time we can dedicate to knitting and all of the patterns are absolute gorgeous ❤️
I’m on the dreaming side rather than plans! But I do intend to use my pantry yarn ☺️ Thanks for your thoughts and reflexions on life and knitting. Thoroughly enjoyed, Helle. Love your choices and dreams 🪁💕🌷
23:23 another option is to do a provisional cast on just below the colorwork on the yoke, knit the yoke bottom up and then see if you need a bit more length in the yoke while then knitting downward 🙏🏽❤ but yes, I know what you mean about seasons for bulky sweaters and seasons for lighter ones😊 I’ve definitely transitioned to the latter as the days get longer again and the crocus start poking their heads up ❤🪻
Thank you so much for bringing inspiration and peace into my day! I love all your "dream knit" ideas, but I hesitate to write them down because like you, I will rebel against my own order if it feels at all confining. It is so comforting to know there's a kindred spirit out there.
Hahaha and the second I unpause to continue watching after writing my other comment, you mention seeing someone knit it top down and now I wonder if it was mine 😂 ofc I already shut down my PC and returned to the couch to keep watching your video, and mobile isn’t showing my original comment for me to add on to, sooooo separate comment it is. Linka recommends alafosslopi/lettlopi/etc for all her patterns which is very warm and very scratchy. I substituted a slightly lighter yarn and picked a size up to accommodate my smaller stitch gauge. It is indeed very warm, but I was home for Christmas in Denmark and wore it comfortably several times! EDIT: I guess youtube just didn't like my other comment, 'cause now I can't see it yet again. Sigh. What I said was that I paused the video to go comment on my PC (was watching on my tv while knitting), and then unpausing after was why I said the above addition. My original comment was that I have knit one of the wilderness sweaters (the pawprint one) top down rather than the suggested bottom up, because like you I prefer to adjust length etc as I go, and that's hard to do bottom up. I also added shortrows to the back of the neck prior to starting the colorwork, which ensured a better fit. I'm moonykins on rav, should anyone be interested in checking my notes. It sounds daunting but it's actually super easy: just find your numbers and work backwards - cast on the number of stitches your size is supposed to end with for the neckline (I did an italian cast on too, for extra stretchiness), and work increases everywhere the pattern tells you to decrease. I literally held my book upside down to read the chart 😂 You're a far more experienced garment knitter than me, so if I could do it, so can you! Honestly the only mind-bending bit for me was ensuring I got the charts centered, but what I did was place a marker at my center front and then count outwards in either direction from there and mark every pattern repeat. Meant I needed to start in the middle of the paw chart to make sure the paw was also centered on the front, but again placing markers made that wayyyy easier to keep track of!
I love all your videos, Helle, but particularly enjoyed this one this evening. I gravitate towards turtleneck sweaters in winter, too. I love The Classic by Espace Tricot and Veera Välimäki's Monday Love sweater. Theyre both very simple raglans but Veera's short rows make for the most beautiful fit ❤ I look forward to seeing your knits this year! Emma
A lovely video and as my fellow Americans and wonderful Canadian neighbors have commented, relevant and soothing. I like to think of intentions before plans. As I seem to love buying knitting books one intention is to peruse those patterns first before buying individual ones on Ravelry. Also spending less time on Ravelry helps the pattern “ noise” !
I loved seeing your plans and absolutely agree that thinking about yarns and patterns is its own hobby, and perhaps an even more thrilling than actually knitting! I don't make many plans. I like to go with the flow. I have yarn for one sweater I will definitely make and have wanted to make for years but it took me this long to find the right yarn. It's Natasja Hornby's circe. That's next and after that whatever mood strikes, nobody knows 😂
I loved hearing about your contemplations regarding stash and knitting plans for this year. I've recently finished the Foxthoughts Pullover and had a blast knitting the yoke. I did frog it back a few times when I wasn't quite as pleased with the colour combinations and in the end I did modify it more than I though I would initially. I'm looking forward to follow your proces knitting up this amazing project!
