Love the camera except for one issue, it has difficulty maintaining a level horizon when rigged directly to certain motor vehicles. Looks like the gyroscopes are over sensitive to engine vibrations. We’ve had that issue creep up especially on motorcycles and boats. Have you tried keeping a level horizon when rigged to a motor vehicle?
That's interesting. Sony's action cameras seemed to have the same problem. They overcame it by using some sort of rubber mounting. This is going back a few years now so I'm not sure whether these action cameras are still being made.
@@tollbar5468 the early days, most forms of optical stabilization were extremely sensitive to direct vibrations. Even Nikon's VR would fail when using a monopod on a boat or helicopter. You had to hand hold your camera. It's understandable that there's a limit to the amount and type of vibration the IMU can withstand in modern Action Cameras. I find the Action 4 disappointing in two ways. 1) It's much more sensitive to vibrations than other action cameras. 2) DJI Support waisted my time denying it until I researched the issue and found it to be quite common. On the two cameras we own, you have to calibrate the horizon every time it's exposed to vibrations. If you don't it will fail to maintain horizon in normal handheld usage. DJI should be more honest and transparent. The camera is still a great camera and the issue probably only affects a minority of users. Why give them a bad experience?
Action 4 is unnacceptable ugly flare for me. Gopro WIN.

@@PierPeterVinylSoundI have no problem with Gopro 11 and 12. I got rid of Action 4 because of the disgusting flares.
Lol even gopro 12 has them flares. You can even search UA-cam for gopro users complaining about them flares
@@MykeLim77771 I had both cameras, the Action 4 has flares much more often and they are very ugly, there are a lot of reviews about it on the dji forum, reddit, etc.