Lovely as always Helle. I too don’t like sticking to MY plans…. don’t control me 😬😳🤣 case in point, I decided not to buy any more knitting patterns until I was ready to cast on, but over Christmas there were sales and I was pressing buy now! I love the wisdom of older people, always have. We talk quite often with an 81-year-old lady on our morning walks, she is fit in every aspect and so incredibly interesting. She has so much life in her it’s lovely energy to be around. I thought your paparazzi shot was a Kutovakika pattern. I recently joined the gym again after a very, very long time away and I am back loving my yoga teachers. Feels very good to be present in my body once again. Happy knitting and see you on the next episode thanks again, Karen 🙏🥰😘
I love the Drops Air held together with their Brushed Alpaca Silk. I’ve made several Sweater No. 14. I’m also making New Norma using Drops Air & Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair. Their mohair is very soft 😍
Thank you for this lovely video--as always I come away inspired! I've had the Umma cape on my favorites list--so I'm excited to hear you will be knitting it (and making recommendations for the English version). As always, my to-knit list just grew based on your thoughts.
I always love your videos, especially your quotes or word of the day ! It makes me think. Your knits are beautiful and I am always inspired to keep knitting . Keep doing it ! All the best from Rhode Island USA
Your Foxthoughts pullover is amazing! I have not seen that one before and am so impressed with the multiple colors at a time! For the bottom up colorwork sweater where you don't meet row gauge, my suggestion is to calculate whether you need to cut out rows or add rows in the yoke, then look at the design to see if it would be easy to adjust. I did that with my first colorwork yoke sweater and it was pretty easy to do because there were some vertical lines in the design. The Umma cape is beautiful but it is likely too warm for my climate (and life stage 😀)! Thanks for sharing your thoughts & inspiration!
Thanks so much for your inspiring knitting ideas 🙋♀️ For me your daughter is right to ask for the pattern and take the chance to make some compliments💕
Thank you for sharing all your good work and your plans. I am presently making the very berry cardigan. I think you would like it, because it is light, lacy and a cardigan… Have a wonderful day from Canada.
I like to keep my list of creations very fluid. I usually choose a pattern according to the yarn I have in my stash. I find it fun to dream and imagine different projects. Sometimes you just know what the perfect project will be . I have a growing collection of sweaters so I am focusing on taking my time, knitting with finer yarns and needles soI really enjoy the process.
Knitting plans for 2025 - well so far I have 39 items (mostly sweaters) in my Ravelry queue and two sweaters currently on my needles! No doubt there will be new patterns that I will want to knit as well. Somehow I don’t think I will get to all of them 🤣. I enjoyed hearing about your plans but can definitely identify with your not wanting to plan too specifically. I find enthusiasm for patterns changes over time. The ones that stand the test of time are often the ones that end up on my needles.
Helle, I was laughing out loud listening to you because my thinking aligns with you regarding stash yarn, and actually so much more. I wanted to just say “Ditto!” So thank you for sharing your personal experiences! 🙏
It’s one of the lovely aspects of different knitting communities. We are more likely to find our heart-peeps. I know for me I’m less inclined then to feel bad about the way I think about things or choose to do things! 🤗Your musings let me feel less alone and a lot less self-doubt!
Hello Helle, I have to comment again: The yak yarn is simply wonderful and probably very nice for Umma Cape. I knit with yarn and Umma Cape, but two different projects. I had the German version of the pattern for Umma which was not that easy to understand and had - I think - a few mistakes or at least unclearities. I contacted Karoline and she sent me the English version which was a lot better and had more details. Maybe she has this already in her mind, but would be great if all versions could be updated. It is such a great and unique design!
Yup I found a few new possibilities. I make a bundle in Ravelry with my favorites that have gotten my attention. I start looking there but new patterns on other favorites are also up for grabs. I have about 110 possibilities selected for this year and I will be lucky to make 15-20. No worries. Making a Jennifer Steingass sweater right now.
It made my day to see your episode today! I chose to just "chill out" as we say here in the mountains of MT. What a pleasure to see your face, I'm still looking for my lost relatives and my "Roots" in Denmark (Carlsen). I know now they are way up North in the Jutland. Hoping to find someone's grave in 3rd visit soon. Wishing I understood Danish language...never too late to learn. Jane from MT
Aw thanks so much for your much appreciated, kind words 🥰 I lived in Northern Jutland for six years (Aalborg) while I studied. I wish you luck on your next visit 🤞❤️
Love your videos as always! You really got me inspired to look into Eri Shimizu. However at the moment I am knitting the Gerda sweater by Aegyoknit but in a colorway inspired by your Snow Crocus sweater. 💚💜
A lot of what you said here really resonated with me, especially about more indoor sweaters and seeing a handknit sweater in the wild! I spotted a familiar looking sweater at the Saturday markets last month and I spontaneously asked the girl if she had knit it herself (desperately hoping she would say yes so that I can ask which pattern she used). Alas, she said that it was thrifted, so I asked her if I could please take a photo of it without her face so I could figure it out. She graciously gave permission and I spent that night trawling through my ig saved content to find it. I couldn't find it so I made a story asking my small number of knitting followers if they recognised it. Thankfully someone did!! Hallelujah! So that was my wild story for January 😄 Also, I have a list of patterns queued on my notes app which I periodically update late at night when I'm also trying to fall asleep where I note the pattern and which yarns I plan to use for it. I don't actually look at that list to be honest, but I write down whatever thoughts I have that moment just in case I forget and I need to remember what I thought many nights ago. I usually just knit whatever pattern inspires me at the moment and find a yarn in my stash that matches the gauge and quantity required.
A little synchronicity: the word Kind flashed through my thoughts the other night as an extremely important word to carry into the new year. As always, thank you for sharing with us!
Many thanks for sharing your intentions, plans, and dreams. I ❤ lists, but i need some flexability in them. I am trying to use up stash yarn + my pattern stash. I look back at a couple of patterns and really wonder what I was thinking at the time. The patterns by Eri Shimizu are right up my alley. Put a couple in my shopping cart, which i revisit once a month to edit. My priority is to replace my store bought sweaters first or sweaters i really need. Take care from Canada.
I’ve recently discovered you. I wish I was in Scandanvia. I’m in Australia very hot here. Dreaming of knitting some Nordic gems. We have very few yarn stores and very expensive yarn. But I’m so inspired to get going with my projects
I’ve been loving the wrought iron gate colourwork style like the obsidian sweater!! You should check out the ‘secret garden sweater’ by Elenor Mortensen if you’re into that. I just finished mine in a light merino/linen blend for an indoor sweater!
For v-neck consideration, check out Soft Outlines by Anne Hanson of Knitspot. It was just released this week and I plan to cast on this weekend. Simple yet elegant.
Re a classic turtleneck: Have you seen The Classic by Espace Tricot? Perfect. Her patterns (Melissa Clulow’s) are lovely. Simple, clean lines. Could be what you’re looking for.
I really enjoyed this episode, Helle! My plan for 2025 is to knit at least one pattern from four designers that I haven't knit a pattern from yet: Sari Nordlund, Anne Ventzel, Joanna Ang and Veronika Lindberg.
Your fox thoughts is beautiful! I spent 20 years knitting without intentions and barely finished anything and barely wore anything I knitted. I used to say it was because I am a process knitter, but since I have started knitting with inention (and fantasy plans too) I have improved my completion/wear ratio a thousandfold. Have you considered using your flouro morganite in a Wervel sweater? Its from La Bien Aimee too. The body of that sweater is knitted in an alpaca fluff blend so it is a little more interesting.. love your podcast, ailsa from australia
Thank you for another great video. I have made several patterns by Isabel Kraemer and Elenor Mortensen but be prepared for many pages 😂. I have been working on my stach and scrabs in 2024 and will continue, I do think that scabs are difficult, I am very selective around that, maybe I will just do a blanket 😂. What do you do with your scrabs. At the moment I am working on a sweater for my grandchild, he is 16, and asked for it 👏. It is a pattern from the new book by Annette Danielsen for men. Do you knit for your partner? I am also going to knit more accessories, maybe I can use some of my scabs for that.
Thank you for introducing the word filoxenia to your viewers. I'm one of millions of Americans who is embarrassed and horrified by the words and actions of our president. In truth, filoxenia is something practiced by most Americans. By the way, I live in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love and sisterly affection.
Hi, you know the Drops Air really a bit strange yarn, in different colours it behave differently. It super soft and looks gorgeous. I knitted it on needles 4, 4,5 and 5 my and I have opinion from my experience that it behave better if you knit it on 4 mm needles or 4,5, less peeling.
Thanks for letting us know. I love the way these sweaters look and our library has some of the books, so I was tempted, but too warm is not for me either.
Love your videos Helle! I also have a sensitive neck and am looking for some lace weight yarn that wont irritate my skin like silk mohair. Which yarn brands do you like?
I don’t know about knit 9, I would be happy to finish one. I look at all of the beautiful patterns but my body doesn’t suit any heavy knits..I find it rare to come across fine/4 ply patterns that are also interesting and beautiful. Will have to keep trawling.
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve whispered to my husband concerning a hand knit sweater or hat spotted nearby. Or in a movie/tv show. I’ll even look it up on imb (?) a movie data base to verify. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if that woman wearing that sweater watched this episode? I also like that you favor Aegyknits. I’ve been wanting to try one of her patterns, maybe the Gujo sweater? Northeastern Ohio resident, btw. I also dream of knitting one of fibertales patterns. Currently frogging back a section to reknit on my Kaga pullover by Ririko. I don’t like how I picked up the stitches. I need to get better at that technique.
My plans are to knit more 'useful' garments and accessories and to knit more from my stash. My aesthetic has changed a bit. I am leaning towards more classic yarns and sweater shapes.
Hi, I am curious to find what were the specific difficulties you had once working at the SandnesGarn genser. I have the booklet and I keep gravitating towards it for the texture and classic look. I might give it a try. I always struggle to understand their patterns or translation to en. Take care!
It was when I first began the shoulder. I found progress photos on Instagram (had not yet discovered Ravelry), and that helped me a great deal. Maybe I would have solved it on my own today, but I was still new-ish back then with little experience of top-down sweaters. I have to say, I don’t think I’ve seen that construction since. I’ve also knitted the Franky genser from that magazine, and it was very easy and lovely ☺️
Thank you. I got it at the La Bien Aimée site two years ago after it had been sold out for a while. I don’t know if it will come back, but can find the colours on Ravelry or in the pattern and then manually buy them. Best of luck 🤞🥰
I love your style. If you are looking for a cardigan with pockets - have you seen the design by önling, called Pygmalion by Hanne Falkenberg? so simple, so stunning, so versatile.(several versions)
Kh Helle ❤️✨
I’m going to Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Amsterdam as well as Paris - can you recommend any yarn stores or just wonderful stores to shop in generally.
Kindness indeed… Canadian viewer here. 🇨🇦💞🇩🇰Your post today really resonated with me and prompted me to comment. Like many Canadians, my family has been deeply traumatized by the current US government’s social, political, and economic policies (threats to women; threats to the LGBTQ community; tariff threats, and so much more). All of these threats are for no reason other than to create chaos and pain to innocent people just trying to live their lives in peace. For the next 4 years at least I will intentionally only consume US UA-cam content/purchase patterns from US creators of people who explicitly condemn their government’s harmful policies. Peace everyone ✌🏻
@@MM-ug6md thank you for joining the resistance. I live in Michigan and have many Canadian friends and relatives. We will fight to get our country back.
Quite a long list of intentions...:) If anything, make your top intention not an intention, bottom line, keep it simple, no rules and most important of all ENJOY and simply do what makes you happy each day., you deserve it after all, right? ....take care😊
Hello! This is crazy, I recently left a comment asking your opinion on Linka Neumann's patterns 😊 Can't wait to see the finished sweater. I also bought the pattern with the horses but I'm too scared to start it, given it has a weird construction, where you knit it in the round and then you cut and attach the sleeves. We'll see 👍🏻
Godmorgan Helle👋 Nice to touch base with you and be reminded of two words I haven’t heard (but like) for a while..”beholden” and “obsidian”😉Ah, the greatest plans of mice and (wo)man,eh?I concur..the dreams and planning fun of making is completely different and just as pleasurable to the actual execution. Will be interesting to see to see what transpires as the year progresses.I am currently being rebellious and making a fingering weight(not cropped) jumper with long sleeves..based on Soldotna yoke but adding different charts from other designers, flea stitch and hand embroidering (or duplicate stitch) in some parts..I am also toying with more items using different designer ideas but mixing together to make something unique that incorporates bits I like from each pattern. So far the result is pleasing and liberating.Let’s all be kind to a stranger today.Go well, dear heart.🙏❤️🦘🐨🌏🌱🕊️xx
Hi Helle, Thank you for your videos. Knitting videos are my escape from the crazy happening in the US on a daily basis. I have knit the Pixelated Cardi. I used a US 15. I did not meet gauge on the 17. You should be fine.

Exactly 😅🥰
Love your style!
I love all your videos, Helle, but particularly enjoyed this one this evening.
I gravitate towards turtleneck sweaters in winter, too. I love The Classic by Espace Tricot and Veera Välimäki's Monday Love sweater. Theyre both very simple raglans but Veera's short rows make for the most beautiful fit ❤
I look forward to seeing your knits this year!
I was so happy to see your video up. I look forward to watching them and I always get inspired. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏🏻😚❤️
Thank you for a lovely video 🙏🏻🧶
I loved seeing your plans and absolutely agree that thinking about yarns and patterns is its own hobby, and perhaps an even more thrilling than actually knitting! I don't make many plans. I like to go with the flow. I have yarn for one sweater I will definitely make and have wanted to make for years but it took me this long to find the right yarn. It's Natasja Hornby's circe. That's next and after that whatever mood strikes, nobody knows 😂
Sounds like an excellent plan - and an excellent pattern! Happy knitting 🧶 ❤️😚
Oh that sounds interesting - I have been knitting regularly on it and am also quite excited to see how it will turn out 😚💙
Lovely as always Helle.
I’m just finishing the Sook Moon sweater in your version😊 Thank you very much for the inspiration and all of your videos. 🌷
Aw that sounds lovely. Thanks so much for your kind words 😘✨
🙏🏻😘✨❤️
I always love your videos, especially your quotes or word of the day ! It makes me think. Your knits are beautiful and I am always inspired to keep knitting . Keep doing it !
All the best from Rhode Island USA
Thank you so much❣️ Much love to you in Rhode Island 🥰
Totally approve of this plan 👏🥰
Knitting plans for 2025 - well so far I have 39 items (mostly sweaters) in my Ravelry queue and two sweaters currently on my needles! No doubt there will be new patterns that I will want to knit as well. Somehow I don’t think I will get to all of them 🤣. I enjoyed hearing about your plans but can definitely identify with your not wanting to plan too specifically. I find enthusiasm for patterns changes over time. The ones that stand the test of time are often the ones that end up on my needles.
Entirely agree with you on this 🥰
Helle, I was laughing out loud listening to you because my thinking aligns with you regarding stash yarn, and actually so much more. I wanted to just say “Ditto!” So thank you for sharing your personal experiences! 🙏
Aw that sounds absolutely wonderful - we’re in sync 😍✨
Sounds amazing, and thank you so much 🫶🥰
I also love to dream about knitting patterns and yarn combinations as I drift off to sleep.
Hallelujah! So that was my wild story for January 😄
Also, I have a list of patterns queued on my notes app which I periodically update late at night when I'm also trying to fall asleep where I note the pattern and which yarns I plan to use for it. I don't actually look at that list to be honest, but I write down whatever thoughts I have that moment just in case I forget and I need to remember what I thought many nights ago. I usually just knit whatever pattern inspires me at the moment and find a yarn in my stash that matches the gauge and quantity required.
Great you found it. Other knitters are always a reliable source. Sometimes google lens helps.
That sounds absolutely amazing! 🤩 You seem to approach much in the same way that I do 💞 Happy knitting 🧶 😊
A little synchronicity: the word Kind flashed through my thoughts the other night as an extremely important word to carry into the new year. As always, thank you for sharing with us!
Ooh, synchronicity indeed, and what a delightful brain you must have 💞🥰✨
Many thanks for sharing your intentions, plans, and dreams.
Totally agree with your plans! Happy knitting ✨❤️
Hello Annika, Thank you so much, and that sounds like an excellent plan 🥰 I would also love to knit a pattern by Joanna Ang ❤️✨
Thank you so much for your comment. And oh, interesting suggestion. I have the book and have actually eyed the Wervel 🤔 Now you got me thinking 😅🥰
I have knit a sweater from the wilderness book however I do not wear it. It’s just too warm. I too would like to learn to convert patterns also!
Hi Hele! i can recommend you to combine Drops Air yarn with lace weight merino.
I don’t know about knit 9, I would be happy to finish one. I look at all of the beautiful patterns but my body doesn’t suit any heavy knits..I find it rare to come across fine/4 ply patterns that are also interesting and beautiful. Will have to keep trawling.
Apropos indoor sweaters - more (than 2!) Cardigans 😉
I did say “at least two cardigans” …😌
A beautiful video thankyou.
Please can I ask where you got your foxthoughts kit from as I can’t seem to find it ( I’m in the uk)
Thank you. I got it at the La Bien Aimée site two years ago after it had been sold out for a while. I don’t know if it will come back, but can find the colours on Ravelry or in the pattern and then manually buy them. Best of luck 🤞🥰
Hi Hille, the sweater looks similar to Kutovakika's Dirty Caramel. Its not an exact match but pretty close.
I love your style. If you are looking for a cardigan with pockets - have you seen the design by önling, called Pygmalion by Hanne Falkenberg? so simple, so stunning, so versatile.(several versions)
Hej Helle,
Kh Helle ❤️✨
On the knit collage...contact Jackie Rose or her girlfriend who knit the sweater. Hope that helps you. Ms. Jo
I’m going to Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Amsterdam as well as Paris - can you recommend any yarn stores or just wonderful stores to shop in generally.
Amsterdam: De Afstap or Stephen&Penelope
❤
🍀💕🦋🦋🦋
Kindness indeed…
Canadian viewer here.
I am with you fellow canadian
@@MM-ug6md thank you for joining the resistance. I live in Michigan and have many Canadian friends and relatives. We will fight to get our country back.
@ thank you for this message-it means a lot.👊🏻
Quite a long list of intentions...:)
If anything, make your top intention not an intention, bottom line, keep it simple, no rules and most important of all ENJOY and simply do what makes you happy each day., you deserve it after all, right? ....take care😊
We'll see 👍🏻
I’m doing one of hers like that presently. Finished the sleeves and 95% done body tube. I will put in some neck shaping I think…
Danish designer are the absolute best..... with some Japanese
Thank you for a lovely comment and oh, wow, your knitting endeavours sound fantastic and inspiring❣️😍
Hi Helle, Thank you for your videos. Knitting videos are my escape from the crazy happening in the US on a daily basis.
I have knit the Pixelated Cardi. I used a US 15. I did not meet gauge on the 17. You should be fine.
It’s almost as the dear lady living on longevity island has been reading Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount where he gives the “Be Attitudes”.
The difference is…she is promoting physical life longevity where Jesus is teaching us how to live peaceably in our physical life and to long for eternal life with Him. 🥹
